I feel this should stay on track with being a civil discussion with some useful suggestions, certain people should take their trash talking elsewhere, you know full well who you are. This fingerpointing nonsense and culture of spreading false information should stop aswell, it's ridiculous.

I have been trying to find a 70's and 80's dj for example for a bit now, tried a forum post yesterday and no hits on it, so yeah, you are somewhat limited at times to what you can do. The work Doux and those guys puts in is fantastic too, I appreciate the passion they have in character on the whole club scene.

Just to add, as a club owner that's recently just opened their club, I intend to do a few more special events that differ these can range from different things such as our last opening we held a happy hour where everyone could get a free drink. Some more things could be - Costume parties - People LOVE a reason to dress up Special cocktail nights or offerings Special discounts for students or government officials - Give FD and PD incentives etc Silent disco! Everyone enters wearing a set of headphones! They can't hear much going on, other than the DJ music and would promote the whole...Shouting and more use of /me to try and engage in some funny roleplay scenarios I would LOVE to see an actual working photobooth of some kind adding to the server but I do not know how hard that is. A lot of clubs etc make use of things like this for people to look back on the awesome nights out they had, maybe hiring a photographer to go around your club snapping pictures and offering to sell the pictures to groups so they can have something to look back on. More entertainment outside the nightclubs - We sometimes have an elderly guy playing his trumpet outside ours and he'll have his box open for people to throw money into. Things like this really boost the atmosphere, maybe food trucks that make use of club openings or food stands. I think what it ultimately stems down to is VARIETY! People love a bit of variety and something different now and then. I do also feel gangs play a heavy part in the club scene with coming in and trying to extort or take things over which again can impact things heavily, it can put a club owner off ultimately or make them not feel as much desire to put effort in, however thats an IC issue - More security etc. I'd love to differing music nights like for example I am trying to hire a dj specialized in doing 70s music or 80s music. Music is not and shouldn't be the be all end all of going to a club, most definitely not, but it does set the mood inside most definitely. I also think bar staff that, as it's been pointed out, spend more time engaging the customers, being cheeky or funny toward patrons goes a long way, they are approaching the bar for a drink sure and some people get impatient, make them have a reason to stand there idle a few minutes waiting and throw some fun shit at them or hell...Make a booboo behind the bar like dropping glasses! Even have staff go out to clean up messes now and then. Stricter rules on people inside clubs, dress style etc - Guys coming in with no tops on? Out you go, not in this club. Just a few things that me, personally as a club owner and manager think would play a more fun part for people and something I am aiming to eventually get in action.

It could be good if there was a way to increase the timer on being intoxicated and maybe even add something that when you are intoxicated your driving becomes erratic, like you sometimes lose control or sometimes the screen fades out, whatever. This might encourage people to think twice on drink driving. It'd give the cops more rp around DUI also and taxi companies more business, even limo companies! I have rped DUI, it can have fun yet sad impacts on a character, she had only had a few drinks, some idiot driver made her bump into the back of him and boom she went to jail, lost her CCW, license and car for a while. If more people rpd the consequences of their actions, it'd be much more interesting and people would have even more stories to tell.
