  1. OOC information Our goal with this faction is to portray and roleplay the 57 Neighborhood Crips and their allies realistically, whether it's LA politics or lingo. We're looking for realistic character development and roleplay overall within the faction. We do not accept players who only join to participate in attacks and shootings. We do not support DM overall and we expect you to obey the rules all the time. We're one of those factions who seek good and interesting RP over winning. If you have any concerns about the faction or interested in joining, do not hesitate to contact me on forums.
  2. W/S 57 Neighborhood Crips The 57 Neighborhood Crips, also known as 5578NHC, are an essentially African American street gang on the west side of South Central, Los Santos. The 57 Neighborhood Crips' turf is located in Chamberlain/Strawberry and spans from 55th street, 56th street, 57th street to 58th street, Carson Avenue on the east and Strawberry Avenue on the west. Carson Avenue is the main and most iconical street/clique for the Rollin' 50's Neighborhood Crips. The 55 Neighborhood Crips established as the 55 Hustler Crips, but later on, switched over and fell under the Neighborhood Crips alliance and started claiming 2x (deuce card), becoming the Rollin' 50's Neighborhood Crips in the 90s along with the 57 NHCs and 58 NHCs. 5578NHC is a shortened-name-combination for all Rollin' 50's sets, which consists of 55 Neighborhood Crips, 57 Neighborhood Crips and the 58 Neighborhood Crips, Rivalry & Alliance The three sets within R50 have a very tight and strong alliance, moreover shares the same rivals and allies. They're allied with all Neighborhood Crip sets except for Rollin' 40's, despite their former alliance. Their rivals are mainly all Hoover sets in LS, as well as their closest ally, the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips. Van Ness Gangster Brims (VNGS), 62 Harvard Park Brims (HPB), Fruit Town Brims (FTB), Black P Stones (BPS), 83 Gangster Crip (ETGC) and all other Gangster Crip sets are considered rivals of the R50s. Just like the majority of Neighborhood Crip gangs, the Rollin' 50's are feud with Gangster Crip sets, however, they're neutral or even friendly with the 87 Gangster Crips along with the 97 Gangster Crips, due to the common feud with the Hoovers. The beef between the Rollin' 50's and the Hoovers along with their allies has a long history. They had a long term war in the early 10s, where the 57 Neighborhood Crips were involved as well. There used to be three reported shooting every week back in 2009, and some of them ended up in deaths. In September 2009, Keith Moore, an 55 Neighborhood Crip member, was shot to death by a 51TGC (namely the Hoovers' closest ally) member "007". Onley attempted to shoot Moore on at least four occasions in 2009 prior to the murder. In April 2009, Moore and his girlfriend, Latana Williams, were on the curb in front of Moore's house. Just after Moore went inside the house, Onley pulled up in a car, exited, and fired shots at the house. In June 2009, Moore and Williams were on Moore's front porch when Onley and another man jumped over a gate across from the house and "disappeared." Approximately 10 minutes later, five rounds were fired through Moore's windows into the house. In July 2009, Moore, Williams, and other members of the 55 Neighborhood Crips were standing outside a gang member's residence located at 54th Street and Denker Avenue, within the territory claimed by the 55 Neighborhood Crips. Onley drove past the house in a red Chevrolet Monte Carlo, followed by a blue Malibu. Onley and the occupant(s) of the Malibu fired toward the house. Moore fired back. In August 2009, Moore and Williams were in a car on 55th Street when Onley and another person drove past in the red Monte Carlo. Onley threw gang signs at Moore and Williams. Moore turned around and drove off, but Onley followed and caught up with them. Williams and Moore exited their car and attempted to take shelter in a mini-market located on Denker Avenue. Williams was able to enter the store, but as Moore was closing the security gate Onley exited the Monte Carlo and fired multiple rounds at the store. When his gun jammed, he drove off. Neither Williams nor Moore were hit by Onley's shots in any of these incidents. A bystander, Donald Riley, witnessed the August 2009 incident and identified Onley as the shooter. Williams did not report any of the incidents to police because Moore told her not to. On August 14, 2009, police stopped Wilder while he was driving a light blue Toyota Camry that belonged to his girlfriend, Frances Goben. At the time of the traffic stop, Onley was seated in his red Monte Carlo, parked alongside the Camry, and was conversing with Wilder. On the afternoon of September 5, 2009, Wilder again borrowed the blue Camry from Goben. That afternoon at approximately 2:40 p.m., police responding to a 911 call discovered Moore lying on the street near 55th Street and Denker Avenue. He had suffered fatal gunshot wounds to his lower back and upper thigh. A bicycle lay on a grass parkway nearby. Twelve .9-millimeter bullet casings were in the street. Eleven of the twelve bullet casings were manufactured by the same company and were fired from the same gun. The remaining casing was manufactured by a different company, and it could not be determined whether it had been fired from the same gun as the other 11. Two bullet fragments found at the scene, and the two bullets that hit Moore, were fired from a single gun. At the preliminary hearing and at trial Riley identified Onley as the person he saw leaving the scene. Chapman identified Onley in a pretrial photographic lineup and at trial. Meyers likewise identified Onley in a pretrial photographic lineup, and told police the person he saw was "007" from the 51 Troubles. Two years later, a high ranking and important member of the 57 Neighborhood Crips was shot to death along with a younger member by the 51 Trouble Gangster Crips. The 16 year old 57NHC member Steven Wade survived the shooting, but had permanent injuries, unlike Andre Lockhart who died. On the afternoon of December 27, 2011 Lockhart and Wade were walking outside a market on the corner of 55th Street and Normandie Avenue. The two men were frequently at the market, which was a known hangout of the 57 Neighborhood Crips. A car driving south on Normandie Avenue turned right on 55th Street. Lockhart told Wade to watch the car because "it looked fishy, as if he knew something was about to happen." Wade turned and watched the car as it turned onto 55th Street. The car stopped near the market, and a man wearing a "fitted shirt" got out of the car from the back seat behind the driver, took a shooting stance, and fired multiple shots at Lockhart and Wade. The shooter then got back into the back seat of the car, and the car drove away westbound on 55th Street. Lockhart died from a gunshot wound to the head. Wade survived but suffered permanent injuries. A gang expert testified that at the time of the murder, the 51 Trouble was actively at war with the 55 and 57 Neighborhood Crips. As a result, there were approximately three shootings per week between members of the rival gangs. The area of 55th Street and Denker Avenue was within the territory claimed by the 55 Neighborhood Crips. 5578NHC 2020 Today, the 57 Neighborhood Crips and the other R50 sets are still very active and the animosity between the rival sets remains. Some notable artists from 55/57 NHC would be JayGkotti, NewMoneyGB and Carte Blanche, who all are relatively small rappers. They can be seen on multiple Instagram pages, flashing gang signs and showing affiliations through insignia. Some of their recognizable insignia are Florida Marlins gear, whose 'F' stands for Fifties. They also wear Seattle Mariners to show affiliation of the Fifty Seven Crips. As well as Milwaukee Brewers, for their sub-clique 'Glove Gang'. They sport Round Rock Express and Baltimore Orioles to represent Rich Rollin and Rollin O's. And of course, they wear the usual New York Yankees and North Carolina Tar Heels attire for their Neighborhood Crip affiliation.
