  1. This, especially for the Turismo Classic which is already extremely rare and limited as it is, it might be in the sports category by GTA standards but its a supercar IRL through and through with only 213 of them being USA specification models. Agree that mods should be handpicked and put up for poll vote.

WeDontLift Assembly Line Presented by WeStudios 2024 Vapid Riata - Discover New Heights Ever wanted to go beyond the city and explore the great outdoors that Blaine County has to offer, to experience that freedom, but were always too afraid of the commitment that came with owning a Vapid D205? Well, Vapid has you mind with their newly announced 2024 Vapid Riata, compromising on size but offering the same amazing and unrivalled off-road capabilities that they're known for. Don't let the shape and styling fool you, because the Riata goes far beyond what a traditional SUV can offer you; it is in its own league. (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) The predecessor often gets overlooked due to its large stature and only being a viable mode of transportation through rough terrain. It did, however, perfect the heavy-duty suspension underneath, which allowed drivers to tackle even the harshest roads with mere ease. While only powered by an inline-four engine, it packed a punch with plenty of torque. Vapid were clearly onto something big here, and it's evident from their most recent releases of the D205 and Hellenbach variant that they know off-roading; they've got it nailed down to an absolute T. For the 2024 Riata, Vapid has scaled back the size and kept everything that made the previous model and D205 great, packaging it into a more palatable body style that fewer people will struggle with parking. (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) Four doors, boxy with retro styling inspiration and modern queues littered throughout, it blends the best of both worlds perfectly. Make sure you've got that 80s playlist ready before you get behind the wheel of one of these for the many adventures that await. But that's not all. Vapid wants this car to truly feel unique to the owner, and straight from the factory, you can customise it and spec it out to your heart's content. Want to feel the breeze through your hair? Ditch the hardtop roof and make it a convertible. Itching for a nomadic lifestyle? Kit your Riata out with lightbars and tube-frame doors to feel closer to fresh pasture. Heavy hauling for a camping trip? Vapid has you covered with a roof rack. Hell, you can even go as far as removing the doors completely if you so please. The possibilities and combinations for your brand new Riata are absolutely endless, and it helps you feel that much closer and connected to it. At least you won't be worried about seeing a matching model on the roads anytime soon. (2024 Vapid Riata TX Pre-Production Renders, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) Customisation doesn't end there either; Vapid is releasing two different model variants, the Riata TX and Riata S. These model variants are to differentiate the two engine options that are available, and sorry to break it to a few of you, a V8 is not one of them. The Riata S comes packaged with a 2.3-litre inline-four that can be mated to either a 10-speed automatic or a 7-speed manual transmission and is reported to boast 275 horsepower with 315 ft-lbs. It will be more suited for those in the urban environment who want to use it as a mid-size family SUV and family hauler. The S will also come with smaller wheels and tyres that are more appropriate for city driving. The Riata TX is for those who want to hit the mud and conquer roads untravelled. Packing a turbocharged 3-litre V6, it hits the ground running with 420 horsepower and 440 ft-lbs and fat bead lock wheels ready for the dirt. The only downside to the TX is that, unlike the S, you're limited to the 10-speed automatic. For those that would love to hear the economical statistics, while the V6 is a beefier engine, both options have the same economy, which was a shock to see, to say the least. (2024 Vapid Riata S, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) However, no matter which trim you go for, both Riata variants come with four-wheel drive and a transfer case that lets you switch between 2H and 4H on the fly, along with front and rear differentials that lock electronically. 2H is 2WD high range, which means you're only sending power to the rear wheels, and it's used for your standard everyday driving, which will be mainly used in the Riata S, while 4H is 4WD high range, and it's for when you're in need of traction, getting power to all four wheels. The most surprising feature on this car, and it will be an absolute lifesaver for off-roading enthusiasts, is the sway-bar disconnect. Rather than having to manually disconnect your sway bar before off-roading, which can be time-consuming, especially if you're a novice, this feature disconnects it electronically, which lets you go straight into the action with less prep time required. Disconnecting your sway-bar results in less pressure applied to the axles and a softer suspension, giving you an advantage when taking on large obstacles. Simply put, if you're going off-roading, it allows you to maintain more traction, and Vapid has blessed us by turning it into a single-button feature. (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) All said and good on paper, but how does the 2024 Vapid Riata actually handle when put to the test? Well, for one, the independent suspension that is utilized on the front is absolutely phenomenal, and it led to us questioning why more purpose-built off-roaders that you can buy haven't made the switch over yet. Vapid are definitely leading the charge on this, and we go back to the fact that in recent years, Vapid have been absolutely nailing their off-road vehicles because, just like them, any terrain or obstacle you throw at the Riata, it will take it head-on without an issue, keeping up with the Hellenbachs. Taking it to the roads, the Riata just keeps surprising us because, for what it is, it trumps the competition with how smooth, light, and easy the handling is. You don't get the typical death wobble that many similar vehicles have, and keeping it in a straight line is as easy as ever; it doesn't feel sloppy through the turns either. Vapid has done an outstanding job at making the Riata feel as smooth and precise as it does, and we've got to applaud them for that feat. (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) They haven't cut any corners with the interior either. While it may look basic, we think it works quite well and suits the exterior of the Riata along with the purpose it serves. It also doesn't throw in unnecessary curves and edges into the mix, with most of it being quite flat, making it even easier to clean off after your little detours. The center houses a 12-inch touchscreen display where most of your infotainment is accessible, letting you connect your phone and access the built-in navigation system. We've got to thank Vapid for not going down the same lazy route as most manufacturers, where you're forced to use the touchscreen for absolutely everything. Climate controls and all your off-roading necessities are still controlled by physical switches, which means less hassle trying to navigate a digital display when you want these changes to be instant with a single press. (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) Overall, the 2024 Vapid Riata tops the tables when it comes to its class and provides one of the best experiences of SUV ownership. While it may be smaller, it gives the big dogs a run for their money, and its versatility is second to none. Drop the kids off at school and go explore the great outdoors, or combine camping with a day out at the beach for some surfing—all of this is possible with the brand new Riata. It blurs the lines between a daily driver and an off-roader; the only question is, how long will you take customising yours at the dealership? (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) (2024 Vapid Riata TX, Photo Credits @ Vapid Motor Company, USA) TL:DR - With the brand new 2024 Vapid Riata, Vapid has stuffed the off-roading capabilities of a D205 into the body of a mid-size family SUV and come up with an extensive catalogue of customisations to make it unique to each owner. Release Date Predictions: Q2 2024 Price Predictions: $135,000–$170,000. 3. User : KH Comment : Disappointing to hear the news that SAAA are attempting to handicap a growing governing body such as CMSA who have been making motorsports more accessible to the masses. Could the brash and abrupt termination of the contract be an indication of SAMRA's last ditch effort at gaining relevance again? With many teams and drivers losing confidence in them as a motorsports organisation following their recent seasons, it appears holding a monopoly over the use of the Sandy Shores Airfield is their plan on recovering from dwindling attendance numbers. #AuditSAAA
