It wouldn't entirely fix it, but as someone who doesn't ever enter a poker table with hundreds of thousands on me I'd be willing to risk a max bet call (we'll say 10-15k assuming low stakes) after folding enough times for some good cards than get roped into betting all 50k I brought on one hand I finally decide to play you know?

Maybe do something like how Red Dead 2 does it -- whoever creates the table lobby should have a command that allows them to set a max bet per round?
