    The listening device then picks up a conversation between PAUL LONGO and OFFICER ALAN APLIN, who has been seen with LONGO several times, and who has been the subject of an IA investigation regarding internal leaks. APLIN was searched for wires before the conversatio starts, which shows the nature of the relationship between the two. It is apparent that OFFICER APLIN has been feeding LONGO information from inside the department. He also admits that he leaked information to the press, which is believed to be regarding the murder of ANTHONY LIMONE. Furthermore, OFFICER APLIN was offered a prostitute by LONGO. APLIN and the girl, MIA ACHTER were in a private room when several people stormed inside and started beating APLIN and looking for his gun. After they left, GANISA offered him an unknown amount of money. Officer APLIN asked GANISA if the girl can go home with him, to which GANISA accepted. APLIN and ACHTER went to the former's apartment where they had sexual intercourse. With the precense of Internal Affairs Officers, DETECTIVES MORGAN, LANE and BOSCORELLI breached the premises and detained OFFICER APLIN and MIA ACHTER. The former was interviewed by IA while the latter was interviewed by DB. ACHTER confessed that the two performed sexual intercouse in HORNBILLS and later in APLIN's apartment, under the orders of RONALD GANISA. She also stated that she gets paid by GANISA but hasn't for three days now.

    This faction is a continuation of the The Martorano Crime Family, as documented in the history above, and aims to provide a realistic, immersive Cosa Nostra (LCN) experience to the West Coast. Although a continuation, the West Coast Contingent is a smaller subsection of the Martoranos who have picked up the remaining pieces with the aim to return the organization to prominence, akin to the Golden Era alluded to in the thread.

     

    Dysfunctional and smaller than its predecessor, we want to warn those interested in joining the faction that affiliation process maybe even more time-consuming and difficult than in the past. To become affiliated within LCN it takes time, effort and can require multiple vouches for anybody to be trusted. An understanding of LCN prior to attempts of affiliation is recommended, however not necessary; the West Coast Contingent is also a place to learn and educate new members wanting to begin roleplay around the American mafia.

     

    Recruitment is handled strictly in-character. We use a Discord, however invites are only granted upon successful affiliation within the faction. Upon joining the faction, your character is subject to the faction CK clause - the administration of the faction reserve the right to kill your character for any reason they deem necessary. 

     

    All screenshots must be approved by the upper echelons of the faction.

    Important to note, for new joiners it will be difficult to get involved in the day-to-day. The affiliation process can sometimes take the longest, joining a criminal organisation takes effort and can require multiple vouchers for anyone to even get slightly involved; the faction aims to portray the most realistic interpretation of the modern day American Mafia to the best of our ability. 

     

    That being said, we are welcoming to new members and those who want to have the cosa nostra experience on the server and our responsibility as a faction is to educate and mould those who wish to join without any prior experience or knowledge. If you have any questions, both my own and @Jimenez DMs are always open for advice or guidance.
