  1. Would you like to enforce how many characters people type in /me too while you're at it? If you're curious, ask in /do. He probably did it like that because not everyone recognizes the ink of every single gang in the city and he doesn't want to spoonfeed metagaming material to half the server. If you think your character would know, by all means, go ahead. And only then if he tells you to get out of his /do's, report him. Simple as that. I honestly don't see what the fuss is all about here.
  2. I joined LSRP in December 2009 and had my fair share of experience, so let's see... Legal roleplay, so many more opportunities here. I've always enjoyed portraying fully legal characters (preferably having zero involvement with guns too, except for two characters) and I felt quite limited on LSRP. For a time, I did my best to promote it, but ehhh. The average player, seems to be a lot nicer and more level-headed here. Same point above, goes to staff too. I'm pretty sure every single one of us has at least a few unfortunate experiences or grievances with LSRP's staff. And of course, administration itself. I have so many negative adjectives to associate with LSRP's admin team that I fear I would be unwelcome here... I honestly didn't intend to leave the server, especially after having spent so much time in there, until otter came up with the brilliant idea to dissolve the city government. It was the nail in the coffin for me. I loved that faction and invested so much of my time into it, and seeing it get taken away because a developer said so, really broke my heart and made me lose my patience, my sympathy and loyalty to the server. It was very, very good, and very satisfying to invest my time into, while it lasted. But in its later years, the server was a mere shadow of its former glory. And now, it is apparently dead with 30~ players. I'm not sorry at all. A well deserved turn of events. It seems they finally ran out of players to mistreat, ban or threaten with banning. To all our fortune, the successor is even better than the predecessor. _________________________Nervous appreciation line begins here_________________________
  3. Everyone you don't know, who also don't happen to know you, no matter how relevant the two of you may seem, adds you as a friend on social media.
  4. Fully agreed. It's not exactly interesting to be in "the land of always sunny" all the time. Perhaps a little off topic but when the temperature is above or below a certain point on that day, perhaps a message could be displayed to players to let them know it's an exceptionally hot day. Not everybody checks the weather but I'm sure everyone's characters would feel this and be more prone to choosing appropriate outfits thanks to the increased awareness.
  5. Average relationship lasts 3 minutes or something Most of the people you know end up dying or disappearing within a year You can go anywhere in the state in 5 minutes Fuel consumption is extremely low
  6. What exactly is your problem with people who go afk? -If they're AFK harmlessly (alone, isolated, within permission of the surrounding people etc), it's okay. Plus they still serve the purpose of making the server look full, which is actually more good than harm. -If they're AFK in public, report them, people already get kicked for this. -If they're AFK and stalling a scene or undermining roleplay, guess what, report them. I get the idea and all but I simply don't want others to stalk how long I've been away. Plus the 2+ monitors argument from one of the earlier posts, which includes me as well. Only non-intrusive way I see this happening is through a command, which simply tells whether the player is currently tabbed or not. Then again, the monitor argument. There's simply no reliable way of telling.
  7. Name: Ava Comment: I had my nails done by Ella. She's quite possibly the friendliest person on earth; both the service and the aftercare are incredible. I'm definitely considering more visits for other operations, and would recommend to anyone else considering a visit for themselves. Thank you, Ella, for the amazing experience! Rating:⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
  8. What a long, exhausting journey it has been! I (finally) graduated from computer engineering in september 2020, somehow managed to find my first job in a week which happened to be in the testing sector. There, as a test automation engineer, I (obviously) constructed test automations. I got a new job just last month at the start of May, still in the testing sector, but this time as a quality assurance expert; which involves a lot of imagining/writing test scenarios and manually executing them, planning a test approach, ensuring that the project is up to certain standards... I like it so far. I absolutely loathe coding and aside from network/cybersecurity (which is what I actually wanted a career in) and testing, I don't know what else I'd do.
  9. coat/jacket too while we're at it, because why not
  10. First of all, thanks for the input. These are my counter arguments; I honestly don't see why this needs an RPG element to it. Trimmer for what, and making such a trivial/natural thing a donator feature? I mean, I would be okay with regular players having 5 hair outfit slots and donators getting like 50. But outright limiting it to donators just sounds terrible to me. It's hair guys, there's no need to overcomplicate basic customization. Having to buy a trimmer sounds a bit silly to me. It's like going to the barber in GTA SA with a fade, having the barber trim your head and walking out with an afro. You're also going to have pretty much every single person on the server walking around with trimmers in their pockets, which once again sounds silly. /makeup is a thing, you don't need to buy a brush for it and it seems to be working alright so far. As for the concerns regarding abuse... I mean, literally anything can be abused in the game if you're up to no good. Take cars for example, something everyone has. Besides, you can already use /outfit to change into an unrecognizable costume or literally put warpaint on your face using /makeup. I think your worries are misplaced. There will be players with malicious intention all the time and that's why we have staff. I want to stress it one last time, literally any feature in the game can be abused if you're up to no good! That shouldn't limit the nicer majority from having nice things though.
  11. Short description: hair and makeup should have their own slots from 0 to 20, similar to /outfit Detailed description: instead of the hairstyle you chose for that specific outfit (and a bunch of others from /hairtie but come on), you're stuck with those forever. but you can kinda wake up in the morning and style your hair the way you want. ok, this doesn't really apply to me since I'm balding but you get the idea Commands to add: (possibly) /houtfit 0-20 & /moutfit 0-20, /hair 0-20 & /makeup 0-20 Items to add: none! How would your suggestion improve the server? i mean... trust me, it improves everything Additional information: /hairtie is a thing so it gives me the impression that this is possible to accomplish rather easily. why not make it more fun for everyone?

  13. There is no justice in this world, not unless we make it –
  14. papi nervous has solved this
  15. this is the exact kind of comment I was looking for. there's a game called "papers please", basically you're a person who checks passports and you have to figure out which ones are real and which ones are fake. rather than the ID's having a "fake" affix to them, every ID should look the same and with a model like this, people who check the ID's can then determine based on how much they actually know about ID's I couldn't exactly relay what I have in mind but I think you'll have a pretty good idea if you watch a gameplay vid of papers please ?
  16. that's terrible, this should be a specific rule indeed. taxi drivers are more important for the server than you realize and a deterring trend such as this should indeed be prevented
  17. oh god please yes, and it's very simple to change too. that or allow both variables to work, pretty please
