"Mister Ortiz, both of the audio clips in exhibit one have audio... perhaps you have your device muted? I can quite clearly hear the audio in them."

Your honour, I must ask you to reconsider and hereby file a motion to quash.
The recommended sentence is 20 months ((days)). The defendant has been waiting 71 months ((days)) for a judge to finally arrive in the court-room.
In fact, no reason has been provided for why a judge has not taken this case for nearly 6 entire years ((way over 2 months))!
This excessive delay is a fault of the courts and the courts alone. Anything other than a ROR would be an absolute injustice!

** George Andino enters the courtroom, motioning for everyone to sit as he does. He mutters under his breath. **
"Been a while since I've done this..."
** He raises his voice, addressing the court. **
"Okay- everyone, please be seated. I'm Presiding Judge of the Superior Court, George Andino, and I'll be presiding over the case against Mister Todd Parker. I can see him there at the bench, aaaand the prosecution is present as well, perfect... okay. I'll be disallowing bail for the defendant on the grounds of an excessive amount of criminal points, and a high flight risk, due to past convictions.
I'd like to invite the Prosecution to make their opening statements against the defendant."

** George Andino begins scribbling on a piece of paper on his desk, before handing it off to the court Bailiff after a few minutes. The Bailiff would exit the courtroom, and return with several copies of the document he was provided. Copies would be provided to both the Plaintiff and Defence benches. **
SpoilerSuperior Court of San Andreas
Court Judgement
After thorough review of the case Naomi Catanzano v. Los Santos Police Department, the Superior Court has come to a verdict on the allegations and is thus ready to deliver a ruling in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local law and/or ordinance to ensure fair and just enforcement of the law within the boundaries of the state. It is of the official opinion of the court that;
The arrest of Miss Catanzano does in fact constitute a Fourth Amendment violation at its core, however the amount of financial compensation requested does not align with legislative guidelines.
And thus in support of the narrative, it is the finding of the court that in the case matter at hand, the court rules;
That the court agrees with the Civil Petition on the following grounds;
- Miss Catanzano's Fourth Amendment rights were in fact violated in this case.
That the court disagrees with the Civil Petition on the following grounds;
- The amount of compensation requested is not reasonable per the amount of time Miss Catanzano spent in custody.
- The amount of compensation requested does not align with legislative guidelines, as the State of San Andreas cannot be liable for the payment of a claim or judgement by any one person, which exceeds one-hundred and fifty thousand dollars ($150,000) regardless of the total amount of judgements or claim in relation to a single instance.
And it is henceforth ordered that the defendant shall be held responsible for restitution with the following demands;
- $50,000 - Fourth Amendment Constitutional Violation.
- $25,000 - Legal Fees
- $25,000 - Emotional anguish caused by false imprisonment.
It is henceforth ordered by Judge George Andino, and shall be carried out without delay. The court is now dismissed.
"Okay - all of you should have a copy of my judgement, the court is now dismissed as per the document."
** George Andino raises the gavel to his right, and bangs it down on the pad below once. **

The initial notice:
QuoteWe will proceed with closing statements, please focus them on the torts brought forward. 72 hours.
The second notice:
QuoteIf both parties could deliver 'em within 72 hours of the original notice, that would be appreciated.
The order was, in our opinion, clear. It was not followed by the Defense, as with previous occasions as well.
"I'll be giving some leniency to the defense regarding timing due to the recent Easter holidays."
-
"Alright- thanks to both of you for providing that- I'll be reviewing the case and will present a judgement shortly."

** George Andino enters the courtroom, he would take his seat down at the front of the courtroom, motioning for everyone to sit as he does. **
" 'Ey folks, erm - Apologies for the late notice, my name is Presiding Judge George Andino, and I'll be replacing Judge Adelman in this case. I see that uhh- she previously motioned for both parties to bring forward their closing statements? If both parties could deliver 'em within 72 hours of the original notice, that would be appreciated. I'll be issuing a judgement shortly afterwards."
