@Jennie @CowboyYoda22 Even after they changed it to needing to unlock the vehicles, I've had a character who towed and chopped cars & the unlocking required never stopped me or slowed me down as it took about 5-30 seconds to break into a car with a lockpick. Like anything on GTAW, it can be abused but solutions such as implementing a timer before towing another vehicle or enforcing strict RP standards when loading/unloading a vehicle surely would limit the exploitation. This is only relevant to the flat bed tow trucks as the variation with the hook allow you to just hook up to the vehicle and drive off; Regardless of it's lock state. @Engelbert You should consider /vp-ing your vehicles like everyone else does, instead of leaving them out on the street. Or installing anti-theft/alarms to deter car thieves. Or parking your vehicles in public areas where it would be difficult to be stolen. I don't believe this thread is relevant to your situation.
