  1. Just take the roleplay approach and "lose control of your vehicle" and slide straight into them, to kill them and force them to CK. That'll teach them. Yes I've had someone run into active traffic and nearly Darwin'd themselves under my Caracara, just so he could throw a snowball.
  2. This is what roleplay makes you do. To portray: [...] to play a role, to depict a character, person, situation, or event. Before the robbery rules there were people who used a fully modded blacked out Torrence / Buffalo / Sanchez / whatever meta robbery vehicle to commit armed robberies. The top speed of the Sanchez got nerfed because of armed robberies, and I'm pretty sure the Torrence too yet that didn't help with the robberies issue, it just moved players to the newest meta car.
  3. Interpreting != guesswork. As I've clearly stated before, its not guesswork for me. The rule for me seems plain and simple.
  4. I know of several players who even though they could easily obtain a CCW and/or just legally conceal carry a firearm, they choose to have nothing with them but a phone, exactly for this reason. These players are sick and tired of being treated like lootboxes. A) That you cannot shoot a player at all without typing out a /me of you doing so. B) That you can shoot a player, but cannot shoot them into death-state without typing out a /me first. I have no idea. And I've been here since 2020. And, no, I've never seen someone use /me to shoot anyone on GTA World. This tangent is off-topic as it has nothing to do with the robbery rules, if you wanted to make a point you should use something relevant. I also don't see how you can interpret that specific rule as being such as with A or B, because I interpret it as this. It is powergaming if you use a /me such as the following: /me shoots John Doe through the head, killing him.
  5. Its for the same reason why law enforcement factions can't just go down hard on any gang that makes a noise, there are rules and regulations in place which prevents cops from just steamrolling gangs.

    New shank rule?

I had been thinking of creating a prison character or possibly a Corrections Officer. After reading in this thread about the frequent stabbings, how they disrupt virtually every event in the prison, and the extensive time they consume, yet seeing many are adamant about retaining their shanks, it has me rethinking. It's steering me towards investing my time elsewhere, I'm not interested in every scenario devolving into a violent stabbing.
  7. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: Oh please, I wish I was getting paid by them. I've had positive and negative experiences with both the Sheriff's department and G6.
  8. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: When one of your guards gets shot and killed by the owner for trespassing and was clearly told he ain't got no contract with G6, that's the moment when it gets cancelled. If you keep on responding to a property to which the owner DOES NOT want you to respond to, you deserve everything that is coming to you.
  9. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: I already did if you read my previous comment, and it was "Dead men tell no tales". It's up to the Sheriff's department and the State to come forth with the complete picture of the circumstances. Which, keep in mind you, could take actual months.
  10. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: Also please don't tell me what I should or shouldn't do, I've hired G6 before and they're more of a headache than they're worth. Under-trained and over-escalating any situation they're involved in, they're incapable of handling anything with a little bit of stress involved without breaking down. Absolutely a disgrace for the security sector in this city.
  11. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: You do realize that this is "interview" is essentially a puff piece for G6 yeah? They're all claiming they did nothing wrong in an attempt to spin this onto a dead cop, dead men tell no tales. Their guard plead guilty on all 4 charges. FA 201. Capital Murder, MC 310. Trespassing, FB 109. Intimidating a Witness or Victim (Attempt), FC 707. Discharging A Firearm in Public.
  12. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: NEWS FLASH: G6 guard who shot and killed the detective plead GUILTY on ALL CHARGES.
  13. Name: WeNeedMoreOversight Comment: Obvious attempt at a PR spin by G6. Let's not forget that not only did Sheriff's deputies call the first shooting lawful, I'm sure that all 6 involved G6 will be arraigned. G6 clearly retaliated, unlawfully intimidating and killing him on his own property. As someone who has had some prior experience with G6 and has hired them before, G6 does terrible stuff under even the slightest amount of pressure. The fact that her widower was allowed to respond to the detective's domicile like that shows a clear lack of established protocol inside of the organization. I think it's interesting that G6 is using strong words in this interview, if I were their attorney I'd be telling them to shut up. G6 has shown their true colors. If G6 does something dumb and you legally shoot them, they will intimidate and get payback and kill you, and they'll defend their actions by painting you as the bad guy in an interview for exercising your rights.
  14. Name: FuckTeaDrinkCoffee Comment: I got a feeling as if there might be something that the public does not know, there's a reason why Sheriff's department called the detective shooting the G6 guard a lawful shooting. There's a reason why all 6 G6 personnel who were there are in custody. Time will tell, we'd have to keep a close eye on all the court proceedings.
  15. Name: SaulNotFuckingGoodmanAttorneyAtLaw Comment: Those G6 fucks killed my fucking client!
  16. It tells quite a lot about your mentality that you resort to calling literally everyone who doesn't want to be treated as a lootcrate as a "Mallrat".
  17. No one wants no crime. It's just the frequency that plenty of "legal roleplayers" encountered robbers was astronomical, and the quality of these robbers' roleplay wasn't always the best. There's a reason why these rules exist, and why this rule got a clarification.
  18. You'll see plenty of these characters if you roleplay a law enforcement character. So much so that you sometimes ask yourself what the point is investigating all these characters, since they'll just namechange once caught.
  19. Threatening some criminals with CK will not deter them at all. There's already plenty who take a PK or a CK to prevent themselves being caught by police. They'd rather change their name and roleplay the same gimmick.
  20. Yeah don't spin this around my guy, this is far more specific than you've been before. Your previous stance was extremely anti-social to even and I quote "abuse OOC situations". Using OOC glitches and technical issues to gain an upperhand is rulebreak.
  21. You might actually sound to be incompatible with the community.
  22. Yeah but could you answer the second half lf that post? It's a bit more pertinent to get to know your opinions on matters.
  23. They literally don't, any half decent cop RPer gives even criminals some leeway with any technical issues caused by the game or script.
  24. I hate that as well, if someone does /me rushes X, or something similar and immediately goes for a punch, it abandons any good RP that could've been.
