I supported the script when it first arrived, because sometimes there are instances where we are investigating a scene, and the server just crashes. Poof, everything is gone if you had not sent the body to the morgue. However, it created greater problems.
Differentiating between CK and PK kills is completely against the nature of roleplay. Someone died, you are investigating that. That's why cops cannot just rush or ignore PK kills, they all should be treated the same way. There are CK incidents that don't provide any roleplay opportunites, and there are PK incidents with a lot of leads providing amazing roleplay opportunities. It is almost impossible to deal with a 6 hour old homicide scene, where all the forensic evidence about it had already been despawned. As Sam2 mentioned above, after all the forensic evidence despawns, you are left with nothing. I believe the best solution is to put the same timer on bodies as forensic evidence.
If not, most bodies are already being stolen to be looted, people can do us a favor and drop them to DMEC. 🙃
