Short description: Allow us to use the old hair salon menu with a command, not the CEF menu. Detailed description: The old menu for setting hairstyles was a lot easier to use. The CEF is prettier, but it lacks several features and has several bugs that reset your current hair settings. This would be like how we can use /surgery instead of hitting Y at the plastic surgeon. Simply put, the old menu was a lot more reliable and did not reset your current settings. It also allowed you to quickly load another outfit without hitting 'save' to access the outfit slots. Commands to add: /hair Items to add: N/A How would your suggestion improve the server? The CEF is great to use but it resets a lot of details and lacks several features. Additional information: The old hairstyle menu at the salon was much easier to use than the CEF. It'd help greatly if there was a way to use the old menu. I've noticed these flaws/bugs with the new CEF that are a reason we need the old menu back, or at least these issues fixed: - Makes you hit 'save' to even get to the menu where you select to load/save an outfit. - Resets the hair color to black whenever you open it to change the hairstyle. - Resets existing hair tattoos when you open the menu. - Resets eyebrow style & color when you open the menu. - Resets the hairstyle it loads on Y on some occasions. - Can't go previewing hair tattoos as you tab through the list. You have to add/remove them individually.

There's no reason for this to be a script command/ooc request. This just sounds like you want CKs handed to you on a silver platter.

+1 If everyone else has to rp taking a rifle out, then why should law enforcement have it printed out for them? Alternative fix to this: rewrite the ass-pulling rule so you don't have to type out an emote of taking a big gun out if the opposing side already has one out or there's active shooting. Even the playing field.

There used to be a lot of houses in the canals for sale for about 400k-1.2 million. They sat on the market forever because there weren't enough millionaires at the time and it seemed like a ridiculous waste of money even then. They were pulled from the market a long time ago because of it and kept for the request system, I believe. And there is actually a tax for owning more than 2 properties. If you go to buy the third, it charges you 60% of the house's market value on top of whatever you're paying for it. So, say you got lucky and are buying a 200k house straight from the server, but it'd be your 3rd property, add +120k on top of that.

+1 Though if the house has an alarm, they do leave you a message saying "You have a received a message from the LSPD notifying you that someone broke into your house." It'd help if it also listed the property address.

Things like that are easy to get access to. Why remove them? They have tools for quick repairs & auto supplies in gas stations and convenience stores almost everywhere. Crowbars, lug wrenches, and random things that are way worse than hammers and bats.

I've definitely seen clubs & bars take the payment inside, at a little booth/front desk. Sometimes by either employees or bouncers/guards. And considering the gov bonus maxes out at 20k, it's unlikely that collecting it inside is even worth abusing. Collecting inside can also be a way to show off the interior & how busy/entertaining the place is, before you pay. So you don't pay $500 and walk into a disappointment. Anyway, if they can't place a sign with furniture, or just decide to do it inside, maybe they can use /createscene at the door to rp a sign with the price and avoid all this. Scripted door fees should really just be put back in place, honestly.

Absolutely not, because: Emergency logs. The kind where you have to pull over, vpark, and log on the spot. If you would normally never leave the car out like that to be stolen, then you shouldn't be forced to leave it out to be stolen because you had to log. The same concept as when you crash and the car is left in the middle of the road, stealing those cars whose owners clearly crashed is against the rules. Garages are BROKEN. You can drive up to a garage and hit K to "Despawn" your car, but when you go to get it back, it spawns in the wrong dimension/location every time, whether you go inside or outside. Large apartment complexes have existing underground parking lots, but there's no scripted garage point. So, some of us /vpark because it realistically would be under camera supervision in the underground lot.

The events happen at the exact same time. But the server time says differently. For example Vibe advertised the Garden's opening at midnight, but it actually opened at 11pm server time last night. That's the confusion. That's all. It opened at the same IRL time it normally would.

It's just one hour, I'd barely noticed the difference of getting more daylight as a US player. Would love to keep it, but it's making everyone confused and has thrown off plenty of IG plans already when things are set for midnight, and advertised for midnight, but really it's 11pm server time, and no one knows which one they meant.

This - I've been doing something like this and roleplaying it as the properly being available on an app like that. Some people rent the house and barely clock an hour of rent in a matter of two weeks. They're clearly too inactive to own their own house or rent exclusively. Others are more active, but overall, the current system allows all of these people to have a place to stay. Most of the time, they rarely run into each other. If they do, it can create some kind of RP. It's a flawed system but it works, otherwise plenty of people with low activity would be homeless.

On top of it all, this part of that update will make texting offline people very confusing: To make it worse, sometimes the game shows people online in your contacts when they're not. I've been randomly showing online for people recently, at times that I'm not around at all. My phone has not been stolen in the last 6 months so it shouldn't be bugging out like this.

And you're saying realistic plates are unrealistic. Sure, an admin could make someone change an obscene license plate but all the person has to do is swap out a few numbers or symbols, and now it's reasonable to keep. Seems unnecessary?

I've seen plenty of plates like "2FAST4U" and similar cheeky ones in real life. Some might be cringe, but it's completely realistic and people frequently get around programmed filters on obscene words by swapping numbers & symbols in. Real people, real cars, real bad jokes. People get away with all kinds of "unrealistic" things until someone at the DMV is bothered enough, and then they just pick something else that's just as bad. It only costs a little extra money in real life and is instantly approved by the DMV site, and on GTAW it's limited to a donator feature. Where's the problem?

Support, but also backing what Syrike & roozles said. Technology has advanced like CRAZY. Apps like Snapchat can broadcast your precise location in your own house to your friends, whether you're on wifi or regular cell tower data. There's high-accuracy GPS tracking now for most modern phones, though that starts getting vague when you're in an area with bad reception. Make it a varying radius depending on the phone.

Exact same thoughts as this. Plus, even though there's a lot of work being put into the prison, it's still not being run the way that it should. People who should be kept separate are being kept in the same area, for the sake of rp, with zero regard for realism. IE, juveniles with adults, low-sec or mid-sec people held with max-sec murderers, and greenlit gangs that'd be kept separate. Some of these people have to log off for their jail duration because currently, it's just unrealistic.

I have the same bug and it happens once a day or so with all menus like that: the regular i menu, the multi-interior apartment selection, safes, the old character selection menu, etc. No controller installed and it's persisted through several RageMP reinstalls & game integrity checks. It's a minor bug but it's been there since the beginning. The only fix is to just exit the menu out and open it again.

Yes please. I thought the initial reason for /weather was to sync it to LA, when it actually snowed, but the temperatures closely match some parts of Europe instead. The temperature on the server has been far lower than it has been anywhere in LA and surrounding areas, unless you're in the mountains, far outside the city.

I do agree with you on those things, but dealerships & realtors do the same thing all the time. They can resell a house or car without really putting much work into it, other than tidying it up and marketing it better. It's all about the demand. Plus, these characters are salesmen, not renovators/mechanics, and would usually lack the hands-on skill to "fix up" the property or vehicle themselves. They'd have to outsource it by hiring a designer for some minor rp (if they don't actually want an interior redesigned) or take the car to a mechanic for some car maintenance & detailing rp. That'd contribute more RP to everyone and make it more realistic and easy to tolerate, but I think a lot of people would skip it and do it themselves, which defeats the purpose. Either way, focusing on the advertisement part of this, it's just the easiest way they can do business, by listing it all at once. I never saw it as asset flexing.

They’re rping anyway while advertising & trying to make those sales. I’ve never run into someone selling a car that just does an OOC trade..? I think you misunderstood me somehow. And clearly if they have the cash to buy/hold a Vespucci house, a Pariah, and that selection of cars, the character IS a rich salesman, which is why that’s the rp job avenue they’re following.
