The majority of our calls are GSWs and MVAs, whereas at least half of those are with people that aren't interested in roleplaying with us and put in minimum effort to get the scene done so that they can get back to whatever they were doing before that. Heck, it even happens that they simply AFK during our scenes. So yes, when we get a RP that's in percentage way rarer and more enjoyable, we'll let our faction respond to that so that we can keep morale high enough to prevent members from burning out which is a constant battle in FD.
-
Won't work unless you change the faction system in a whole for us. FD has four different employee groups Firefighters/EMS combined EMS Lifeguards Civilian Staff Going out solely out of online numbers won't work at all with how FDs structure is, which is one of the numerous reasons why we were removed from /onduty to begin with.

While I definitely agree that script support would be great, I'd also like to point out that I don't think it's a good idea to make the monitor be bright white. You don't want to actually cause these flashing images OOC or give someone eye problems. Some people can medically react badly on bright lights and even get in a seizure etc. I think it'd be better to make it black and just have a text showing up about how it would affect your character further.

Add /sp to all road and naval vehicle classes, aerial if possible
Airwolf replied to Triple Seven's topic in Archive
I don't think that'll work properly on aircraft as it may cause stalling unless the developers thoroughly test the multiple speeds to prevent stalling. -
While I don't exactly like car crashes, when looking at MVA's that I respond to as FD, or witness the behavior of people at scenes in a whole: most of them can be avoided. I think that should be hammered down on: people who are speeding right through intersections, driving way too fast on certain roads etc. It's nearly impossible to report these people because the nametag doesn't show up unless you're literally next to them.

One thing that definitely should be looked at is the performance around Davis. It's already often a FPS killer around that area and I fear for what may happen if there'll be an entire mapping project in the area.

Use the files from Baboon, they work fine.

Even if it wouldn't shift, it's still a nice feature to have. Being able to copy over the ID's instantly and into your own uniforms, only having to adjust textures or the likes based of the shirt you exactly want to use or the decals for your rank. Way easier than having to go through every single clothing item until you reached the specific ID.

I'm going to be honest here: I use QuantV, ENB and PRSA and I rarely get any texture loss now a days, so I'm not sure what the issue is? Before I only used VisualV without any texture drops. And then before that NVE with ENB until the trees dropped, which then I got a lot of texture loss / FPS loss. Now, my point is as followed: I don't think the lights are an issue if there are people experiencing texture loss at this very moment, so you may as well keep it that way.

Offering the starting bid at this moment.

Able to set up a meeting to view it in person?

Last year during the snow I didn't even experience any lag at all. The snow map is in the base game itself: if I recall right, GTA:Online goes full on snow during the holidays, so it's definitely in the base game and not a map mod or the like. There's also a specific weather for snow. On top of that, last year I don't think it was tested with the property weather system if it works or not. Even then, outdoor RP encouragement. The bugs, honestly, were pretty minimal what I experienced and the interior is generally something one should be able to deal with compared to the rest of the year, it wasn't even that bad from what I saw at the Fire Station interiors, could be much worse.
-
Detailed Description I'd like to see snow happening once more in the server. Last year we had it for about two days and then it got removed from the server for, if I recall right, that it bugged in interiors. We got a very simple solution to this: Make the property weather command available for everyone during the time we have snow in the server. It gives that winter feeling to the server, give us extra RP once more, give us that Christmas feeling that's coming up. It was amazing to see the roleplay surrounding snow, people actually dressing up for the weather and such. Relevant Commands/Items Giving access to the property weather command to everyone temporarily until the snow is over. How will it benefit the server? Give that unique atmosphere that we can't have otherwise in the server and give us the opportunity to roleplay surrounding snow, cold temperatures and the overall winter weather.

Going to be extremely honest here: I believe that the whole drugs system needs an overhaul in terms of risking an overdose. People use drugs like no tomorrow and rarely RP the consequences. So yes, definitely got my support in any case to nerf the positive effects.

50 words is a lot, honestly, especially if it's a very simple issue. LSFD already has a command to revive people who aren't in the full death screen but only the injured one.

Nothing wrong with my computer, really. Went around the airport, as usual, and I notice extremely different FPS in the area, sometimes even just looking a different direction causes it. No issues in other games as well. Uninstalled NVR and ENB, same area at 60 FPS where I had 144 before. Definitely something related to the update, not my PC or mods. Edit as example:
-
Uninstalled NVE, went to NVR and same issues as I had before: Major FPS drops where I used to get 144 before, to the point of 35-60 FPS at the same area.
-
Before these updates I received a way more consistent FPS, only having drops when going through more populated areas, even in Davis having 60-70 FPS and at the airport 144 with NVE. Now I can barely go out of the airport and get a FPS of 50-60 and below.

Make Kidnapping work similar to the Deathmatching Rule
Airwolf replied to LizziePup's topic in Rule Suggestions
While I understand where the suggestion is coming from, I don't see a feasible way to enforce this rule. Admins are busy enough as it is. It'd be much better to report those who perform a kidnapping for poor reasons on the forum rather than implementing a suggestion that would cause even more of a delay on roleplay scenarios and more pressure on admins that are ingame. -
I'm not too sure what the problem is. If you drive realistically, as this isn't a race, it rarely flips in my experience.
-
Something to keep in mind as well is that not everyone in FD is a Firefighter. Solely going out of the online/on duty count won't fix anything. This is something that's already an issue.
-
Transponder: I mean, I can see where you're coming from and I wouldn't exactly be opposed to it, but we'd need a way more in depth system than just a transponder in that case, such as where Squawk 7700 immediately informs LEO factions and the LSFD. I don't feel like it's really needed to do this either way. - Radio channels: Completely unnecessary. One ATC frequency does the job already and is often already barely used. Having to remember different commands for the same purpose is just overcomplicating it, especially if you've to write while flying. - SAAA offers positions to become a Air Traffic Controller. - Flight Rules: I'm going to be extremely honest here: You're overcomplicating it for the server. This is something that works in real life, but in-game before you get the information you need from that map you've already passed the entire island. Barely any of the information is going to be used anyway. We got airport diagrams which aren't used much either, because of how low air traffic is in the server: doing this will scare more people away from aviation roleplay than needed. We aren't a flight simulator. - Communications with ATC: This is already in place pretty much when a Air Traffic Controller is on duty.
-
I'd rather see a way that makes it easier to report people who are driving incredibly unrealistic. You've to be literally next to the person in order to catch their name for a report. Admins can't act if they don't have a name and generally should punish them harsher if they drive with over a 100 in the city.

The command is restricted to LEO/FD so the chances are minimized, indeed. Certain things have just been kept in mind in either case. If it, for some reason, proves to be too much of an issue with the current 90 ft I can support it, but I simply haven't heard of many situations that the limit was the biggest cause.
-
The current distance is 30 metres, about 90 ft, from the ground. Most pilots generally go too low on their own or those using the commands don't seem to know what to do in case they get one of the three possible error messages. As the one who suggested this command to begin with, and uses it very frequently, I notice that a lot of it comes with experience. While I don't necessarily mind increasing it, 200 ft is not needed either to keep it balanced as this command does add a lot of potential for misuse. In FDs Air Operations I haven't heard of many situations that weren't properly done, other than the pilot just flying below the 90 ft mark.
