  1. I mean to be fair, if you watch the clip you posted, Clay Carson was the first to pull out a knife and start stabbing the bikers & skinheads over a brawl & some words. So yeah, I'd say that 100% warrants it.
  2. baffles me how these guys havent been banned yet
  3. Your own clip shows them provoking, not the other way around. "Smells like crackers in here". Plus, "Stab City Mafia" got shut down by IFM for a reason. You can't just make an african american gang spawn into the middle of a heavily white supremacist controlled county out of the blue & expect there not to be some sort of issues with it. I mean come on. Does the county need more diversity? Absolutely. But that's not the way to bring it. Having a bunch of characters suddenly move from Davis & South Central all the way out into Stab City out of nowhere just doesn't really make sense. Thats just my 2 cents.
  4. Nothing about anything you said there is "legal". Not sure what your point is or how this has anything to do with the ongoing discussion other than flexing some weird taxi war...
  5. Sadly it's been like this for a while and IFM should look into it. There's a bunch of good folks out in the county (LSCS, CWB, DD, etc) that are really putting in the work & consistently providing enjoyable interactions (shoutout to Jacques Hellix), but theres also quite a few that don't do much other than go around constantly looking for beef. I know several people that tried to start businesses in the county but gave up because every time they opened, they'd get a bunch of folks coming in harassing them and disturbing everything. Or even setting the place on fire for not "falling in line". There used to be a fine balance of illegal and legal RP in the county. But lately it's difficult to RP a fully legal character. I have no issues with there being skinheads or anything like that, but there needs to be a limit as to how it's portrayed, because the bad apples are starting to ruin the entire vibe of the county in general. Everyone wants the county to thrive, but thats very hard to do when you push away everyone that wants to breathe new life into the county without violence or getting involved in the criminal side of things. I'm not hating on anyone specifically, I've frequently had amazing interactions with the illegal RPers in the county, but like I said, there's a lot of bad apples that kinda ruin the vibe of the county in general.
  6. I support this suggestion, however they can just make two outfit slots, one with the vest, one without. /chardetails has a secondary area below the main one to describe the current outfit slot specifically for situations like you stated above. It also has entirely separate slots for the characters you can put in.
  7. IDK why anyone would assume that a fake license would allow them to just casually buy a gun. I know this is America but shit, gun laws aint THAT loose. It's so if you HAVE an illegal gun, you can hopefully fool security or something when they check your fake license. Usually its a quick scan & thats it.
  8. Only if it doesnt cause massive lag....which it probably will
  9. name: notacop comment: and instead of doing your part to end sex "work", you publicly endorse & support it by writing articles that glorify it... makes sense.
  10. Name: notacop Comment: how the fuck can anyone actually be proud of this shit? jesus christ, what has this world come to, degenerates everywhere
  11. I think a good fix for the system would be to temporarily remove admin discretion for serious offenses. On a certain SAMP server they had a blanket punishment system. Didn't matter how serious or petty the violation was, if you actually broke the rule, you got the same punishment anyone else would. It made people think twice about breaking the rules. I find that a lot of people don't think twice about breaking the rules because they know that a lot of the time admins are a lot nicer than they probably should be. Which isn't always a bad thing, but sometimes it can backfire & lead to repeat offenders taking advantage of the niceness of our admins. They end up repeating the offense over & over until they get banned. Would save admins & the server a lot of trouble & hassle by simply making a blanket punishment system instead of admin discretion for serious offenses like Deathmatching, Metagaming, etc etc.
  12. TBH, the amount of "petty" reports would be drastically less if it didn't take 1-2 sometimes even more hours to get a response to an IG report that would take max 2 minutes to handle...I understand admins are busy people but still. A better system needs to be worked out. The amount of times I've /report in game only to wait an hour to be told to make a forum report is a lot. It's a system that desperately needs to be fixed.
  13. Because it was overused. Nobody was RPing outside because every 5 minutes they'd get robbed by some random group of 4 "gangsters" in a black STX that do zero roleplay other than riding around robbing every person they see, mow down cops who try to stop them because "we just robbed someone & thought we were wanted" then PK out of any form of consequences by shooting it out with the cops, only to just start the same process all over again. Even in areas which realistically would never have robbery crews, people would do it. Hell, even now I see people getting robbed right outside of police stations & government buildings IG, which would rarely, if not never happen. Robberies are way overdone & its because most robbers only care about one thing, and thats guns. The rules aren't the problem. The people who's mindset is nothing other than getting as many guns as possible are the problem.
  14. If people didn't MG so much via namechecking, people wouldnt be wearing masks as much. The amount of times I've seen people get shot in retaliation to something, despite them having an entirely different outfit on & shit, JUST because of their nametag is wild.
  15. If only people who're so openly against these types of people would actually take the time to forum report them. I see tons of complaints here about the bad kind of street racers & people non RP driving, but I see barely any forum reports against them. I'm guilty of it as well but I'm actively starting to report these types of people. If we want change? Normalize reporting them instead of thinking forum reports make you look "soft" or "a snowflake". If we start reporting these copbaiting, non RP driving, Need For Speed wannabe's, we'll start seeing change. Admins aren't magic, they can't possibly see everything and anything going on. I know for a fact admins want these types of people (the ones that copbait, drive like its a stunt server, ram cops to help their friends, etc) gone as much as we all do, but they cant act if nobody reports these people. Stop thinking people are snowflakes for reporting rulebreakers, regardless of how petty it may seem.
  16. It was sarcasm. The point was, these people would never apply to it, because they lack any actual RP abilities to properly start a faction. My point still stands, we don't need cars that go that fast in a map the size of San Anne.
  17. Lock all cars at 100MPH & have street racing "factions" apply to get faster cars. There is absolutely zero need to be able to hit 150+ MPH on a map as small as San Andreas.
  18. Just roleplay it. Literally nobody actually looks at eyes lol
  19. Just ban all the copbaiters instead of giving them a slap on the wrist. Its clear they're here to bait pursuits and nothing else. If they want to play cops n robbers, let them go to a cops n robbers server. Stop being polite, stop giving warnings, just ban them, watch how fast they get their shit together and stop treating the server like its GTA Online. Another thing people need to do is start reporting these clowns. The only way people will get punished for doing this type of nonsense is if they get caught & reported. People need to stop treating reports as if you're some snowflake for reporting a rulebreaker. The report section is there for a reason.
  20. Reckless Driving is a misdemeanor, officer discretion allows officers to ignore misdemeanors, doesn't it? At least in GTAW. As for the speeding charge, I believe "Excessive Speeding" should be renamed "Criminal Speeding" like most states
