The thing is, at least in PD, if you're below a certain rank its MG if you have your radio turned on when off duty. It's not a matter of preference. RPly you can't even take it home, so... there's no preference to be made.

I am referring to Command and Staff members who are allowed to take home their radios, mostly. Yeah, I do agree with the suggestion, as it prevents massive MG potential, as if you're a P1-P3+1 AFAIK you can't take your radio home. I would assume its the same for Supervisors, but I have never been one so I don't know for sure.

I support this, as long as it only applies to LEO/GOV faction members, because some people actually do RP carrying radios around with them. Even some LEO/GOV faction members are allowed to have radios off duty, so, it should maybe be restricted to only certain rank members of specific factions. I don't know how possible that is, but overall this is a good suggestion.
