My time in GTA:W has unfortunately come to a close, which has been all but sweet. Honestly, it's been a difficult decision but I've decided that this would be the best for my future. As a result, I just wanted to say bye to those who have been close friends and take some time to remember the amazing times. I started out on GTA:W because a friend of mine, from SARP, has brought it up to our friend group and said that he was a part of a faction (I forget the name some Serbian faction though). I started out as Ruslan until I got CKed for leaking information about the faction ICly to a girl. That was funny. I made a new character in the faction until we broke off as the Ramzan Crew, or something along those lines. I eventually departed to pursue a character in SD, which turned out to be Rudy Benson. Although, as some of you know, I was removed from the faction for being toxic (as well as an accused Nazi!). However, I was quickly unbanned and wasn't let back into SD. So what did I do? I decided that politics was the way to go, to continue my character development. I started networking and got in touch with a character that introduced me to the Democratic Party, and quickly rose up in ranks there. I decided that I would run for the Senate once election cycle turned around, but was shut down when the Democrats secured 5/10 of the seats. I was 6th in line. HaveADream later resigned from the Senate and I took his spot. Spent a short time in the Democratic Party, with some of that as the Chairman of the Party, before I stepped down and denounced the party ICly. I switched over to the Republican side and finished off my time there, while also spending some time as the Chairman. I thought about slowly killing off my character with cancer, or something along those lines, but I don't have enough time or energy to contribute to roleplay anymore. My goal right now is to detox from the internet (minus some social media) until I'm ready to come back to it. I've realized how toxic and hateful it really has made me and I despise that, to be completely honest. However, I made a lot of good friends in my tenure within this community and wanted to take some time to shout them out. I do want to highlight that this list is DEFINITELY not all-inclusive. Nexus - I'm giving you the top spot because I'm a bitch and can't think of anyone else (no favoritism). I will thoroughly miss our trolling around and thug shaking on cam in Discord with the homies. Thanks for being a shoulder when I had my down times in the past and getting me back up to roleplaying. Not only are you an awesome person but you have some awesome characters and I truly respect how devoted you are to immersing yourself at times, especially while grocery shopping for a bag of green peas. I'll miss you homie. Suxen - Really similar with you. Thanks for always being a proponent for me in the Party. You're the only reason I didn't leave a month ago when I initially wanted to. I appreciate your flexibility and, similarly to Nexus, your trust in me. The few times we talked ICly was always progressive and some of the few times on this server I will cherish. Definitely spiced up a bit of politics. Kam/Bratan/Vinny_Meadows - My Russian brother, known you for far too long. Thanks for setting my first character straight and shooting him. That was such a fucking awful idea. You're THE big homie and I appreciate you taking our group under your wing for our time in the faction. Those truly were the golden days, in my opinion. Didn't care about anything other than pushing drugs and going to clubs to AFK. Although, next time, don't add me back to the Snapchat GC when I leave, ok? All good. Arkan - You smell bad. Seriously though, you're a pretty sick (cool) guy and I appreciate you involving me in the IFC community. RIP the Discord. Even though we beef on Discord, you know you have my respect at the end of the day. Email me sometime. Adv - Idk if you realize but I genuinely enjoyed our talks. Even though you didn't let me into SEB, I will still miss the few times we played in SD and even more of our time playing as Sheriff's deputies on Red Dead. Highly disagree with this. We are very much embedded with legal factions and a lot of bills that are developed are derived from conversations with them, as well as concerns from citizens. People love to dog on the factions purely because they don't see our names popping up in clubs and bars, which is where 75% of the server spends their time. It's very niche, sure, but not inactive by any stretch of the imagination. Most bills that are developed are created for a specific purpose and I think it's quite unfair to over-generalize that just because one certain bill doesn't pertain to your specific character doesn't mean it's useless. One thing I found very fun roleplay was when my character introduced a bill to ban dirt bikes and quads from the roads, which many people publicly voiced their opinion against that. Just like real life, not every bill is going to pertain to everyone. The part about LFM is understandable but it's not as micromanage-y as people love to make it out to be (opinions without experience is my favorite). The only real hump that we run into is when we are waiting for the "Governor" (LFM) to sign off on a bill, which can take a bit of time sometimes. However, it usually doesn't. They only tend to step in if there is something that Nervous doesn't want implemented. Otherwise, it's usually a rare case. I would go so far as to offer them props as well, LFM has been good with allowing things to run their course. When the Senate started, it was a different story. However, as it has switched hands a few times, people have allowed us to do our own thing and we all appreciate that.

Detailed Description Allow players to purchase laptops and desktops. I believe it would be beneficial to have both purchasable through a computer store or a phone store (could be changed to electronics), with both being able to be placed like pool table or a poker table. However, specifically with laptops, there could be a menu that pops up that allows you to login or pick it up (more on this later). Relevant Commands/Items Laptop/desktop (already in the base game as furniture) Pressing a key to access the laptop > opens up a menu to interact differently with the item. How will it benefit the server? Similar to the base game of GTA 5, this could allow for a different resolution of the different in-game applications (i.e. Facebrowser, LSMail, etc) to be accessed and used. For one, especially on the legal side of roleplay, this could open up a door for more passive roleplay to take place. On the illegal side, if a character is on their laptop in a coffee shop, someone could walk up and steal the laptop before running out and pawn it off for some quick cash.

I have to respectfully disagree with nearly every point that you pointed out, and here's why. As someone who's sat in the spot for the past 6 months, it's just been recently getting back on its feet. Minus a few specific instances where Senators are acting completely unrealistic and rogue; of which would get shut down in real-life, the roleplay that is portrayed overall has been accurate and fair. The elections were very erratic and the system was something that completely dumbfounded me, to be frank. It follows a literal European ideology that has completely no justice when replicating United States democracy system. For example, I nearly got booted from the Senate because 'the party picks the seats,' yet there has been absolutely NO system in United States history that has followed this mentality. I get that there is a break between OOC and IC, however; any voting should be done completely in character. People maintain multiple characters that could, potentially, have differing political stances. This system forced people to act out of character and force people to disregard one (or several) of their other characters. This system did have its pluses, as you stated; it did a good job of weeding out the poor characters. However, every system is going to have its pros and cons, and the system selected had cons that far outweighed the pros. As for this mentality that the 'senate needs fixing,' this has been a completely blanket term for any and all people that have had any measure of incident with the Senate that did not favor their outcome. I am not saying this applies to you, but this message is the default that echoes throughout the community when less-than-desirable outcomes come from an IC interaction. For one, when the bill that my character introduced was met with out-of-character bashing and disgusting words tossed at me, it was completely astonishing to me. At that point, I heard a lot of the same messages and phrases. The only real thing is here - no one wants to actually put in the effort that a majority of the current characters have put in (shoutout to Zani, H04X, Eriks, and Hugh). They would rather instead sit behind their screen and complain at any waking moment they get. If the faction leaders of SAGOV truly listened to 'this shit sucks,' nothing would get finished. Don't fix what isn't broken. Any issues that we have ever seen arise are purely internal and not something that affects the community in any measure. As per quality control, there is a level of trust between Keane, cxn, H04X, and Zani as far as I can tell. In contrast from when you were the leader; they don't maintain a tight grip on the amount or quality of roleplay that is held inside and outside of the Capitol. This is because you have the players (H04X and Zani) that maintain this, which is exactly how it should be. Should any conflict or quality assurance concerns arise, that is when it is brought up to the proper channels. LFM should not (and has not recently) shoot down or shit on the players every chance they get. When that happens, you're going to allow LFM lapdogs who sit in on leadership positions which is where the real problems will arise. The fact that the current LFM handlers of SAGOV and the player leaders of SAGOV have (clearly) found a good balance between their communication has allowed for the faction to flourish in ways that have not been seen from when I first joined. I believe I have thoroughly analyzed and dismantled any arguments you may have against the Senate being a thing. The characters in there (AFAIK with the Republicans) have been well-established and are all thoughtful in their development. Minus two characters - I cannot name a single one that has portrayed an unrealistic standard when it comes to a Senator. I will go so far as to say that the staffers and any support characters have been fantastic, not only with their portrayal; but there the way that they take their job from an IC standpoint. Honestly, I won't go another day allowing players to just publicly come to the forums and spew that the Senate is a shit faction and have absolutely no supporting evidence. A lot of people are too far gone and miles away from the faction to even reasonably say why.
