  1. I can confirm this is indeed false, a major over-exaggeration on the officer's part, ain't no way anyone's heard of 100 bodies dropping in one day, here's a more realistic number that I can actually confirm (only from 911 calls not counting departmentals). In the last 10 days there was 100 calls of active shootings. In the last 20 days there was 100 calls of dead people. I just wanted to present some facts, do with it as you will, I shall now take my leave. o7
  2. Feel free to reach out to me in DMs, I run the FD's side of things for PIOs and most of the civilians leave really good feedback in regards to their accessibility and what they can do, if you guys actually start looking into this, I'd be glad to give a few suggestions.
  3. That's all that y'know, I can really ask for, cause all it does is ruin OOC relations if it isn't handled properly. Like for a good example, I doubt anyone would be unhappy if the person was at minimum, spoken to, at least to get the point across that it ruins relations between departments more rather then less, cause again, as a side effect, whilst you do say that other serious complaints will be handled with integrity, that entire situation has generated doubt. So it's serious enough to generate doubt! Anywhom, I'm going to sleep, again, good luck as leadership!
  4. Then again, take it as a suggestion for improvement, it doesn't break any server rules, but it ruins SD-FD relations OOC-wise, right now all our supervisors are aware that we're no-longer to pass anymore complaints to SD via email due to possible leaks by supervisors, so much so that I doubt we even trust IA complaints to be handled. FD wouldn't tolerate stuff like that, PD wouldn't tolerate stuff like that, take a page from our book then!
  5. Whilst I do know LFM deemed it fair, I'm still asking about the department's stance on if SD Leadership would tolerate it or not. Given that previously nothing had been done and no action had been taken. That's rather my suggestion for improvement to take in.
  6. Just to clarify here, being leaked OOC is considered fair by you guys? I'd understand if a person had told someone "Hey, there's a complaint on you filed by this and that person.", but taking an exact screenshot and then posting it into discord group chats without previous RP in regards to it is considered fair? That's my concern here that I was trying to outline, but I'm unsure of the circumstances of what actually happened, however, that's what I've been told has actually happened by multiple admins, LFM and the people that complained.
  7. Nothing but constructive criticism from my end in that case, I'm not really looking for a response to my points, I'm more-so pointing this out as a "Hey, you can improve on these points". The most heard about issue from my perspective is corruption issues, both IC and OOC, in a way where apparently it had gotten to a point where the SAGOV Senators were somehow having issues and filing complaints on individual deputies. One issue that I've heard of is apparently someone leaking complaints, granted it wasn't an IA complaint, but a complaint regardless, be it either in OOC channels or whatever, a supervisor leaking complaints basically. There's also been complaints about individual deputies thinking they're untouchable and pretty much throwing all logic out the window when it comes to speaking with people (basically speaking to people in a rather demeaning way). I don't have any concrete examples, but enough people have been talking about these individual instances for it to somehow be known to me. I've also, personally, witnessed issues with cooperation for certain other factions, or rather, lack there of, it shows that the department is heavily lacking people designated for Public Relations or rather Department Relations, being in LSFD myself, I know that a lot of people in LSFD are quite unhappy with the general lack-of-cooperation the SD has shown for certain things, but when asking people, nobody was able to cite me certain examples so take what I said with a pitch of salt and boil it down to what I said originally about having people responsible for Public Relations. I dunno how much on the scale of realism the LSSD is trying to copy the LASD, but I highly doubt any Public Relations Division would allow a Sheriff to put another department or office on blast on social media or via any press releases, as it only hurts the department more then anything else. I don't know the reason for the mass-resignations, I don't know why everyone instantly tried to re-instate as soon as you got replaced, but honestly, I highly suggest looking into those issues, from an outsider, it honestly seems very sus that it had happened, but I suggest talking with some of the people, 1:1 on Discord, getting their feedback and looking into improvements via their feedback, and I'm not talking group chats, that's not gonna get you anywhere really. Take this as a single post, I'm not trying to put LSSD on blast, this is mostly stuff that I've heard from people roleplaying with LSSD so I'm unsure how accurate any of this is, I've attached as many suggestions to all of the issues to hopefully help your leadership, good luck! EDIT P.S. I do actually appreciate the fact that you've opened up this thread for criticism, although it'll most likely be locked due to some people not providing actual criticism and just bashing the department cause you're in it. But regardless of it, it shows that at least you're looking to work on these issues.
  8. Hi there! Just a quick question for those that can answer. I'm assuming the current leadership is not being replaced then? I'm confused given Nervous' posts and responses, but it was never clarified to me. Thanks in advance.
  9. I agree, hence why my suggestion. PHMC, by the way, has 2 sections, EMS and Clinical/Hospital Staff, EMS fall under FD count, Hospital Staff fall under Hospital count.
  10. Simply put, lifeguard leadership don't want to separate from the Fire Department, there's been no proposal yet and I'm quite sure that if in the future they wish to separate, talks would open up to separate. You probably don't know this but Fire Marshals used to be part of the FD, but they separated, Fire Leadership wasn't really against it and in it's majority, supported it, so I don't really know why the gatekeeping is part of the discussion. Alongside that, FD literally worked together with PHMC to establish and give them an ambulance service, as agreed upon mutually with LFM. To hit back on why Lifeguards most likely didn't separate is because a lot of administrative work becomes independently managed. Currently, FD Leadership handles funding, modding requests, has dedicated modders as well as mutual and shared Public Relations and Training & Recruitment for Lifeguards, if it becomes separated, then all that is basically gone. Not to mention, a separate forum would have to be requested, modding request will not be able to be implemented as new factions don't get mods accepted so soon after approval and the fact that LFM itself would have to look at the proposal for separation or not. FD isn't gatekeeping anything, similar to how SAGOV isn't gatekeeping SAPA, similar to how JSA wasn't gatekeeping the DAO before they separated, all of those factions are offering them a place for them to thrive, if people want to separate, I don't think there'd be much objection as long as it isn't some type of hostile separation. This is completely off-topic anyways, it has very minimal to do anyways with the suggestion. because it doesn't really account for what I originally put anyway. Lifeguards or not, they help FD out when it comes to calls.
  11. Indeed! I believe I announced it to faction leaders as well. I personally oversaw these changes. It's a bit more complicated as to how it works; - /sendtohospital sends a request to PHMC if they're online (and no FD is online), if not, they are sent to the hospital. - A notification gets sent to PHMC with the person being sent to the hospital. - The person gets teleported to the bottom floor of PHMC now.
  12. Negative, if there's no FD online, it doesn't need any FD approval. If you've been told by FD to NPC, they'll approve it.
  13. The suggestion here is to know if you should contact FD or NPC. If there's no FD online, there's no point in contacting Metro, that I agree with, it's just pointless time loss. Admins can find out how many FD are online and how many aren't, so when it comes to fires, admins need to approve them in the first place, and to approve them, a certain reasonable number of FD members have to be online, so fires shouldn't be much of an issue, cause you'll be told by an admin that it's not possible currently. If Metro's available, they'll tell you if you should NPC something or not. Atleast over /dep and PMs.
  14. As a developer, that's just... Too complicated honestly for such a small problem. Lifeguards are trained to respond to city calls if nobody's available, so that's not much of an issue. Civilian staff are not allowed to go on-duty if there's no FD online. But WHENEVER there is someone on duty, Metro MUST be answered (/dep calls). So 9/10 times, you'll always get an answer when you call for Metro. I would not at all be against this if PD and all other factions get themselves added back /onduty, but they are using pretty much the same excuse as FD when it comes to refusing so-- yeah. Also, just as a note for the thread author, you shouldn't /report for an NPC ambulance, you can /sendtohospital.
  15. I'm against this. There's a reason why PD, SD and other LEO entities have their counters removed, same reason is applied to FD. It's a fake number 99% of the time. Which believe it or not, causes people to react a certain way when they get told that nobody's available. Here's a breakdown: 17 FD online - 3 are lifeguards - 2 are civilians - 8 are training - 3 are unavailable - 1 is available Here's what would be a good solution to the issue, whenever you /onduty, it simply states: FD: ONLINE | FD: OFFLINE I think it's a good alternative to the issue.

  17. PILLBOX HILL EXPLOSIONS SEND TWO TO THE HOSPITAL12th of February, 2022LSFD Public Relations Member Jennifer Schneider LOS SANTOS - With heavy fire showing from a large high-rise building upon arrival, firefighters immediately initiated a defensive operation before the blaze and explosions were underhand. At 19:40 on February 9th, 2022, the Los Santos Fire Department received the first calls about a structured fire and multiple explosions at Legion Square, Pillbox Hill. Upon arrival, units saw heavy and black smoke billowing out from multiple floors of a high-rise building. Due to the size of the fire and the high potential for life hazards, all units from station two in Rockford Hills responded. At 19:41, the first explosion went off. Engine 2 as the first arriving unit assumed incident command and with the help of the Sheriff's Department, a perimeter was set up around the location. Elgin Avenue, Strawberry Avenue, and Vespucci Boulevard were immediately closed. All arriving units were ordered to fall back due to multiple explosions on the right side, around the 5th and 6th floor.Department of Public Works closed the electricity along with gas in the area. Due to multiple explosions and unknown causes of the fire, the Sheriff's bomb squad was prepared to respond. A defensive attack was initiated by the Truck and Engine Company, two more explosions followed. Rescue ambulances that were staging nearby were approached by an injured male and they immediately provided first aid. Fortunately, he was alert and talking to the ambulance crew. Following basic treatment at the scene, he was taken by an LSFD ambulance in fair condition to an area hospital for further care. Engine 6 along with Truck 2 started to prepare the access for the Primary team as a victim was spotted on the second floor.Engine 6 made an entry and with the assistance of Truck 2, they were able to extract the victim safely out of the apartment using the aerial ladder. Rescue ambulances immediately provided necessary first aid to the victim and transported the person to a local hospital. Engine crew and Urban Search and Rescue team then searched the whole building, making sure no other victims are inside. The teams located petrol on one of the floors, also another fire was found at the same time. Engine 6 crew entered the floor and provided necessary assistance with battling the fire. Their efforts prevented the fire from extending and protected numerous apartments and lives. Firefighters remained active through the evening extinguishing hotspots and minimizing hazards in the building.Over 10 firefighters took one hour and 24 minutes to extinguish the blaze. The residence was red-tagged by the San Andreas State Fire Marshals, prohibiting any further entry. San Andreas State Fire Marshals are actively searching for a definitive cause.Units Dispatched: E2, E6, T2, PR1, RA72, RA73, RA02, CHIEF2B, CM22

  19. Being discussed internally between LSFD and PHMC with LFM, it’ll be passed onto development once discussions are complete
  20. This is already being looked into by LFM internally between FD and PHMC with some major planned improvements to the script including notifications to the PHMC, handling when no FD nor PHMC are online and bunch of other things. just to add to it; cops not wanting to do self transports is the reason this script got implemented anyway, both LEO factions started telling members not to transport patients and as a result requested a resolution from LFM
  21. Just cause the interiors are broken I'm a tad bit against it, but sure, an additional few days doesn't really hurt at all.
