  5. Supporting this. We should be able to block whoever we want on discord if we don't want to receive/see their messages, should be common sense.
  6. You're not following. Writing a /me when attacking another player with your fists or pulling out a small gun out of your pockets will only lead to the other party metagaming that as soon as they see the text.
  7. Against. This is not a light rp server where you need to "warn others" so they have a chance to prepare their next moves. You can also already perform the actions of attacking in the game so a /me should not be required, same as pulling out a handgun.
  8. Let's not make rules with the assumption that everyone will use binds. Binds are frowned upon in most cases, especially /me's.
  9. And if the weapon is placed anywhere other than on the character then it should be roleplayed accordingly as expected.
  10. No one said we don't need /me's in [insert current year]. We're just stating a /me for certain concealed weapons are not needed since they're already on your character and your character physically pulls it out in the game where everyone around you can see it.
  11. Clearly, you're having trouble understanding what roleplay is even after James_Allison explained it to your fairly well. What is so difficult to understand that /me's are NOT roleplay. If you think for a second you're a good roleplayer because you can type a lot of /me's then you're severely mistaken and you need to come back from when you came from. Roleplay is all about your character and his/her story, emotions, qualities, flaws and being able to act as your character would while playing on the server. Now, to answer your last part, you're also severely wrong about "who shoots the fastest, it's who's accurate". In a gunfight adrenaline kicks in, you lose fine motor controls and accuracy. It's usually who tanks the more shots into the other person, but that's a topic for another day, just pointing out that you're also wrong here.
  12. Roleplay is not meant to be a fair and well-balanced game. Submachine guns are obviously better killing machines than pistols but that's not what we're looking at here. The size and whether or not they can easily be used for concealed carry is what matters.
