  1. I agree with the opinions above. This would complicate everything way too much and it would make organizing events almost impossible. It's already hard to get a lot of people online and together at the same time, it would be even harder to do in such case. Having to use a very specific real-life time and time zone in double brackets would also be very confusing and immersion-breaking. While I do see the point of the suggestion and I'm sure lots of people would appreciate being able to play in both light and dark, me included, but the cons outweigh the pros in this case.
  2. This is one great point that's been made multiple times in this thread. There's also another pressing issue that would quickly appear if this were to be implemented. There's no real and practical way of role-playing a bodycam on an OOC level. If someone were to file report, you would have to remember every single detail from an OOC perspective in order to role-play the footage accordingly. It's already stressful to do so for more complex scenarios with multiple variables, it's impossible to have a perfect recollection of everything that had happened on every single shift. It would eventually lead to lots of arguments and forum reports because of differences in opinion.
  3. That's the folder where you have RageMP installed.
  4. Hey there! Unfortunately not, you will need a valid phone number in order to verify your Discord account. What do you mean Discord does not accept your phone number? What's the problem?
  5. So it could be a mix of both. Despawn private vehicles whose owners logged off at least 1 hour prior.

    /ping command

It might take a while finding them in the list, especially when there's 800 players on. I don't think a /ping command would hurt anyone and it would come in useful especially when you're trying to figure out whether the reason for a character's behavior is a faulty internet connection.
  7. I'd personally like to see vehicles despawning after one hour after the owner of said vehicle disconnects from the server.
  8. Small bug - weapon flashlights are not synced. On 0.3.7, they're always turned on for other people regardless of whether you turn them on or off on your screen. On 1.1 it's exactly the opposite - they're always off for others regardless of whether they're on or off on your screen.
  9. I think it'd be great to have such an option on the server and I know tons of people agree with this. What I don't like is script limitations only allowing storing bikes and dirt bikes and such in specific vehicles or having them occupy space - that's someone everyone should role-play as they please and if rules are broken, having that handled on a case by case basis. I'd love to see this on the server though - being able to park certain vehicles (bikes, bicycles, dirt bikes, quads and even jet skis and small boats) at the vehicle's trunk and spawn them elsewhere. It can be role-played as them being inside the trunk, having the seats down and storing them inside the cabin, on the vehicle or even towing them in some cases (jet skis, boats and such).
  10. One of the main reasons why TTCF came into existence was to create opportunities for prison role-play and stray away from arresting everyone in Mission Row and having people either log off or AFK during their whole sentences. I totally agree that investigative holds are very counterproductive on an OOC level in their current states. Locking someone in a cage for 48 hours without anyone to interact with is basically an OOC punishment and does not allow for any character development or any meaningful role-play. I would personally like to see people being put on 48 hour holds either in TTCF's holding cell inside the sally port (thus they can interact with deputies, officers, other people in similar situations as well as people who come and go as they get processed) or even straight into gen pop. It's not the best solution and it's not what happens in real life, sure, but we also have to account for what people are supposed to do in those 48 hours on an OOC level. I'd like to see this being looked into.
  11. That's either your internet connection having issues or the server having issues. If everything is fine on your end, there isn't much to do about it. Just wait a bit and it will eventually stop happening.
  12. There's been lots of people experiencing this exact same issue in the last few weeks, myself included. There's a fix for it in the #support channel on Discord, the last pinned message. Try that - it worked for me.
  13. What kind of lag? Are you talking about frame drops or is there a delay for commands and such? (for example, you write something in the chat and it takes a minute to appear). If it's the former, that's mostly due to RageMP not being properly optimized. There's not much we can do about it, although there's some ways to make it less heavy on your computer. I'll copy-paste what I wrote in a different reply.

    /district

This would be a really nice feature. A message could be sent to everyone in a certain radius when a casing is dropped on the floor, following a shooting.
  15. If you want to purchase a business, you have three options. There's also a fourth which could work for you. Find a seller ICly and purchase it from them. There's plenty of businesses that pop up on the market every now and then. While some advertise them in-game, the best way to go about it is to check the advertisements on the main forums. Buying a business is, however, more expensive than the other two. Rent a business from a player. You'd basically run the business yourself but pay a weekly or monthly fee to the owner. This is more rare as people tend to either run their businesses or sell them but nonetheless, some come up from time to time. Lease a business. It's an option that suits most people and their purposes. You can do this by going on the UCP and in the left menu, selecting Property requests -> Request a property. It's a cheaper alternative and you can lease an already existing business. You will, however, have to pay a small monthly fee and open the business regularly, as well as submit an application. Manage another player's business. You wouldn't own it but you would be responsible for running it. All of these are great options. Some of them require less resources and get you role-playing in less times than others. Besides, a business has to be registered in order to function. You can do that by visiting the government's website HERE. Some types of businesses also require a license in order to function. As far as I know, the licensing part is still under development and it will most likely be announced publicly when it kicks off. You'll also need to schedule and go through a fire inspection which are handled by the fire marshals. As far as profits go, some businesses make more money than others but at the end of the day, it all boils down to how active the business is, how much effort is being put into running it and how creative you are. A properly ran, active and unique coffee shop can end up making much more money than a nightclub does. Something to keep in mind is that for every opening you will receive $1,000 for every person who enters the business (with a cooldown of 24 hours between openings, if I'm not mistaken). You and your employees will also receive $4,000 for every hour of role-play done in the business - you'll have to use /startshift in order for it to count, you can check the time in /stats. The most important aspect, however, is for the business to fit your character, for role-play to happen and obviously, for everyone to have fun. Good luck!
  16. In theory, something could be done but yeah, I don't think it'd have a positive outcome. Even if this was the case, using a stolen credit card requires you to know the PIN code if you want to withdraw money. If it's contact-less you're required to enter the PIN code if what you're buying is over a certain value and if you buy something online, unless it's really cheap, your bank will either call you or require to approve the transaction. I don't think this could happen, honestly and even if, people would just be more enticed to go out and rob others for the assets rather than the role-play.

    Heavy stuttering.

There's ways to reduce it though. First things first, set the grass quality to High and shadows to High. Also, disable MFAA completely. You might also want to turn the textures down if you have problems with them not loading. I'm no computer geek but from what I know, the game starts lagging as you keep playing because the memory is full. In order for a smoother experience, you'll need a software to keep flushing the memory every now and then so that it doesn't build up and get your computer to run slower. You can use a program called ISLC for that - Intelligent Standby List Cleaner.
  18. That's a good point and good suggestion, it would be a really nice quality of life addition but this is still prone to abuse. If people were able to save multiple hairstyles, we'd have criminals entering properties and completely changing their appearance within seconds, coming out with different clothes, a different hairstyle (and different color), maybe a beard too. It's really easy to consider them as props (wigs or fake facial hair) but it would still be a huge advantage. It's possible to have different hairstyles right now - as a workaround, anyway. You can have the same outfit twice and save two different hairstyles on each. It's not perfect but it works.
