  1. I think some people are being overly zealous in their rebuttal with what OP mentioned. After all, he is not necessarily wrong. /anim sit is as good as "/me takes a seat on the chair." - because you are not really describing anything noteworthy. Same goes with his firearm example. And while I have no issues with those kind of emotes, they add no flavor to the experience. And those emotes are not what makes a good server, great. On the other hand, what @biohazardous00 and @Tseard mentioned are what emotes are really for. Because you never just sit down. You can be sitting awkwardly on a chair, or be sitting straight. You can be clumsy in your movements, or show confidence as you lower your buttocks on to the cushion. You use the emotes to tell a story, and if that story is as plain as "/me sits down", perhaps that story should remain unwritten. And if you are just sitting down, and if your goal is not to convey anything with that action - /anim sit is as good of an option as typing /me sits down.
  2. Considering the amount of hassle that goes through to 'create' a row of cabinets, or dressers, or whatnot -- the ability to group, duplicate and save objects would be a massive addition. I would love to be able to create whatever once, and use it on multiple interiors. It would be a life saver.
  3. There are a fair few used car dealers around the City. I do not know how the new shop script works but this could be an addition to what they already have. They can effectively loan the money to the individual so that they can buy the car, and require payment every X amount of days/weeks/months with interest. It can work like: ABC Dealership has a Blista Compact for sale for USD 40.000. They set their own minimum down payment percentage at their discretion. For this, let's say thirty percent, or USD 12.000. They then set the yearly interest rate (either capped at a script level or regulated by the City) and term. Until the outstanding balance is paid by the loanee, they are unable to sell the vehicle to a third party or destroy it. Loanees' failure to pay may allow the Dealership to file a court case for breach of contract, and receive the vehicle back. This does not only minimize our reliance as a server to use /v buy dealerships; but it would also create interesting roleplay and interactions between them and the community at large. People going around to find better deals, Dealerships trying to screw people for an extra buck or two (like real used car dealerships do), and the legal aspect of civil cases to recuperate losses. And if the dealerships decide to use this system to loan out an expensive vehicle to a person who has no business owning the vehicle, it will be -their- fault.
  4. /b is a major distraction, whether it is in a public space or in a private setting. It becomes a bigger hassle when there are butt ton of people around. And for the most part you do not need to use it anyways. You are not supposed to AFK in public, questions related to the scene can be asked or answered via emotes and an admin can enable/disable the OOC Chat. If someone crashed and there are LEO Factions around, private messaging one member should be enough. They can pass that on via their faction chat. I doubt this will be implemented but it is a great suggestion that empowers individuals who create roleplay in their businesses. Less OOC clutter is always better.
