  1. No real downside that I see, people could just as easily hit y to check doors if their goal was chain robbing. It'd be nice to not have to teleport in/out quickly to check.
  2. I think it'd be a bit annoying/cluttered to see a bunch of permanent floating text on cars like in the screenshot and it would probably not fit well when people are trying to do normal ame's or similar. I think the current system is fine.
  3. I'd be for more renting from players or something, the issue is I don't honestly think there's a giant market for renting as most people just own their cars similarly to how most people won't use taxi's even if it makes sense. Rentals can also kinda be abused like someone else mentioned and something like this would require there to be actual connections to plates/names and such, which I suspect would kind of go against the benefits for illegal rp that was mentioned.
  4. I thought it did save, would be nice to see it fixed if not.
  5. It's annoying having to do the drivers test for the 15th time at all, I don't really see why you should need to do it multiple times on the same character on top of that when you don't even have to IRL in the USA for renewals.
  6. I'm just going to lock this. We already have policies around this, if you see ANY admins doing something that is clearly biased then feel free to send a PM to me & Pillsbury with any proof. I don't care which faction an admin is involved with in the slightest and I apply the same standards to them, but we only can take action against things we know about, when people actual reach out to us and speak to us about the issues that they see. We don't need more forum threads to insult and go on about we hate the other side in the pointless OOC illegal vs legal war. Its obvious from the posts by the creator themselves what the intention is here.
  7. +1 the people who act dumb with them are able to be easily dealt with by the staff team. No harm in leaving them in for those who don't act dumb.
  8. I'm going to just lock this since its already became obvious how the thread is going to be. As far as the suggestion itself, while it has some good points like maybe not updating the color of cars immediately. The suggestion itself seems to be caused by a negative interaction with LEO factions which should be reported if there is an issue and claims that most cops don't actually roleplay/investigate they just metagame /id to see who is online and /trace which isn't really fair to say. This isn't commonplace and if you think people are going around /id'ing to just instantly trace then your welcome to file a report for metagaming/abuse.
  9. I'm not going to argue on a suggestions thread, but this doesn't really change anything. My point is, nobody is going to spend serious time and regularly RP in a faction where if given any chance of existing is incredibly restricted, not allowed patrols, and the primary RP is strictly to do a job on a military base. This isn't going to be a faction going in and working against riots, etc. I find it very very hard to believe a significant portion of people are going to login and go around a military base and go do /me works on an airplane or whatever various military job/marching for 3 hours with nothing else like patrolling, investigations, and everything else the other government factions offer that attracts people. There is nothing to keep players involved past the gimmick of this is a military faction. This isn't the port authority which you compare to. This is a completely different scale of faction and quality assurance not to mention the extensive recruitment process that would be required because of portrayal requirements. This is the literal army not some patrol cars and transport/policing related rp. Not to mention even the port authority patrols around and rps with the general public & businesses. People can vote yes and say oh this sounds cool, until someone is needed to spend 100's of hours planning a faction or when they get bored because its not going to be a faction going around LS doing military operations and would be incredibly restricted. Plenty of others have already noted the issues, and I already can see this going from "Passive military rp" to wanting to storm davis when there are riots.
  10. No. There's no genuine benefit to this as far as I can see and I'll be honest, with no RP other than being on a military base I don't see there being a ton of people genuinely interested/populating it because even if it was allowed which is a stretch I would be 100% against ever having deployments/operations/patrols and such. Nobody is really gonna go through bootcamp/training just so they can stand guard at gates or march when they could just go join an established faction. Not to mention the amount of people who we already have just acting kind of dumb with the whole military portrayal which often just comes off as trollish/cringey.
  11. No from me, everyone else summed it up fairly well.
  12. No. This is an RP server and making it go press y at points to drop drugs/make money as a script job is something a fivem gangrp server would have. I also don't think doing something like making identifiable crates for PD to recognize them as stolen goods is just low-rp. Just apply for an IFM scheme or go with one of the already many options.
  13. Odin

    Map changes

Contingent on performance not being majorly affected as said above. Nobody uses the mall I see no reason to keep it over this.
  14. No from me as well. This would only serve as a small bit of immersion for those in the exact timezone as the server while being a downside to pretty much everyone in North/South America.
  15. I'll go ahead and archive this, I'm not sure if you have us mixed up with someone else but we're a text-rp community we don't make episodes or do this kind of thing.
  16. I think this would be a pretty good idea. Realistically it's only 10 hours capped and it gives you the motivation to use jail as some sort of way to develop a character slightly rather than just logging out and coming back to the character when your out to rejoin your group with nothing inbetween. Increasing the RP for those in TTCF will also be nice. It's also a decent middleground where it increases the level of punishment/want to be careful with your crimes, but isn't overly punishing if you get caught imo.
  17. What's your reasonable proposal then? I find it unreasonable to tell 1000's of players their character will be deleted whether you/I dislike it or not. It's getting to levels of micromanaging that I'm not really comfortable seeing if we have to tell people they're not allowed to RP realistic characters just because proportions are off (and if they're unrealistic its an easy RPQM report as is.) I personally dislike the proportion a bit but it doesn't impact my character development because someone RPs having an accent nor should it. I RP a full born American that's a descendant of immigrants like most modern Americans, so its not like I'm even on their side here. The proper thing to do is get a notepad and draft a reasonable set of outlines that address the issue and put it in the suggestions area.
  18. I don't see a good way to solve the issue at hand. Banning people RPing anything other than pure American just won't happen and it'd require deletion of 1000's of characters on top of the backlash it would have from huge portions of the community playing these characters who don't want micromanagement. If someone acts dumb, RPQM them.
  19. good job @Brian3898 my favorite tekken player :salute:
