  1. i personally think gtaw has made me an actively worse roleplayer
  2. ? https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/pictures/murder-map-deadliest-u-s-cities/ https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews.com/amp/pictures/the-most-dangerous-cities-in-america/ NYC isnt even on the list bro LA also isnt as violent as it was in the 90s, infact, the US is SIGNIFICANTLY less violent since the nineties. because violent crime is directly linked with poverty. as economical outcomes improved in major US cities, violent crime goes down. and you’ll notice with increased wealth inequality crime rates are going up again, but not in the old neighborhoods of Brooklyn or Compton, but instead in areas such as Detroit or Kansas city. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/618381/ which are the poorest cities in the US. and it has nothing to do with gun control. imagine thinking less guns saturated in an area is anyway linked to more crime. if that were true, New Orleans would have the lowest amount of gun violence in the US. But the opposite is true. Easy access to firearms, legal or otherwise, combined with poverty is a major contributor to gun violence.
  3. you know you can still ambush and beat the shit out of a character without trying to kill them no one really wants to wait as you carve up their epidermis layer and use it as a fancy coat
  4. necro’ing a dead thread here. but has their been any progress toward a wildfire season for los santos? were there any wildfires?
  5. Can you clarify “provide RP and facilities more akin to a hospital,“ and what that entails?
  6. San Andreas is the parody version of California, the only reason it’s an Island is for game reasons. Los Santos is a parody of LA. Personally, I have no idea why we don’t use more GTA lore, it’s fun, I love in the real world, I’m not playing GTA to play what I’m already, y’know, in. GTA lore is a parody of whacky criticisms of American life. I see no reasons that California can just be edit out with the GTA equivalent, or Liberty City being edited out for its GTA equivalent. The other states don’t have a GTA equivalent or cities, so just use the real like equivalent. easy peasy.
  7. Emote fighting can easily be fixed by one simple tool that we already have. The lovely /roll feature. Ask OOCly how the opposing player would like to roll, either out of 100, 10 or a classic 20. And then work out a system of successive emotes. Maybe three successful punches and you’re out like Christmas lights. That’s how I usually do it, works pretty well, and the roll feature is honestly underutilized as a roleplay tool. It’s not only great for emote fighting but for making mistakes when doing things. Just a thought however.
