  1. Whilst I agree that the cost of these items has become seriously questionable in recent times we also have to take into account the actual worth of money; 10-20k to most players is pocket change, even those who are new. So the issue is not with the pricing and its also not with the accessibility of these items as they can be very easily purchased from pawn stores or players with the right connections, the issue I believe is with how they're obtained. Naturally, the new chopshop setup will have teething problems and I very much guess that IFM are monitoring the values/percentages when it comes to that sort of stuff. With that being said the old system we had for chopping cars was such a saturated market hence why the prices were so low. I firmly believe that the most positive step towards making more of these devices available is lending the opportunity for more people to 1) become electronic suppliers, 2) have it available to be requested by a group which are deserving of it provided that it meets their concept/roleplay. An example would be a private detective or an organized crime group etc, not a gang in the middle of south LS.
  2. God tier reply - this resolves the issue, didn't even know that command existed.
  3. Detailed Description The pawn store script has a player make an order and then the store worker see the following; The employee then goes through the roleplay asking for payment in cash, /acceptorder and then the player is given a prompt; So even if we as a business want to run it in cash we simply cannot as the player is given the option to essentially force the payment via the bank and we have no way of preventing it from happening. Relevant Commands/Items Have the payment option be decided before the order is accepted via the command /acceptorder, or disable the option for people to pay by the bank and have them ask the store worker for the routing number. How will it benefit the server? Can be replicated with other businesses and allow them to actually function as cash businesses.

    Player Reports Section

Shoutout to the admin team members who have practically cleared the reports section fucking hats off to you! Lets hope that your hard work remains and others follow in your example.

    Player Reports Section

From what I've read so far the suggestions are as follows Have a mandatory 1-3 forum reports being handled by each admin monthly. Harsher punishments for repeat offenders; mainly for repeat offenders but harsher across the board. Onus also being put on us as community members; try and use shadowplay, return to a "no snowflake approach" where petty stuff is overlooked but actual genuine rule breaking isnt. (Petty stuff like these OOC beefs over Facebrowser or someone calling you a dick in /b after killing them) Toxicity; general toxicity towards one another but also towards staff members. We're all humans at the end of the day. Enable support staff to support admins with reports; perhaps allow them to bring up logs or handle minor reports? Split the report section; add a section for where you have a clear cut video of the rulebreaking as opposed to logs needing to be checked.
  6. Want to gauge what the general player base thinks about the player reports section; any suggestions as a community for the staff team on how the excessively long waits can be fixed or some form of solution created. Just a snapshot of some of the oldest reports that haven't even been looked at almost 2-3 months old. As a general rule of thumb, I think for a player to report someone with the way the wait times for any resolution to come from it are, it has to of effected them in a fairly serious way. Its much easier to just allow whatever rule break took place and not waste your time cause that person could potentially continue to rule break for 2-3 months without any form of punishment. From what I've read so far the suggestions are as follows Have a mandatory 1-3 forum reports being handled by each admin monthly. (Handle oldest reports first.) Harsher punishments for repeat offenders; mainly for repeat offenders but harsher across the board. 7. madness literally did it in front of a 3 deep cop car and a swat officer

  9. I will always, as others have said, value roleplaying at a scene or incident or asking for 3-4-5 or however many units a backup as I think I might need as opposed to bouncing from 911 to 911. I'll leave 3 of MANY videos as an example of why you might see 3 or 4 cars as backup at a traffic stop. https://streamable.com/9nap6u https://streamable.com/m30lb0 https://streamable.com/f7r1bq These vids just give me anxiety watching them.
  10. Whilst in practice this is a good idea I don't think it should be implemented; in real life out of state plates are one of the reasons officers stop the vehicle as its not exactly normal for say a NY plate to be seen driving in LA and vice versa. We'd need it to be in keeping with the lore having maybe neighbouring states only?
  11. Until the script supports duel inventories and gives you all your old stuff upon release just screenshot your stuff and ask for a refund; its a long process yes but its the only workaround.

    Rule 21 ammendment

I absolutely 100 percent understand why and where this rule has come from, however, from a realistic perspective there's thousands of police officers in 2 different police forces. In game however we have maybe 10-15 online at any one time; worst case as someone else has said I've seen 5-8 deputies killed in a shootout. That's 8 potential players from a pool of 15 that cannot provide the server with any LEO interaction for an OOC hour. It's good on paper but practical wise its not. The way it stands right now, you die and respawn or you survive and go to hospital, if you die then you respawn and once that shooting scene is done with you resume with patrol. If you survive again once that shooting scene is dealt with you resume unless you want to roleplay some extensive injuries and time off duty. It works, its not perfect sure but it fits what we do on the server.
  13. Yeah still exists; we have to /trashitem everything in a random garage interior so it can be deleted. Would much prefer the items to just vanish and then re-appear once the /release command is used.
