  1. 45 seconds are waaaay too much. Taser shocks only last from 5 to 30 seconds IRL depending on the model if I'm not mistaken. Usually, the ones with lower shock output last longer. It's not completely unrealistic to get up and run after the taser charge is over, especially considering the adrenaline rush and clothing layers worn. Also, there should be some random chance included in the script where the prongs don't hit perfectly. This suggestion is way too OP. There are even reports that say that tasers fail 40% of the time.
  2. Detailed Description Simply create an item that you can equip or have in your inventory that will reduce your punching damage. Or just introduce a command that will automatically lower damage dealt. There could even be a variety of heavier/lighter gloves. Relevant Commands/Items /boxgloves /mmagloves Boxing/mma gloves item that you can equip or have placed in your inventory. How will it benefit the server? It will make life easier for the whole boxing/MMA scene and also for people sparring in gyms. What is more, it will make all martial arts events more enjoyable for spectators. It's really awkward that there are no judges on the scorecards during events and that every single match ends in a 10-20 second KO. Even worse when there are multiple rounds after each KO. Longer matches could bring more roleplay to the martial arts community and even maybe introduce proper rounds and judging. This would also make people have actual coaches in their corners between rounds. Should not be that difficult to create a command/item that will lower your punching damage. It's a simple suggestion but can push the martial arts scene to the next level.
  3. I mean it's just clear that the management is afraid of losing income that these rulebreakers generate every month. I think the server would be fine even without that piece of income since we have almost every basic and vital function hidden behind a paywall which basically forces you to pay if you want to do anything. And I guarantee you that people would be willing to donate to the server even without any benefits if the server was actually worth supporting. But with this low roleplay standard, we will never see that happen. Incorporating more RPG functions and fixes that have nothing to do with heavy roleplay will just drive this server into even a bigger shithole that it currently is in. Every issue on the server stems from rulebreaking. Legal roleplayers shitting on illegal roleplay because of some bad apples that don't give fuck about rules and don't get punished accordingly. Illegal roleplayers shitting on legal roleplay because of a handful of mallrats that can't portray their character for shit because the staff members don't set a proper standard for them. Why not simply fix this issue by imposing harsher punishments? Instead of introducing 15 separate non-sensical band-aid fixes that will divide the community even more.
  4. What if we just stop being afraid of losing rulebreakers and actually impose harsher punishments on people that blatantly loot corpses in unrealistic situations? This is just another band-aid fix for a bigger issue. Not to mention that this solution is nowhere close to a "heavy" roleplay server. I know that management is probably afraid of losing some income if they start banning malicious rulebreakers but improving the RP standard would help in so many ways. This "fix" doesn't really solve shit. Just look at how the player base went down. Getting rid of rulebreakers for good and improving the RP standard would actually give other people a reason to stay. It's going to pay out more in the end to cater to proper roleplayers instead of people that don't give a single fuck about roleplay or the server itself. We can count ourselves lucky that we can even get those 600 players during the peak. Only reason for that is that there are no other text-based servers. We should finally wake up and start solving the low standard till other servers open. Otherwise we can wrap this whole thing up and change the server type to freeroam.
  5. People will rush in to loot guns the same way as they are now if they are repairable. You might as well just throw this whole thing in the bin if you want to make them repairable. This whole solution doesn't really mean any sense in a heavy roleplay server.
  6. Will there ever be a possibility of having 2 shop scripts in one business? If not - why not?

    Gun Damages

Why are shots making the same damage as fists. 💀
  8. "This is the most unrealistic escalation I have ever seen in my 10 years of roleplaying. Therefore, let me issue you an unofficial warning! Report concluded." - incoming in 3, 2, 1...
  9. Harsher punishments will increase number of people that have 30 criminal points which means that they cannot NC till their case is over if I'm correct. So you'll definitely see more characters in there that are waiting for their case to be concluded. This will also mean more COs on because they'll have finally something to do even if they are in a different time zone. And I definitely agree that the current jail isn't the best environment but as far as I know, prison is in works so that should definitely improve the situation and make it more appealing for people to roleplay there. And let the players complain, you have to expect consequences for your actions on a heavy roleplay server. This is not a team deathmatch server (yet). If they don't want to spend that much time in prison maybe they should focus on more passive roleplay and character development. Harsher sentences will solve the jail activity but also the unrealistic escalations since players will be afraid to commit crime. It's honestly a win-win situation. We don't really need the players that will complain about it since it's clear that they just want to keep on deathmatching people with no consequences and don't care about character development at all.
  10. I mean if we put harsher sentences in place and have players spend let's say 50-75% of their sentence roleplaying in game, we would fix the issue with jail being dead. It would also make people think twice about block wiping factions just for the fun of it. We would suddenly see less gun violence and smarter criminals. If you want to fully develop your character on the outside then don't do dumb shit, simple as that. It's not rocket science. You can't go out with your 15 year old character and mass murder 6 people in broad daylight and then complain about spending 20 OOC days in jail on a HEAVY roleplay server. We all have to reap what we sow and jail is actually great for character development. Not sure why the management caters to deathmatchers and other rulebreakers on the OOC and IC level. People get a mere slap on the wrist OOC and IC for the most unrealistic shit because we are apparently scared of rulebreakers leaving the server and player base decreasing. The server standards are honestly becoming a joke, we might as well take the "heavy roleplay" out of the server's description.
  11. As a criminal roleplayer - I fully agree. Instead of incorporating senseless OOC rules and restrictions that just band-aid the bigger issue, increase IC sentences for crime in general. Simple as that.
  12. It's honestly a problem with only few factions. Most suppliers only supply their own or a handful of factions where this results in those factions stockpiling crazy amounts of weapons. It's hard to limit them from stockpiling since IFM give them an insane amount of weapons and they don't really distribute it to other factions. Besides a few factions that they have OOC connections to. Then you have the heavy PF abuse across the server or robbery squads that go out with the sole purpose of hoarding weapons. Now combine all of these issues and imagine how many weapons can a powerful faction have. Especially if they have multiple suppliers within that faction. At this point we should just battle the gun violence with IC means since IFM don't do jack shit about it. Give out harsher IC sentences to people for gun violence.

  15. Well the bar has been set already. IFM don't do anything to promote community roleplay, character development or improve the gang situation in any way. And the lenient punishments for deathmatching don't help either. You will never get rid of DM squads if you hand out 10 verbal warnings or 30 minute ajails for the same rule broken. Obviously, players are not mature enough to build these communities themselves and obey any rules so IFM/staff team needs to help us with that. It would provide a lot of RP opportunities. However, you would need heavy admin supervision to punish any rule breaking/trolling. That's where we run into a wall - punishments are so laughable nowadays that probably a mass shooting in front of a school would end up in a 30 minute ajail.
  16. Yes but you can still make an older character that is somehow affiliated to the gang just to promote community roleplay and create a realistic environment. Not everyone gets jumped in, there are a lot of different people living in every gang area that hang out with the members, get blessed in or are affiliated to their families. You have business owners there, etc. It's not about having an environment solely filled with 15 year old hotheads that jump in every single person that is not their fellow gang member. That's why factions in South Central don't last because they don't build any communities there. All they look for are ways to do crime. Wouldn't it be fun if we had communities filled with booming businesses and other locals to interact with? Instead of having a bunch of soulless 15 year olds standing AFK on a corner or shooting each other 24/7. Gangs are about communities first, everyone seems to forget that.
  17. It is stupid but sadly, that's how it is here.
  18. The issue is, all of these minor characters are created to be a part of a specific faction. I guarantee you that 90% of factions here would kick you out OOC if you decided to age up by 3-10 years after serving your sentence. That's just the OOC gang culture here. Gangs here aren't about the community but crime and violence. Most leaders here won't even allow you to RP with their faction unless your character is 16 or younger. It's a very tricky dilemma since the sentences here don't really reflect real life sentences. You'll be out in 10 OOC days if you commit a serious felony. If you then age up your character by 5-10 years, how will your gang affiliates and family roleplay around it? They were literally your peers and school mates ten days ago. It's not enough time for them to develop their characters and age up as well. Especially when most people here don't develop their characters at all. The only solution I can see here are longer sentences so your fellow gang members can develop their characters properly on the outside and age up a bit as well. However, factions here don't really have any longevity. If you spend 30 OOC days in prison, majority of your faction members will be gone or will have a new character. If we tried to promote community roleplay more and allow a way for older characters to RP around gang communities, things would be different. However, most of your seasoned veterans that "lead" the way in gang roleplay and have IFM's ear want to roleplay around their old misconceptions about gangs in general and push for hordes of disposable 16 year old cold blooded killers that only do crime and nothing else.
  19. Yeah but they also volunteered to do this for free. Nobody forced them to join. This excuse is not going to cut it.
  20. LMAO. Shit's funny right now but it will probably happen.
  21. No way this is real. 💀 What's next? Paying to get your report concluded sooner?
  22. They won't do it because there is actually no reason for those comments to get deleted. The comments didn't break any rules. They just want to hide the truth, that's about it.
  23. Just the fact that they deleted half of the comments here for no reason shows the real truth.
