This faction aims to portray a mixture of both street and organized crime elements. The majority of individuals claiming the shot caller or ring leader titles within the faction itself have come from a defunct organized crime outfit and are now reverting to their street roots. The fact of the matter is that the mindset never managed to leave these character's ideologies, though they've come from grime and little else. La Mesa itself presents a valuable asset in the way that it could benefit both from an organized crime scene and a peckerwood presence.
If you're playing a younger character, feel free to portray them as a meth head, tweaker or a simple blue collar worker. We don't plan on gatekeeping any concept whatsoever unless it blatantly goes against the ideals that this faction aims to portray and push to those within it. FAIM itself was a peckerwood set that associated itself with the Aryan Brotherhood and espoused nazism and white pride, eventually though this faded in favor of a money-oriented mindset while still being under the Brotherhood. Additionally, Irish Pride, an earlier faction ran on World, is perhaps the best basis of organized crime that we're trying to portray. Grime, street, but still structured.
We want to produce something that can capture the essence of both and we're willing to compromise with people who aren't familiar with peckerwood roleplay or organized crime itself.
