  1. More houses saturate the market, most people currently can't really afford the houses on the canals either. It was first come first served - and the prices reflected that. If more houses are available, the market price will fall - less than week from when they were launched. That's unfair on players who spent the time to go there, search the area and buy at a premium price the 'limited' houses. Not only that, but look at the current number of unoccupied houses; There are SO MANY for sale - fill these up first before wanting more and more.
  2. The Vault, launched in 2013 is a premium nightclub based in the heart of Los Santos. The main entrance is on Strawberry Avenue and the building occupies the western half of the block bordered by Adam's Apple Boulevard and Vespucci Boulevard on the south-eastern corner of Legion Square in Los Santos. It is based on the Old Bank building in Downtown Los Angeles. Like its counterpart, it's an early 20th century building, probably a bank, converted into nightclub use. By day, the building is unremarkable but when the club is open the building is floodlit by yellow lights and this contrasts with the blue light emitting from the windows and doorways. The Job: We are currently looking to hire managers for the nightclub that are responsible for opening it on specific days of the week. The managers role includes but is not limited to: - Ensuring staffing level for that opening (Bartender, Security etc) - Ensure training of staff and uniforms (Bartender suit, Security outfit, Training for both and situation handling). - Updates per opening on stock opening levels and stock closing levels. - Payment of staff accordingly at the end of the opening. - Sufficient advertising during club hours. The Pay: We're offering a generous package regarding the management of the club. Per opening that you are managing you will receive 20% of the revenue generated. On top of that we are willing to provide a weekly salary of $10,000. Wages of staff, cost of advertisements will be reimbursed and is excluded from this calculation. (An example of your earnings can be 3 moderate opening with $25,000 revenue in the week + $10000 = $25,000 GROSS p/Week) THE APPLICATION (PLEASE PM): Name: Age: Any relevant past experience? Any criminal convictions? How many openings a week would you like to manage (1-ALL)?
  3. That's incredibly unfair. It's not necessary by any means, the RP at mirror park is sufficient. The effect on the economy may be insignificant for some players that don't really focus on a financial aspect of the server, but for someone like me who has a business near Mirror Park (That I literally got 2 days ago, and not made enough profit from yet to cover the costs) and also a house worth 300k, that's practically 600k of investment in Mirror Park. The reason the house was that expensive and the reason why that property was that expensive was solely due to the fact that they are close to Mirror Park. It's not about losing 'some' money, it's a lot of money. In an RP sense and realistically, property hotspots and social centers don't just deviate and disappear at a whim, therefore this issue is not faced by real life organisations and business'. If this was to happen, there must be a way to compensate players or offer replacements of equivalent value in the latter location.
  4. If the hotspot is to move then business' and houses in the area that have been purchased will lose value. The key factor for valuation was the fact that they were that close to Mirror Park. What would amend that financial loss?
  5. Oh yeah, then I definitely understand why you'd be against it. It's not meant to be used for that - only things that are relevant to that specific motion. I.E /me taps the table repetitively before screaming "NO!" or /me glares at John, demanding "What did you say?"
  6. I get that certain people might not agree with it - but I don't see at all how it can make someone cringe. It's just for clarity - certain things you do incorporate alongside gestures, for example; /me flicks off John muttering "Fuck you" If you still don't like it, then fair enough.

  8. Short description: A way to incorporate a system such as hunger/energy into the game. Detailed description: Just as there is a fuel system and a preexisting addiction system, there should be a means also of managing hunger and/or energy within people - if hunger/energy levels are not maintained people will start to witness screen effects (I.E Drunk one, hypothetically). I understand this may appear to be TOO RPG/Survival, but realistically this is to provide more flavor to different styles of RP. There are several restaurants, juice bars, take outs and cafes in the server but there isn't a specific requirement to utilize them aside for the sake of RP. If there is an incorporated system through which individuals are required to eat or gather their energy via coffee and whatnot, it'll encourage the usage of such locations as well as provide more flavor in RP. It doesn't have to be too heavy or drastic, it could be as simple as text popping on your screen advising you that you're feeling hungry, and as time goes on, if you do not satisfy your hunger, it'll increase - finally leading to your health going down and screen-affect to appear. Commands to add: Food items already exist in the game, perhaps a /hunger to tell you your hunger percentage. Items to add: Extra food items for RP flavour - Donuts, steaks, etc which satisfy different levels of hunger. How would your suggestion improve the server? It would serve as a useful economic tool, it can also serve as a useful means through which people can RP together outwith their regular/ordinary groups. Right now a lot of RP which is random is around Mirror Park, unless you have internal faction RP/Business RP taking place elsewhere - alternatively at night time there are clubs and other places through which RP is conducted. This will allow RP to be done more frequently in varied locations. I.E Mexican characters hypothetically would prefer to eat and RP in a place that servex mexican food and so on. Additionnal information: N/A
  9. Short description: Using /me to describe an emote whilst incorporating text within the same line. Detailed description: This will be relatively straight forward to incorporate. A lot of times, it makes sense to do one emote whilst incorporating text - such as /me scratches his think as he mutters "Hmm.." Typically what would happen is, you'd do the /me and the emote and then write a separate line for the 'hmm' or any other filter. By making it so using a quotation mark " " anything in between it is white - the colour of the normal text, anything outwith it is the emote, in the standard purple colour. This can prevent chatlog spam, concentrated and concise RP and better quality of text. Commands to add: N/A - Just adding a function to use " " at the start and ending of text within an emote and having it be a different colour. Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? This can prevent chatlog spam. Whilst at the same time contribute to concentrated and concise RP through better quality of text. Additionnal information: N/A
  10. I understand what you're saying. The reason I emphasized the fact that it is at the end of the day a game is because in real life there are no means to measure or quantify the saturation of drugs, weapons or any other illicit activity. It's dependent on your contacts, resources, environmental factors (Politics, Geography, Culture etc). By not having a system through which such a thing can be monitored leaves a huge gap which can inevitably be abused or not correctly monitored. What you mention as the bad things of official factions isn't due to the concept of being official, but rather how players perceive official factions. Which I agree with you, is wrong - that they depend on that and use it to join a faction and so on, however the issue lies with the people who expect unrealistic things from official factions. Not with the idea of having official factions. Internal arguments, people coming and going are a part of any faction, though they might be amplified in an official faction as they might experience it more often. I think the onus should be placed on the player to understand what being official means and understand the commitment and dedication required from them to enhance and develop their character further, rather than a overhaul or removal of the official system.
