As a dude that's been racing on this server for years, this is utterly useless and Anti-RP. Your main argument I've seen for this is "modern gps" when in reality most cars you see racing down even have GPS so your argument falls apart there. Simply just learn routes through an IC manner and you'll be fine, just like how it is in real life. This isn't Fast and Furious 4 or NFS where they pre-load routes onto a GPS, there is no GPS that will layout a circuit type track out for you. Simply put, it will make racing more of an arcadey experience and not a realistic one. GPS's aren't installed in a lot of cars that are out doing runs and a GPS wouldn't be able to calculate out a proper course like that. This just ain't it bro.

Why are we even questioning what he would do in a shots fired situation even though he has had said the he's had YEARS of LEO experience from servers like LS:RP and RC:RP. Adding on to what homie said here, the fact that people are complaining about partnering up because "people just want to ride solo" is just a half assed response to me. It is rare to see a solo patrol irl, ESPECIALLY in the LAPD which the LSPD is modeled after (please don't get into an argument about this, it's fact). Partnering up is a realistic chose for LEOs and should be encouraged more regardless of disability. But of course in this case, I don't see the issue with just getting this man a partner. Just take the homie PLEASE.

The issue you are not understanding is that this is a ROLEPLAY server, what he is trying to convey is that ic'ly he wouldn't have these disabilities. Being deaf doesn't mean he is a paraplegic my guy, he can still play the game he just can't use VOIP properly. In essence he is the rawest form of a full text rp'er and you want to turn him away because he can't properly join a pursuit? Off the goop my man.

This thread isn't bashing communities, it is letting people voice their concerns on this particular area of RP and how we as a community can improve it. They aren't saying all of Blaine does this, but they are simply highlighting the problems and actively showing ways on how to improve it and backing it with real life examples. Also making a player report isn't going to make an impact if this is a community wide problem. I would be the first to usually say "handle this IC" but you simply can't when it is the base of multiple people's RP and character. People are raising these concerns because they care about the quality of roleplay on the server and you simply can't raise these issues IC. The community is simply helped by the information in these threads. If you simply think that this is "pointless bashing" even after people sited direct sources for their information I don't know what to tell you. Don't down play simple discussion on issues as "bashing", this is how we don't get things spoken out properly and we just have back and forth arguments until the thread is locked.

I don't see why it's so hard to understand why a glorified security company isn't taken so seriously IC. Don't even act like it is mainly a GTA World problem. It would be one of the hardest tasks in existence to find somebody that respects security officers. From the public eye you just seem like Rent-A-Cops and that's literally the same outlook that people have in the real world. As a person that isn't in a legal faction, hasn't had direct interaction IC, and hasn't meme'd it from an OOC standpoint, this topic on an already public thread for the LSPD is doing you no favors to fix your reputation. If your general issue was how you were treated from an OOC standpoint, then why would you go out of your way to practically faction bash another faction when you complain about the same problem yourself? It's just adding fuel to the fire. A general solution to your problem is fixing your issue from an IC standpoint, not an OOC one. Think about it like this, your reputation was plummeted due to actions that were committed IC, so why does it not make sense to right these wrongs IC? Instead of getting salty that somebody made fun of you, grow some thick skin and take it as constructive criticism. If nobody truly cared, then they wouldn't have bothered to even comment on your arguably childish outburst. Solutions I would recommend for your issue? Start an ad campaign, try to spread a new message of what the company is about. It is marketing 101, if you complain that people perceive you as people with dyed hair using the term "security officer" as an excuse to obtain a PF, then actively advertise that isn't the case. Enforce stricter policies like SD and PD do, everything from general appearance to character background. PD and SD require fleshed out character stories and do asset checks to make sure your character is up to standards and realistic. PD and SD look like actual officers, everything down to the haircuts to overused oakleys. There is a reason that PD and SD are upheld to a higher standard, so use that image as a guide. Start advertising more on FaceBrowser and do more with the community. Also remember your place, you are a private security agency, not Seal Team Six. Act like a normal human, you don't have as much power as actual law enforcement so take that consideration and be more laid back. Stick to your place like protecting private properties and protecting set people. You aren't public servants, you are private servants so keep it that way. All and all, your complaining in a LSPD topic isn't going to help your case. Next time you want a discussion like this, go to the discussion tab.

On Twitter I have blocked the entirety of the US Branch of the Military and have been blocked by many other people myself. You can still @ those people regardless of being blocked. Those posts would still go through, it’s just that you wouldn’t see it. This is kind of a useless addition for a fake social media site. If you want this then you might as well go the full mile and add a “muted” word option and start blocking people after every lost argument like real social media.
