  1. Pretty niche, same reason the National Guard sticks to being a thing 'roleplayed' by admins when necessary. Being able to do nothing but passively roleplay within a fort, and taking up that space other legal factions could use to supplement and/or utilise to create roleplay just doesn't seem to worth it to me. But that's just my opinion. Definitely not a bad suggestion though. Just not something that seems all too viable, I'm afraid.

Seems nitpicky. There will always be people that aren't able to fully portray what they're attempting to do as they should. Just like the example you've provided us with. Same with people roleplaying around sport cars without their character realistically being able to afford one. You will always have similar scenarios, it's just up to you what you do with it. If you think it's bad roleplay, I believe you could always settle with a RPQ report and end it at that.
  3. Definitely support the idea. There is only more roleplayed to be gained, though niche. Whilst losing nothing, in reality. If someone isn't comfortable with roleplaying the subject through, they could just mention it. The same way someone can mention they're uncomfortable with a certain different kind of roleplay.
  4. I think this is one of few issues that can't really be helped without settling with unnecessary OOC restrictions and/or sinking either party's boat. I believe that as long as the roleplay that comes from both parties is of quality; there should be no issue.
  5. I guess it'd have to do with the whole advertising the server thing, which is understandable, I suppose. Yet I do think maybe making it toggleable for donators or such would be a nice compromise. I do fully agree with the suggestion though. I would love for the HUD to be adjusted, however so minor.
  6. Using a VPN is fine, in all honesty. Advertisements regarding VPNs are all over the internet, and as a user previously mentioned; they even come with browsers. It's when people start becoming cyber-geniuses that can keep their identity hidden, or as per your oversaturated example, be able to see through everything in the world to avoid potential consequences for their actions that it becomes an issue.
  7. Oh, you're Doris? LOL I genuinely love your roleplay, and appreciate the soup! Was insanely fun sharing an encounter with you. Keep up the great work.
  8. Still going great. Truly a pleasure sharing encounters with members of the faction.
  9. On Steam: Using certain animations just freezes yout character, of which specifically for me /ravedance32/33/34
  10. Lovely effort. So far, aside from a lot of bugs, I think 1.1 is really nice.

Me and my friends used to play on a roleplay server on PZ. Holy hell it was so fun. Here's a few snippets of us couping some group of survivors we joined:
  12. Also being a member of the LSPD, though of much lower a rank, I have come to appreciate a lot of the recent changes in regard to realism. It's effectively taking the faction into the right direction for all to enjoy. I, myself, have been trying to give it my all in assisting wherever I can, specifically by just doing my best and roleplaying to the best of my ability. To me, though, in all honesty, as Sam's mentioned, I think the process behind everything that took place wasn't the way to go about it. That's just my personal opinion though. Oh well, for what it's worth, you were very appreciated as Chief by me. Though I personally weren't the biggest fan of your tenure, you gave it your all to improve aspects the faction needed improvement on — that being roleplay overall. Thanks to your clear and palpable efforts, there's been some huge leaps in quality within the faction. Whether that be the improvements on the manual, department policies or just your fierce passion behind your amiable efforts as Faction leader.
  13. If someone survives with a headshot in their damages, it'd be better to be roleplayed as grazing the skull, or something to the lines of that. The skull's surprisingly tough, anyways. It doesn't make sense for someone who can walk and do whatever to be roleplaying dead cause they so happened to be shot in the head. Simply don't roleplay being dead unless you're actually in a downed state as Wirbel's mentioned. And if this goes against any FD material, I believe it needs to be revised depending on and according to the conclusion to be based off of this thread, I reckon.
  14. @Dawn, @Wirbelwind, and @Selena if i may pick favourites
  15. ^ This, minus the Mecovy thing... maybe. Lately had the chance to interact with several paramedics on-duty as well(FOR THE RECORD, I DID NOT GET SHOT AGAIN). Super lovely!
  16. I don't get the purpose of this thread anymore. Is it to constantly nag about the usage of airships, or is it to actually answer the original poster's rhetoric? Regardless, I don't like the hypocritical viewpoints being asserted by some. Of which specifically the hyperbole ones. You're not productively contributing in any way by repeatedly paraphrasing another user over and over again, and quite frankly? I don't see anything coming of it, anyhow. On topic though, if it hasn't been pointed out enough by now; most, if not all official legal factions have a budget. As by now shown by many, it hasn't always been as much as people seem to think it is.
  17. No, but regardless of who gives their opinion on the community forums, you are expected to be courteous of one's opinion, despite of how invalid you may find it to be. I, myself, just cannot fathom why you're failing at taking both negative and constructive criticism into mind to help assist the growth of your faction. Instead taking petty shots at a different genre of roleplayers when you're quite evidently failing to do much better.
  18. I personally think Gruppe 6 is a fine faction. It gives a fine nuance to your average security company and/or worker. You will always have certain members of a faction misrepresent the whole group on their own. It's something that is bound to happen and is rather hard to avert from happening. This, however, does not mean anyone should try and harass them for it, especially not OOC. I haven't shared any negative encounters IC, nor OOC with any Gruppe 6 members and would even like to compliment you guys for going out of your way to breathe life into a new and unique concept of a security company.
