  1. Club History In the fall of 1990, southern San Andreas’ newest sport, golf, arrived in Los Santos in what was destined to be an important and influential manner. A group of dedicated and enthusiastic residents of Los Santos organized a voluntary association, which would lay the groundwork for the Los Santos Golf and Country Club, although it has adapted other names throughout the years. After nearly two years worth of planning, the club, based in Rockford Hills officially opened on January 27th 1992. Its Clubhouse, tennis courts and nine holes of golf has served as the club’s home ever since. In 1998 it rebranded itself as the Great Western Club and Golfing Society, otherwise known as the GWC. On it’s official ten year birthday, the GWC and Golfing Society opened up the course and played host to the great Los Santos Open Tournament in 2002, along with a record high of numerous charitable events held at the clubhouse. Reginald Berkowitz took home a grand prize total of $100,000 of the pool $175,000. Members of the GWC and Golfing Society take delight in outstanding golf and tennis programs along with a whole host of social calendar events. The club is registered as an oasis in the middle of Los Santos with members who appreciate the history and traditions of their Club. 3. Clarification would've served well in this case. Sten's player clearly character killed over his attitude to the server as a whole, which can be evidenced in the report I made, following what came to light. If your character killed themselves over crippling debt, that'd be understandable, however debts get paid during probate regardless, so it is what it is. We can agree to disagree on the other points. I won't derail the thread any further, if you'd like to discuss it further you can PM me.
  4. It's really not. USA's citizens fith amendment right, a stand-your-ground law, is a very serious and real thing. People die over trespassing on private property. Just because the consequences haven't been there before, doesn't mean that when they are roleplayed, there should be an outcry about it. It's realistic. People's characters who have been to the yacht without leasing it from @Thirteen rightlfully have received charges as such from the Police Department. That just shows the attitude that you have to the server. If people really get that emotional over virtual currency then it's no loss to the server if they leave.
  5. As Keane has already mentioned, Sten could afford the fine. He just didn't want to. To answer your question, if someone cannot afford to pay the fine, there is a debt system in place, which you can see either in /stats or on your hourly paychecks, however it seems management is afraid of using it for it's given purpose. Assets can always be sold off to pay for fines and this shouldn't not be a thing because someone doesn't like it. At the end of the day, this is a roleplay server and not Second Life. There would be, however I'm not going to force someone to stay at a golf club and ensure no trespassers get in at any given time. There's limitations to what we can and cannot do, expecting someone to do as such would just be ludicrous. Whilst there is advertisement in place, there's not any in-game advertisement as the club is designed for a specific class of people. This argument holds the same weight of players using the yacht. Ignorance is bliss, as they say. To the topic on hand, given my shift in what I've been roleplaying, this whole system is great for legal roleplayers who take it seriously. It allows straight shooters to hurt people in the only way they can, their bank accounts. I do wish however that we could use the system to its fullest extent and utilize scripts that are already in place. I'd love to see a court room mapped out eventually and see the possibility of live proceedings, however given the logistics of it all, I doubt that would ever happen. All we need now is for GOV to kick off massively.

    CK question

The only time you can appeal a CK is if there were rules broken during the process.

    Modern Warfare

Campaign is the fucking bomb. I don't see why they couldn't have done this the first time around, perhaps they didn't have the balls to do it, but I'm super glad they have.
