Something like this has been spoken of for a long time, there are two sides to it. I am all for supporting it and would love to have something like this available, the logistical difficulty I imagine would be creating it as a working concept and then finding people to actually do it. It may be popular at first but then die out, that's where the NPC fall back comes into play. Could be a lengthy discussion on this subject. Support all the way if done right!

+1 for this, some of these walk styles can add to the atmospheric detail to situations and shouldn't really be stuck behind a limitation.

In terms of the LSFD stance, we currently have dispatcher roles within the faction but they're for existing members that wish to do such a thing on an alternate character. We've been considering civilian employment for people that wish to take on the role of a dispatcher for a long time but it's something that we want to have handled right if it were to become a thing. At present we're reviewing our training material for dispatchers and may once again consider the option of civilian roles providing we're satisfied with the material and that the role itself can be done effectively. Whilst a lot of our calls are medically based and require specific units it's about knowing what resources must go to what type of call which can heavily differ based on nature, especially with fire. Overall, ensuring we have the material in place and the adequate information for people is on us, but with that, we need to ensure such a role is occupied by people that will be able to perform to the expected quality and professionalism of said role.
