OOC INFORMATION This group aims to portray a realistic Cambodian American / Asian Crip community with a focus on individual development. Anyone who wants to pretend to be an Asian Crip or who lives in the Vespucci Canals area is welcome to join this group. Given the history and roots of Cambodians in America, we currently only allow third or fourth generation Cambodian - Americans. New members should use an American first name and a Cambodian last name (e.g. Arnold Khong) Our aims is to create a realistic representation of the Suicidal Town Crip gang that actually exists on the streets of Long Beach. We also want to put great emphasis on the gangs activities and the character development of individual members. All players who wish to roleplay with us are welcome, but please note that we are very strict about following server rules and do not tolerate trolling. SUICIDAL TOWN CRIPS The Suicidal Town Crips, also known as STC, started off as a clique for the Sons of Samoa gang. The clique was predominately Asian. During the 80's, the group split off from Sons Of Samoa and formed their own gang. The reason behind this was the gang-wars that started between the Hispanic gangs and the Asian gangs in the mid 80's. The majority of the members were Cambodian immigrants who fled Cambodia during and after what became known as the Cambodian Genocide. Suicidal Town is held together by a tight community of Southeast Asian youth and early adults who have replaced the generations before them. The Cambodian Genocide resulted in the killing of more than two million Cambodians in just four years. Fleeing their country due to extremely harsh living conditions, Cambodians settled in more affordable ghetto neighbourhoods in San Andreas County, primarily Vespucci. The children of these families were often bullied and discriminated against because of their race. With constant harassment from local Hispanic and African American gangs, young Asian men banded together to protect themselves. All known subsets of the STC gang in San Andreas represent the Crips. SUICIDAL EXOTIC ASIANS The Suicidal Town Crips are part of an alliance known as the Suicidal Exotic Asians (SEA) Crips. This alliance consists of Asian Boyz, Suicidal Town Crips, Sons of Samoa and Exotic Family City Crips. They are also known to be affiliated with the Insane Crips and some sub-groups of the 18th Street gang. Asian Boyz rose to fame after what became known as "summer madness". It all started because of a shootout that resulted in a member of Wah Ching shooting and killing Kicker, a member of Asian Boyz, in a pool hall. Following this shooting, the Asian Boyz went on a killing spree that later became known as "summer madness." The official death toll of Summer Madness is 42, but law enforcement officials believe more people were killed. credit: Let It Ride, Forever.
