  1. Removing the snow from GTA World would rip the rug out from under the immersive, dynamic environment players cherish. The white blanket transforms familiar streets into treacherous terrain, demanding a shift in driving styles and opening avenues for creative escapades. Snowball fights ignite unexpected conflicts, while footprints betray past movements, adding layers of storytelling to every corner. Sure, it can be frustrating to navigate, but that's the point! Mastering snowy roads fosters a sense of accomplishment, reminding us that Los Santos is a living, breathing city that reacts to the world around it. Ditching the snow might ease travel, but it would sterilize the world, sacrificing the unique challenges and playful opportunities that make a wintery Los Santos so unforgettable. Embrace the chill, roll with the drifts, and discover the raw thrill of navigating a city reborn in white. sent from my iphone

  4. State of San Andreas Official Press Release by Marin Sinclair - January 29, 2023 For Immediate Release to the General Public: Emeritus Chief Justice Appointed as New Director of Planning and Special Projects Director of Planning and Special Projects, James Connelly, Emeritus Chief Justice On January 28th, 2023, this past Saturday, Secretary of State Noah Wade announced the appointment of Emeritus Chief Justice James Connelly as the director of the Office of Planning and Special Projects within the state government, an office created within the past few years under the Government Accountability Act of 2021. As director of the office, Mister Connelly will bring a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, having previously worked in the state's court systems. With everything in line, Mister Connelly took the oath of office, solemnly swearing to support and defend the Constitution of the United States as well as the Constitution of San Andreas against all enemies, foreign and domestic; bearing true faith and allegiance to the same; that he took the obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that he would well and faithfully discharge the duties of office on which he was about to enter: So help him God. 5. Short description: Add rotation functionality (tilting the camera left or right) to /camera (maybe /selfie too) Detailed description: Rotation functionality would be better able to capture pictures of people, allowing them to take up most of the image as such pictures are in real life. Commands to add: Add rotation keybinds to the camera script to tilt the camera angle to the left or right Items to add: None How would your suggestion improve the server? With the recent addition of several picture-worthy animations to the server, alongside position editing for animations, now would be a great time to add this functionality to the camera script. Most pictures of people (on Menyoo at least) have traditionally been taken in a portrait (tall) orientation, but the current camera script only allows for landscape (wide) orientation, which serves only to keep the focus off of the subject and mostly on the background. Adding this functionality would allow photography businesses to take photos on GTA World that can be on-par with Menyoo pictures, and also actively RP with clients during the photo-taking process, rather than go through the mostly OOC and un-fun Discord-based processes that happen currently.

  7. State of San Andreas Official Press Release From the desk of Marin Sinclair, Communications Specialist: For Immediate Release to the General Public: Senate Appropriations Committee Public Hearings, Oct. 17th and 19th, 2022 This past Monday and Wednesday, the San Andreas State Senate gathered the Appropriations Committee for public hearings on the Consolidated Quarter Four Appropriations Act of 2022, sponsored by Senator Scarlet Summers. Senators Adrian Rossi (R), Andrew Brandenburg (R), Branch Goodwater (R), Scarlet Summers (R) and Luca Giraldi (D) were in attendance, with Chairwoman of the Committee and Senator Diana Jones (D) presiding over the Monday session, and Senator Summers presiding over the Wednesday session. Monday's hearing opened with a healthy round of debate surrounding the Appropriations Act, with Senator Giraldi bringing to question the increase in payroll expenses for the Los Santos Sheriff's Department, afterwards motioning to amend and remove said expenses. Chairwoman Jones determined a vote on the amendment would take place in the near future. The first session adjourned without much other resolution on the matter, and a second session was then called on Wednesday. Wednesday's session kicked off with the committee questioning witnesses and ensuring various agencies covered under the bill were being properly attended to: Arthur Scarpino of the University of Los Santos, San Andreas, Liam Madison of the State Fire Marshals, and Frank Dooley of the Department of Fish and Wildlife appeared before the committee and answered pertinent questions, ensuring that each of their budgets were properly on-track for the quarter. With no representative from the Sheriff's Department present to answer inquiries regarding the requested increase in their budget, Senators Rossi and Giraldi put forth a bipartisan motion to amend that section of the bill, providing the Sheriffs with the amount of the previous quarter's budget, in addition to scheduling a public hearing with the department within the next fourty-five days. With Senator Goodwater abstaining, all other senators present voted 'yes' to bring the bill forward for full Senate consideration in the coming days. 8. State of San Andreas Official Press Release From the desk of Marin Sinclair, Communications Specialist: For Immediate Release to the General Public: Senate Floor Vote, September 8th, 2022 Earlier today, the Senate of San Andreas convened in the Senate Chambers to vote on four items. Senators Luca Giraldi, Scarlet Summers, Branch Goodwater, and Andrew Brandenburg were present for these affirmations, with President Pro Tempore Adrian Rossi presiding. The session began with a moment of silence for the late Queen Elizabeth II, who unfortunately passed this morning. The first item was the nomination of Mister Frank Dooley as Director of the State Department of Fish and Wildlife. The vote was unanimous, with all Senators present voting in favor of the nomination. Next was the nomination of Miss Kathleen Rivers as Administrator of the San Andreas Aviation Administration. Senators Goodwater and Brandenburg abstained from the vote, but Senators Summers, Rossi, and Giraldi voted in favor, marking Miss Rivers' nomination as Administrator of the SAAA. Senate Resolution 33, honoring the late Prime Minister of Japan, Shinzo Abe, went to the floor for vote next. Without comment or objection, the Senate unanimously passed the resolution. Last on the docket was the San Andreas Treasury Act of 2021, S.B 103, an amendment to the previously-existing act of the same name, which would establish the office of State Treasurer, a state Treasury Department, and an Office of Contracting and Procurement. With an affirmative vote including all present except Senator Giraldi, the amendments passed. 10. The really, really sad thing here is that a self-proclaimed "heavy roleplay" server has a "meta" like it's an ARPG. At this point, Nervous needs to stop advertising it as heavy roleplay
  11. State of San Andreas Official Press Release From the desk of Marin Sinclair, Communications Specialist: For Immediate Release to the General Public: Contract Open for Toxic Waste Site Identification and Clean-Up Director of the Office of Planning and Special Projects Francis Ernst reaffirmed that the San Andreas State Government's contract for the identification and clean-up of sites contaminated by hazardous materials remains open to interested bidders. Ernst has temporarily filled the vacancy of Secretary of Labor in his role as Director of Planning and Special Projects. OPSP Deputy Director Martin Haney will oversee the project. The contracted sanitation company will fulfill obligations outlined in the San Andreas Port Authority Expansion of Authority Act of 2021 and the San Andreas Port Authority Act Amendments of May 2022, including providing a report to the government and legislature on contaminated sites in the state, recommendations for clean-up, and a summary of efforts undertaken by the government. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency estimated that U.S. factories released 1.8 million metric tons (about 2 million tons) of toxic chemicals into the air, land, and surface waters in 2011, including a number of chemicals that are known carcinogens. Toxic waste results from industrial, chemical, and biological processes. Toxins are found in household, office, and commercial wastes. Toxic waste and chemical waste material are capable of causing death or injury to life. Poisoning occurs when toxic waste is ingested, inhaled, or absorbed by the skin. The San Andreas State Government encourages interested sanitation companies to apply.
