  1. On LSRP we had the report formatter where all you had to do is put in a name, a video/screenshot and list the broken rule and it would automatically generate a complaint
  2. Provided video evidence of blatant and malicious rule breaking on multiple occasions, got told they can’t do anything because the player logged off. 10/10 would /report again.
  3. The LSPD is a municipal police department, the LSSD is a county sheriff’s department. Both are general purpose all around law enforcement agencies with their own specifications based on their real life counterparts. These two are the only ones you can compare to one another. State Parks fall under a park management system with State Park Peace Officers which operate within their own niche, a much smaller corner of LEO RP. Highway patrol falls within the latter category. Contrary to your point of “adding another team”, it would neither add nor detract the amount of police anywhere. The LEO RP playerbase generally remains the same, they naturally fill up where ever their personal interests align. State parks didn’t add 30-40 new officers, players who like that niche naturally filtered out from PD/SD with a frequent rotation and occasional new on-boarding. All a highway patrol agency would do is change aesthetics (cars, uniforms) and allow more people a chance at LEO faction leadership within a niche of LEO RP. You’ll see the same players who you find on the highway now.
  4. I’ll consider this when it’s not an absolute joke and it can be proven it’s not a waste of my time. I’ve been forced to sit in a 45 minute admin situation, imagine sitting in a forum report for weeks or months. Maybe if they brought back the reporting tool we had in SAMP.
  5. Imagine a public opinion barometer like a special tool that helps us understand how people feel about different things. Think of a public opinion barometer as a magical happiness meter. When lots of people are happy, the meter points to the happy side. If many people are sad or worried, it goes to the sad side. So, it helps us know what many people are thinking or feeling together.
  6. I personally feel that voids occur way too often
  7. Imagine if we had IV handling. I’d like it if we had more realistic driving habits. It’s gotten to a point where reckless driving is the standard, people are genuinely offended OOCly when you enforce IC traffic laws. The consequences for reckless driving are irrelevant for a lot of people, I once stopped a person with his 17th count of reckless driving and couldn’t care less. People will also drive around recklessly with guns and drugs in their cars, leading to a traffic stop, and often leading to arrests. But it’s never their fault, it’s my fault because I have the audacity of pulling them over after they overtake me on the incorrect lane doing 100mph while I’m yielding at an intersection.
  8. Just add a combat zone, problem solved 🙂
  9. Which is the state I'd be in if I had to pay 10K for a gunshot wound.
  10. Kinda hard to do when the script literally forces you to KO.
  11. Because people make enough to justify the currently proposed healthcare system. It’s hardly a sink if the money is being pumped back to medical roleplayers who already make bank (someone posted $70k a week) while getting shot would cost more than your true monthly income. My character would literally become homeless, unemployed and financially unrecoverable in under a month and I’d rather get banned for avoiding the system all together than endure all that BS.
  12. $5k to $10k a month? Are you out of your mind lmao. How much money do hospital staff make to think that that’s remotely acceptable to demand from people not to mention the offensive fees for emergency care. What kind of fantasy world or medical bubble do you exist in to justify thinking that people are remotely going to be interested in interacting with this system? This system literally only serves people who play this game 6+ hours everyday, players who amassed a ridiculous fortune or players who have above average surplus income. And what about the government? Is the LSPD planning on paying $3,200,000 every month for insurance coverage for its field employees? Where does that all money go?
  13. Paid healthcare is an entirely different matter, completely separate from medical roleplay. What is the purpose of healthcare in our game? A medical bill isn’t “healthcare”. And if medical roleplay is part of daily life in Los Santos, why do we want to punitively punish that roleplay with medical bills? Who will get free healthcare and why? Do corporate, government and city workers enjoy paid healthcare and what about Medicaid and Medicare? Some people have 7 million in the bank another a few thousand. How do you incite people to roleplay with the medical system while simultaneously robbing them?
  14. “TT-133 to control. Patient NC570442 secured… stimulants being administered - 70 milligrams dopamines, 110 norepinephrine, 800 fibrinogens…”
  15. This is generally why I’ll roleplay being unconscious until I’m put in the recovery room, doing other things outside of the game and checking to answer basic questions. Medical roleplay frustrates me immensely, but that frustration has nothing to do with those offering said care. Almost everything on GTA World is designed for people get to play this game 6 to 12 hours a day, they can do all these complex in depth stuff. Most normal people can’t. You log on to play a game but instead you’re shot, isolated from the rest of the server to fumble with Latin and latinized Greek terminology, put in the recovery room after a lengthy procedure and by the time you’re finally “let go” you already have to log out. It makes me not want to roleplay injuries at all, personally because getting shot means logging out.
  16. Creating an entire complex medical system is going to absolutely wreck everyone and help no one. I’d suggest starting with phases so people can get used to different systems over time. And start with improving combat systems. We’ve already added bleeding and basic injury types. Maybe with the medical expertise we have in our community we can develop an in depth injury system. Think ACE3 but for World. Lift the burden of players having to come up with medical jargon and spar with paramedics who speak Latin, and take away the need for paramedics to oversimplify their interest. You can build on that with our rules and add a post-care injury system that lasts at least an hour that prevents people from immediately jumping back into the fray but still lets them RP with relative freedom. Idk, just shooting shit
  17. I guess you have not read the part where we very carefully explain to you how it was and why the rule was made in the first place. The fact that you plan certain robberies for “quick cash” doesn’t mean others do.
  18. Doesn't matter if you're cautious or being considerate of your surroundings. During the robbery peak prior to the update you couldn't stand on the street without a car abruptly drifting off onto the sidewalk in front of you with 3 gangoons hopping out eager to rip you right there, or haul you into the car to rip you somewhere else. It was so indiscriminate and constant that it didn't matter where on the map you were. Walking the beach? Robbed. Spawning in? Robbed. Parking you car and walking to the bar? Robbed. We've had instances where one robbery crew would hit another robbery crew while that crew was doing a robbery. Robbing civilians became the number one method for "gangs" to acquire guns. Emphasis on the quotation marks, because it rarely was a gang robbing you. Any rando could join the server with a friend, buy a hammer and rob a civilian. Thus arming themselves in under 10 minutes, only to chain that to arm the rest of their group. Once they're armed they'll try ripping other gangs and so forth.
  19. Back on the old SAMP block if you fucked around you found out with a 7 day ban. And that’s coming from a server where the pinnacle of roleplay came from the incoherent hormonal ramblings of a 13 year old. Doing the same shit here would give you a 10 minute admin jail. Do the math 💀
  20. I don’t think a player report is anyone’s business other than those involved and a handling admin. In fact, I think complaints should be entirely private, the only relevant part is having a public ruling which would balance both privacy and maintaining transparency. If you’re so concerned about someone’s admin record you can ask for it, most factions do. Otherwise it’s literally none of your business. Focus on your roleplay, not the meta beyond the game.
  21. I think we’ve established months ago that this experiment has failed
  22. +1, I’ve never heard of a PKed player phone being used in an investigation for other unrelated crimes. There’s an argument to be made about using info for the murder itself but in all honesty, it’s in incredibly poor taste. There’s about a thousand different ways for you to find and connect criminal activity digitally. Fishing it off dead bodies is absolutely not it
