Despite his tough exterior, Kelvin struggled with a sense of emptiness and dissatisfaction with his life. One day, Kelvin was caught by the police and faced a long prison sentence. It was while he was in Bolingbroke that he had a profound spiritual experience and discovered a new sense of purpose and meaning. He became involved in a prison ministry program and was mentored by a pastor who saw the potential for good in him. After serving his time, Kelvin was determined to turn his life around. He left his gang and the criminal lifestyle behind and dedicated himself to helping others who were struggling in the same ways he once did. Kelvin started a ministry in his old neighborhood with the support of his mentor, the Koreatown Baptist Church, reaching out to young people and offering them a positive alternative to gang life.
