  1. Updates to the last suggestions from Community Meeting February 2024! Property requests businesses being available to be on a spreadsheet for players to easily see what businesses are available (no pictures yet, no locations yet) ETA: Either this upcoming property cycle, or next one for sure moving forward House requests spreadsheet being done with a list of available houses w/ pictures and locations available (will be given out the week prior to houses opening up) Working on a way to let players know what types of businesses were not accepting NEW ones (easier to know) such as mechanic, pawnshops, airsofts (all I can think of right now) 24/7s getting monthly related new items from PM (starting in April), to make them more livelier and selling unique items that hopefully will attract more customers / roleplay to them Mechanic NPC (where it's being closed when players don't know where the open garage is) still being discussed on how to improve this, but NickM may have a GOOD solution, we're still working out the kinks / needs to be talked about amongst the PM leads No update on lease-to-buy in game, I think this is more of a developer thing to work on anyway Small updates on adding the high-end vehicles back to the leasing list, however, still no ETA - if anyone has any ideas tell them to hit me up (on how to make it a better selective process) (word this better) The #new-vehicles was updated with a spreadsheet, please check the spreadsheet prior to posting a vehicle - if the vehicle is not on the spreadsheet, definitely post it in there and it'll get reviewed! Can apply to become a mapper on the UCP. Same thing on the forums of how you apply now, just on the UCP now! Working on an alt-to-alt mapping request (especially for the mappers). Simple assigning it from our end type of request so it's more automated and you don't need to wait so long. Item schemes & budgets are now out -- we're working on making it better. Landlords Everything for Landlords is done! No reason for why it's not opened.. other than Selena is mapping one of the smaller complexes. Once that's done, we are going to open it up! Selena suggested a landlord panel in game - a lot of functionality to it and she has given it to a developer that she said she was going to name drop.... BUT SHE DIDN'T? Rule Changes We are doing an overhaul - a majority have been done. Just mapping rules to be finished now. Are there any rules you want some clarity on? Changes? Issue with property rules of selling properties for whichever after 6+ months, Selena & Nervous have been speaking on it, but it's currently staying. What rules are we getting rid of? We're condensing the rules, and rules we haven't really upheld. Breakin system rule, that's just under the basic server rules so we removed it. Same wish stash notes. All lease rules (businesses/vehicles) have been combined into one. Compiled property/business requests into another rule. Faction rules are being merged, etc. We had something about free items that we got out of here because ... yeah.. Lore rules being worked on, they are going to be finalized soon! Not to be mistaken for law rules. British accents amirite? Casino Rules! Update to them - they are being implemented soon, but Nervous is attempting to play/fix with the Casino script in game. So, that needs to happen first prior to pushing the rules live. Once this is done, we'll open the casino floodgates for applying for them via LEASES. UCP Changes/Additions/Questions Property transfers are done on the UCP - we're just troubleshooting ATM for bugs! Do we want a more tailored application for requests? Instead of a whole backstory - would it be easier for the last 3 months of development of your character. We're tired of reading ... the fluff. We don't like the fluff, we know you guys don't want to write the same thing. We want to have more direct questions perhaps. We're still looking at improvements for this for more streamline processes to make it easier on us and you guys. Suggestions: Erase D10 Would love to! But cannot. Are we going to be able to purchase more than 2 residential properties in future? Currently no, we want to put forth the landlord scheme and work on that prior to doing actual apartments where it would be harder to monitor Niche, I know but improvement to the professional brewing script to not require using the starting tools and equipment? If that is in the wheelhouse of PM. If you have suggestions to make the brewery script better, forward it to Selena to forward to the devs! How would you like to see legal and illegal factions using properties? Are you happy with what you see or is there things that could be better as a whole(obviously some facs will be bozos) We're okay with it! We liase with LFM/IFM constantly for illegals and legals getting businesses if needed. I think if someone is to be denied, they could get a step by step guide on how they could achieve it in the future We're working on this, we do touch up on how to improve your character in the denial, but we can absolutely look into this as well! 3D Cef - movies, Tv's all that. do we have ETA..? Gibbz is working on it, no update yet! The Rockford Mall is a bit hard to navigate as to find businesses inside it's a pain. Would you ever consider putting some businesses outside of the mall in the /availableleases? Like small shops / cafe and stuff like that? This is something we can discuss amongst ourselves and see if we can do something like this, sure! So less extortion; What is the current process in which a faction can extort a business? Do they have to put in an IG report? Forum request? If the roleplay quality is shit, please make a forum report or IG report - we cannot add extortion rules if there's no reports. What's the possibility of some gas stations & 24/7's being lease businesses? Colorlessrainbow will add 24/7s to the next leasing cycle in April There are some businesses up for lease in the mall right now but when you open, people don't find which business is actually open - make the mall easier to navigate Forwarded to the developers to see what we can do! Perhaps something at the door that could easily show? Maybe allow some county properties to be bought on server without any requests. I know you can say, trailer request is easy and fast (kinda) but still it requires you to go and REQUEST something. Many people just dont want to bother with that waiting and just buy property in the LS and thats it. So yeah, if you allow people to start rping on their own in the country without needing to get any aprooval, it would most likely bring more people to rp there. I think. We have to do this due to the limitations of county houses. We hate it ourselves, we wish it could be free to /buyproperty just like in the city, but we need to make sure county roleplayers are getting residentials. We don't require much effort in the trailer requests. Alright then another suggestion. What I personally experienced few months ago. I had city character and just really wanted to move to county. At least try and see what does that bring. I have changenamed and requested house in some village. It got denied for - "You just changenamed you have no hours we want to see more". I see that point of view, but I also know I made nice background story that would justify why I requested that property. So only reason I got denied was that I just changenamed. What I got out given as solution was - "request trailer"... so yeah, I just gave up and went to LS. I think it would be nice to check to do something about that. County homes are very hard to come by and we try to save them for county roleplayers that have been around for longer than a month. This is due homes going unused because of inactivity, bored of the concept, etc. One thing that I realized when I became brown, you don't get UCP notifications for inactivity and such, which would be nice for players to get Selena will look into this! Lomadias came up with the idea of a custom item script that we can tailor to what your character needs for the business - it's still in the works, but we're still checking it out! Will there be more cars added from the lease list into dealerships? Maybe, possibly! Never say never!

  4. Property Management Cigar Supplier Tobacco store owners and other related concepts pertaining to tobacco stores are now allowed to get cigars through Property Management via a forum post. You'll be allowed up to 1,000 cigars per 30 days. Below are the options for cigars for now: Estencia (Cigar) La Tradicion Cubana (Cigar) 69 Brand (Cigar) Homies Sharp (Cigar) If a player is seen to be hoarding the cigars and continually requesting for more once every 30 days, Property Management can deny the player until the first batch of cigars is almost diminished. Please put realistic prices for the cigars themselves, or this is also subject to Property Management intervention. We are not here to micromanage, you can come up with your own sales, but please make it realistic. Please use the following format in your request and make a post HERE. (Under MISC requests)

Landlords Promise made for December of 2023 to come out - AHA, you guys thought, that was a "delusion" It's finally done - it will be RELEASED SUNDAY - 25/FEB/2024 Bare minimum of landlording right now - we are releasing 3 landlording complexes for now These will be accessible via UCP to request for System will gradually improve as the apps come in and as we settle out the kinks, so please be patient Landlord app is quite simple, you can check it out in the PM discord template channel, thank Lomadias as she told Selena "bro can we chill on this" Only able to do apartments for now - RENTING only, there is a potential for selling in the future as we discuss it and create rules amongst the team We may add pictures in the future, as of right now - it's just a list There are intentions of developing this further, so we are open to feedback/suggestions/complaints/praises (mainly praises) Questions asked: Do you HAVE to apply to be a landlord if you rent out individual properties? Or only if you do full buildings? If yes, what about those people who are already renting out properties? Is Puerto Del Sol part of the one of those three complexes? How would our complex's staff go about being integrated/converted to be part of the script? Can we just message our handler? Will landlords need to speak with tenants for payment - or will it be auto payments? Property Transfer UCP Feature If you're inactive and can't dedicate the time to run the property anymore, but it's active by other players that you've hired or even faction members and it's a huge hotspot for that faction Currently, it's not as quick as we'd like as we do it through forum DMs and those get lost sometimes You have the options of two things: Player to player - Selena to Wuhtah Internal - from one character to another one of your characters This is just a drop down menu, pretty simple You're going to write in the character's name, it'll be done automatically, no reporting in game, it'll be done through the request if accepted There's other shit, but Selena forgot so we move Lease Update We know you have been deprived from supercars for a hot minute, we're working on it... at a snail's pace. Selena & Nervous are chatting it up currently Collectively, we have agreed to push some of these current leased vehicles from the lease list and into dealerships Altogether, 23 lease-only vehicles are now added to the dealership Cinema Script RAGEMP is creating their own thing for this, so with that - 3D browser, physical cinemas or TV, so we're waiting on that No ETA for this, it's up to RAGEMP, but they've announced it and are working on it to produce it PM Rules - Changes, removals, additions, merges Some of these rules we don't enforce, and some of them we enforce a little too harshly - let's be real Selena is working on merging some of the rules, so they aren't just an eye sore We're adding conditioned properties rule so it's not just on the request itself Inactivity rules are a big one Trying to make it more fair and consistent across the board This was something Lomadias raised, we're working on it as a team to improve it Redoing mapping rules to help protect the mappers and a clearer understanding for all parties General requirements will be more lenient moving forward once they are out - aka, how many hours you're expected to have Casino Rules Expectations We're implementing these soon, please be on the look out We're hoping to finalize this soon and help improve casino roleplay rather it being mindless clicking and money farming Selena's Suggestion/Begging for Feedback on the NPC Mechanic Garage NPC garages - do we like these or what? General consensus is yes, but a lot have given suggestions - below are what we will talk about / forward / what was overall talked about Wait, there is a NPC garage? Every time I try to use it, I can't because someone is on /startshift with no map blip In the morning and some other times, a garage is open without a blip and then you can't use the NPC garage Can we make a way to startshift privately, so itdoesn't let the whole server know / not affect the NPC garage? Why not have the NPC garage working the whole time? NPC garage is good, but it should only be closed if there's an actual mechanic property open, not when mechanics are on /startshift, or at least maybe change tow trucks to be a separate thing from mechanics I think we should give garages a free map blip, if someone is on shift, auto place a map blip - if the garage wants a proper ad, they can still /bad I quite like it when it's the early server hours. I feel that garages is a bit hit or miss experience. I'm all for the efficiency for all, but sometimes I'd much rather do the quick things at the NPC garage, and rather focus on RP with the owned garages It's really annoying when people privately open garages for their friends and you can't use the NPC garage. Is there a way to tie closing the NPC garage to a garage that actually blipped? I suggest to make NPC garage blip any open garage if they don't have an advert up Sometimes when NPC is closed, it does not show actual open ones anywhere. Maybe someone just started shift but can't see a location where it is I’d like it if you could use the NPC garage to preview modifications even while player garages are open. I take forever to make up my mind so I’d love to be able to preview what I want without taking up a mechanics time, and then go to a player shop knowing exactly what I want Press I and go to the list of open businesses. You will see every open business that's operating, even without a blip Would it be too micro managed if garages has a special experience within which cars they work on? If a garage has a mechanic on shit it shows on the "List of Open Businesses." Instead of saying it's closed because "a garage is open" it would be nice to say "these garages are open" and gives off a list Cigar Script IFM has given this to PM now, we will have a request on how to get these items soon! It will eventually be either moved to the UCP for requests on there, OR a business script will be made with this PM Budget Requests Selena says ETA 2 weeks, but let's be real - let's say 2 months to be on the safe side and look a lot better! This will be available on the UCP to request once it's announced, same with item schemes General Feedback/Suggestions/Questions Will the Sultan RS be nerfed to prevent everyone going out and buying one? No, it's being reviewed by Nervous to be put in the dealership for anyone to buy. If you have RPQ concerns, please submit a RPQ report on them! Will there be a trailer sync too? (for semi trucks, not the residentials aha) We are working with development for this @cinemas did you say it's going to use the new rage streaming video thing 3D screen? is it going to be available for all not locked to some cinema script... aka buy a projector or use it on tvs etc? We're unsure about being able to buy a projector, but it should be accessible outside just the cinema scripts for events and whatnot, as for residentials - most likely not as we don't allow script usage in these properties Will we ever have a way to pay off a lease for a vehicle you find in game (not a special request) We are working on a system, we'll sit down and have a discussion over a cuppa tea soon Can u make it that pawnshop owners would be able to check what kind of stuff people are ordering, so it won't appear just as X amount of "Goods" every time ? We will forward to the developers Can we suggest boat prices be lowered so we could possibly encourage more rp on the water, allowing FD and more unique types of rp to occur Absolutely you can suggest anything! Aha... we will discuss it amongst ourselves and pitch it to Nervous - no promises Can the misc requests for properties, (basements for instance) on the smartTP format be streamlined, so it’s not using smart TP request format for only building permits? The 'pimp mobile' - maybe in the future, as of now - no More cargo airplanes? #new-vehicles and we'll check them out Can we get back exterior furnishing like it used to function, with donator you could furnish someone elses property until server restarted, now you cannot any more if the property owner is not donator. No, this is a Nervous decision speaking of modding. tiddy modded a whole station into the game. is there a way to get the modding team to work on building mods and such if the government/admin team/etc approve it? if so, do we just submit it in the modding section? Yep! IF there is no modding section, forum PM Oggy (Head of Modding) Could the money you spend on mods be refunded when the lease gets cancelled IF lease to own doesn't become a thing? No, it's a choice that you make to spend on the car If you lease a car now, if they add it to the dealerships, will we get ownership of our leased version? It's up to you guys - you can either keep leasing it, or you can buy it from the dealership, currently we are working on a lease-to-buy in the future, no ETA! Will some of the properties from Paleto Bay be looked at? I don't like to be "that person" but I think some more properties that are up for grabs are not on the lease list and some are inactive for a year now(some are months), Wuhtah will check them out! will the construction sites with unfinished buildings eventually have actual buildings on them? Yeah, when modding stops being hit in the face so hard with so many requests What's the status of the venetian hotel and the rockford hotel suites? how can we request buildings to be turned into hotels (not player managed complexes, but like motels or rockford hotel)? WE can make these lease projects, if players are interested in this - send a forum DM to all the PM leads (Selena, Lomadias, Wuhtah, Oxygarum, Fenris) Can we get rid of "umbrella companies" concept and let people register companies owning shares as before. we don't NEED this but it's an immersive part of bizniz rp. And when you try to control and restrict this, some of us just ignore this part of gov/biz/financial department stuff. and have to play "playpretend" (within the playpretend) It's kind of basic for companies to be able to own shares in something else imo. Find another way to achive what you are trying to achive, what is it anyway? As of the ticket launch, we've done 565 tickets, this is 282 tickets a month! Shoutout to the ENTIRE PM team for their hands in this!

  8. This turned into a point a finger type of suggestion, and needless to say, lots of conflicting opinions on this. If you have an issue with IC prices, deal with it IC (don't buy any, there are plenty of other pawnshops around).

  10. Right now, the current system is so buggy that I have to constantly make sure that the leases that people terminate - go back on the market. The only issues that arise from something like this - is that the business scripts still need to be given out via from PM as you guys can't give that out - and do you want people to not fully own the lease, etc. If they rent the office, then we are not inclined to give out the bscript as we've always wanted a commercial property to go with it that players own. So that's something that we need to work through too.

  13. I can see with the devs if there's an option to let properties be automatically unlocked if set to no owner or property master, but this is out of my realm to let you know yes/no! If not, I can go through some and make sure they are unlocked, but administrators might accidentally lock them after as some players RP inside when they should not unless they are wanting to RP "real estate agents trying to sell them the business" before prior requesting the property (it's not needed). @FatCatTuxedo - possible?
  14. We have made strides to make it easier for players to check out what IS available on their own and not to rely so heavily on an administrator to figure that out. I'll work on a spreadsheet still, but I do have my hands a bit full right now with requests and staff applications as well as other PM projects, but I'll see if anyone else on the team can get started on one!
  15. Since this was last year, I'm honestly not sure anymore. I sort have forgotten but I think it was the process of lease-to-buy which is now up and running. We don't want to make them all leases because it restricts players from only being able to apply for it via lease request and not property request. Before you say "why can't they apply for it either way" - we could, but due to UCP restrictions it makes it more tedious on us and adds more workload. I can see if I can get a master list of all businesses, but that might be awhile as well - or get inactive businesses in certain areas on a spreadsheet somewhere.. however the /checkowner command for players have made this sort of redundant to do as well on our side.

To compromise, as per the latest PM announcement: Hey guys, after reading over: We are wanting YOUR help (players who are on the mapping team, or not on the mapping team) to help accomplish this. If you have mapped a residential apartment and you wouldn't mind for it to go on the 'Request an Interior' UCP option, please FORUM PM Selena/Wuhtah. What we'd love to have from you within the forum PM: This is to help benefit other players with your help, and you will be compensated with the FP if we do decide to go with the interior. We would highly appreciate it, it does not have to be fully mapped, it can be a skeleton as well! For any questions relating to this, feel free to hit up Wuhtah.
  17. Staff members who are LEO cannot handle their own faction reports. There are plenty of LEO members who are not staff as well, I believe there's probably 15% who are administrators. There's also a good amount of civilian staff as well as illegal staff members. We are constantly trying to get more illegal focus players on our staff team as well.
  18. Hi, this was discussed within Property Management. We will forward it onto Management now to make sure all is well. We are not proposing exactly 36, we did want to perhaps lower it slightly for now, to only 40-42 hours. If this needs to be improved, we can speak on it more then. However, we'd like a couple of months to go by first to get feedback. This isn't set in stone as Management can say no. Forwarded!
  19. Feel free to forum DM me as well as there's been a plentiful of properties that have been revoked and able to be given out to county RPers. We are making it so you guys cannot buy them outright from the server to stop hoarding, inactive players getting them, and city players getting them. All that's required is a small character background story and your characters name.
  20. Let's wait and see when the jammers are on the server. Give it a week once they are here, then make a suggestion on how to improve. Turning something into legal versus illegal is not the way to go.
