  1. @Fenris Excellent to see you up there!
  2. European People Roleplaying as Americans try to tell me what is or isn't accurate as American while I'm an actual American.
  3. I'd like to see some blue collar workers at the lumber mill out in the county. I'd like to see road construction crews on the highway. Takeout delivery vehicles from some food shops (there's a whole ass pack of delivery vehicles even). Employees working the cellphone/wireless stores. Maybe player owned/run clothing stores with custom mapped ints and working clothing script support. I know that Aurum and some players come together to support each other ie: a player paying their power/electric bill to Aurum and so on. I'd like to see a few utility/Aurum trucks rolling around. Maybe fixing/working on someone's place cause their power was cut and are fixing it, or repairing a transformer as a city block's electric died out for some unknown reason they need to look into. I know LSPD's traffic division works on...well, traffic related issues but I'd like to see some actual parking enforcement maybe? The City's Public Works dept could possibly do Towing as well, so that the LSPD doesn't have to do it perhaps (and doing it themselves if Public Works doesn't respond or something). There are so many options and avenues to explore.
  4. I can appreciate the need to clean and maintain your firearm. As someone who lives in the south (Virginia, for example), we often use and maintain them ourselves, as I can't imagine needing to take to it someone to do so. But I like that we'll, at the least, be able to it for a little while.
  5. I'm not a fan either. As an American who does live in a quiet country town like this (In Virginia, minus the beachy parts) the divider makes it rather awful, and isn't a thing here either, realistically. High accident or construction, sure. But outside of that, it's not something we do here. I can't speak for ALL states, but in the ones I have lived in and/or visited, VA, NY, GA, Cali, FL, MD, KY, it's not a thing. But it's just me opinion and experience as an American.
  6. Much like IRL, anyone can go into a store, and purchase a dashcam and install it. (Walmart has one for $31 if you're feelin' froggy) If you can't install it yourself, you can have someone do it for you, either way they're easily purchasable, cheap, and (fairly) easy to install. And considering folks want "realism" it seems decently viable. And much like anything else in real life and in server, just because it's available, doesn't mean everyone's going to get/partake in it. So no, not "Every" car is going to have this or that. Much like alarm system and so on.
  7. Agreed with this. I have dashcam installed on my vehicle for insurance purposes. Came in handy when a deer hit my car lol
  8. As someone who visits Cali, I absolutely love this and think we should definitely keep it.
