I've had someone say I couldnt use my skin at a job IC because "my ped skin wasn't detailed enough" (Which I couldn't disagree more with, I find ped skins 10x more detailed and unique). Also, I could spend the time making a GTAonline character, It's not about laziness it's about personal taste, that's not gonna negate the fact I'm unsatisfied with the customization options and the fact that there's no body sliders, I don't want my character to have football player shoulders and a flat chest, I get that you roleplay those assets, but it's both an aesthetic and personal choice I make and I'm happy to see some people agreeing with that because I personally don't find it lazy not to spend an hour on a character that will look ugly either way.

Yeah I don't see what's wrong with "Doink" myself either, never roleplayed with them, but what is making people so upset about a man roleplaying as a muscley weight-lifter who goes into businesses topless? Those people exist in real life... If you want realism you must accept diversity and variety otherwise the server will get bland and stale real fast. As long as you're roleplaying and following the rules I don't see a problem with the way someone presents their character, that's just me.

I don't know of a stripper/escort character who isn't developing their character, my character recently bought a house and has a life outside of her work. Dressing skimpy doesn't equate to constantly working and I have dressed in a very similar manner to my character's skin in real life settings to run to the store, I have literally put on 6"inch heels and a cute outfit with my makeup all done just to go to Wal-Mart, every woman is different. My character, I can't speak for all, does have development and does have a goal and it's not to be an exotic dancer forever, I feel there isn't a very optimistic view or encouraging one for people using ped skins or roleplaying as a hooker or a stripper, even if I wasn't a hooker or a stripper I'd still feel inclined to dress skimpily, to me it is pretty and I don't think it negates the fact that as I have displayed bad RP behaviors before, my character's rolepaly and development is serious to me, I spend a lot of time on server developing her, it's not all about work even though that's an obvious important factor too. I don't really care if people OOCly treat me different based on my character or judge me ped skin because I think that tells me more about their RP quality then mine, but I wanted to open the discussion up since peds are neglected, some people don't even know you can use them, and some expect you to RP un-immersivley as a character you don't feel that portrays you (GTAonline skins). I would rather leave the server then ever use a GTAonline skin, I tried and It really made me self concious for my character. Also my character is Romanichal gypsy heritage so she naturally dresses more revealing, it's apart of her modernized american heritage for a woman to dress sassy in her family.
