  3. Bump, still for sale. Last bidder did not respond to messages, bid is nullified. @NissanR
  4. (()) Price: $65,000 Firm Not Taking Offers Comment: Name # Number
  5. 920, yet the interested party has yet to respond since Sunday. Until he retracts, purchases or is outbid? The apartment remains for sale, with that being the current value it's at.
  6. Don't forget Mirror Park and Vespucci Canals holding some of the most expensive and sought out houses on the server available through player-to-player sale and purchase, only to be a free-for-all for come and go factions that last 2-3 months at BEST and do fuckall but cycle around with a group consisting of 80% underage characters, tag up homes and generally do shallow-end criminalesque roleplay to justify their idealistic means of their imaginatory version of a crime kingpin, which just boils down to /maskname, rob people, run, threaten, do shit in an area that doesn't mean shit. Echo Park has been held to gang injuctions and is a practically safe living area. In-game? You get peace when there's a downtime betwen which faction will take up the Tangerine Street Apartment Complex and the Bridge Street Apartment Complex just to use their 'area anchor' as a means to rob or break into standalone homes in a quiet area of town. It HAS been an issue for years, people HAVE tried to voice their concerns and NOTHING has been done. You can't just ask a group of 10+ people to up and fuck off an area or roleplay something different unless you have a pretty good reason, which was the case in 2021. Me, personally? If you want Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay to be populated by anything other than these supposed 'Jim Crow' and 'Davis' caricatures, have PM and IFM cut the poison right at the root by shutting shit down and limiting properties to unaffiliated characters. Create SMALL buffer zones in these already miniscule reaches of the map that are able to accomodate ONE or TWO groups at most.
  7. According to a portion of illegal roleplayers, nazis are just fine, cat ear wearing lesbians will fuck you up. But hey, to each their own.
  8. Whoever tells you that being a different skin color is asking for trouble is wrong. Whoever tells you that when you know there's people that will react aversively towards your character's skin color and you still interact with them is asking for trouble is merely advising you avoid those problematic people and seek other players and sources of roleplay within the county beyond them. The issue is that the county consists mostly of them, so it's not an easy task finding an alternative.
  9. For Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay to even remotely be considered a community, you'd once again have to raise the number of non-affiliated or loosely affiliated characters. To prioritize business owners and local residents that aren't heavy-legal (LEO, etc) and heavy-illegal (crim facs, ocgs, etc). That would then open room for a small number of the remaining to reside in such area. Because let's face it, the county has been grounds to a massive flood of illegal concepts that have attained a monopoly of the area in terms of real estate and roleplay opportunity. Nothing server-side stops you from roleplaying whatever concept you want to introduce to the county. But community-side, that's a whole different chatter. You're going to have to contest well established groups who just so happen to not want you there, or join them should you not want to face consequence. Until there's a massive wipe and that happens? Things will remain the same like they ALWAYS have been. And to take down what exists on the county right now would create a MASSIVE vacuum of power and behavior that would make what little is left alone practically unstable and unusable. I believe RPQM, PM, IFM & LFM should intervene together on this and slowly turn things towards a more suitable approach for everyone, issue is nobody wants to change what exists and is well based and founded on a whim from forum posters. But that's just a belief, nothing more than wishful thinking. Anything within the city limits feels like one big COD lobby. Anything outside of it feels like an elitist deserted area. You're prone to run into people who are affiliated into one another more than you are likely to run into Bob-Jim Joe Roberts tending to his own crops or moonshine still. That said, I do love to be the devil's advocate and go against this like picket fence of text with: Pick your own company, pick your own engagements. If you know how things work and you're finding yourself muddled in trouble you already know exists? Then don't, avoid it. As it stands, that's still somewhat feasible in anyone's terms, to be able to pick your advances, character development and engagements both IC and OOCly speaking. It's when you're unable to create your own grounds, boundaries and settle to roleplay something you like where you like that it becomes heavily problematic to the community at large, and must be thoroughly looked into by staff. That there is a nuclear clock of it's own, and unfortunately we're very close to midnight. But until then? Try and exhaust all avenues.

  11. As someone who's been on and off county roleplay since 2018, a lot has changed. And it takes a bit of pattern recognition to understand what exactly. The way I see it, it is as follows: Countyside properties are heavily limited in number. Priority is given to county characters. The majority of county characters are police officers, emergency workers or illegal characters. There are few unaffiliated characters or business owners, although these don't tend to last long or alternatively lay low to avoid trouble. What does this all sum up to? The portion that are police officers aren't actively patrolling their own streets or home, as much as they are patrolling the entire map as per their own internal protocols on doing so. The portion that are illegal characters tend to band together and snowball to big numbers of settled people. What this means, is you're highly likely that the very few people you run into on that small street in Sandy or Paleto are illegal characters or one of the few that managed to avoid that. Back in 2018 and 2019, there was not a single idea of illegal roleplay and organization anywhere near comparable to the size of those found on today's player distribution. There are many legal and illegal county characters that are weathered veterans and end up passing on their knowledge to newer players, thus avoiding behaviors such as the one OP spoke of. This does not imply there are no bad apples to ruin the bunch, because there are. To make it worse, given the lack of housing, every single county property MUST be applied for. That is a soft barrier for players to be able to acquire housing outside the city to roleplay off of. Unfortunately, there's no way that Sandy Shores and Paleto Bay can accomodate civvy roleplayers as the city. Since there's lack of gray-area civillian roleplay, and the few that want to move there to do so end up being pushed out by the sheer number of organized people that have already taken up most of the space. This isn't meant to bash on those aforementioned types of characters, but simple stating a personal opinion on the fact that the county cannot accomodate roleplayers that aren't criminals or business owners because both the amount of housing taken up by these characters, and the soft barrier one has to cross to get a property there. City-wise? Buy an apartment and go. It's newbie friendly, suitable for any and every environment. While the county feels slightly elitist with the present groups and boundaries to cross in order to get there. Fortunately, these boundaries were made as problems came up to HELP people, instead of aiming to be restrictive towards players. Unfortunately, that means only people that know what they have to do can comfortably make the trip there. There's also the discussion of adding more houses to the county. Half disagrees because they don't want the county to be overpopulated and feel like a mini-Los Santos, half agree because there should be more choices to housing and locations other than the ones presented.
