Feature Showcase: Rockford Plaza Mall General Information: Thanks to the hard work of the Mapping Team, we are proud to announce the opening of the Rockford Plaza mall. A massive thank you goes out to @Tiddy, who designed and mapped the entirety of the mall's main interior along with the unique new electronic signs and cinema display. There were so many people on the mapping team that has contributed to some of the shop's interior, and although I am not able to name them all (the list would go on), we want to thank each and every single person for their contribution. This has been an on-going project for many months now, and we've put a lot of time and effort into this. We're thrilled to provide the server with the ultimate hub for roleplay with a seamless and unique experience to access shops 24/7 to purchase merchandise and more. The mall includes a total of 39 shops coming in 3 different sizes - all to which have their own unique scripts, and most are able to be shopped within without having someone physically there to run the store. This unique hub includes clothing stores, restaurants, a plastic surgeon, a 24-hour gym, cinema, an iFruit store, and many more unique player-ran unique businesses. It possesses a similarity to a high-end mall in the central location of Burton, and is technically a four-story massive plaza. So no matter where your character may come from, it's an open free hub to access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is considered a no crime zone. (An exception is that petit theft of a shop may occur with admin permission, and should be a very rare occurrence.) The center of the mall holds a seating area along with the popular franchise Bean Machine coffee shop, and the mall also features a large food court. The main hub of the mall includes new unique furniture specifically crafted for this project by @Tiddy. The Rockford Plaza is planned to stay server owned indefinitely, but anyone is free to roleplay within the mall and it will be accessible to the public at all times. Mall shops are currently available under Property Requests for leases. They are considered special property leases, and provides a unique script to stock all of your merchandise which can be purchased by consumers 24/7. Map blips are coming soon to easily locate the mall entrances and this thread will be updated once they are implemented. Script Information: Scripts have been created for the shops, and will work similar to pawn shop scripts. You'll enter into the store, and can press Y near the store's checkout counter to access a menu of the shop's inventory available to purchase 24/7. I do not think that people's Liberty City characters should take up the slot of someone previously bought additional slot (if someone has 6 characters right now and deletes one, they cannot make another one, they will remain at 5). And I think that's just fucked up, People paid for an extra slot and now a character on another server (Liberty) that they might/don't want to play for whatever reasons are taking up the space for their purchased slot. I deleted a useless character I made for a now inactive faction in hopes of creating a legal character for the Port Authority, and now I can't do that because I'm technically using my additional slot due to my LC character. And don't say "delete your LC character" cause it shouldn't even have to be there. If someone bought an additional slot on LS then a LC character shouldn't take the slot of that, or at least the people that have PREVIOUSLY paid for additional slots prior to the implementation of LC. And does this mean that if I have three characters on LS I now cannot create one on LC? This whole thing is rather messy.

We have acknowledged the work they have put in and everything else they have done for us. From the position changes, we are welcoming our new State Fire Marshal Liam Madison & Assistant State Fire Marshal Richard Harris. Liam Madison has previously served in San Andreas and took a role of a Division Chief for Administrative Affairs and Richard Harris has been transferred from another station. We took our time to speak to our newly appointed Fire Marshals and get their insight on things they had to say. San Andreas State Fire Marshal Liam Madison A word from our new State Fire Marshal Liam Madison: "I'd like to thank my predecessors former State Fire Marshal Jordan Wright and Charles Sherman for their belief in me to take up the position of State Fire Marshal. It is thanks to them that I am where I am today, through what they taught me during my career with the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection. Without them, I'd never have come this far. Together the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection's State Fire Marshal Division will continue to go forward and serve the State of San Andreas." San Andreas Assistant State Fire Marshal Richard Harris A word from our new Assistant State Fire Marshal Richard Harris: "I am honored to have been called to Los Santos as the new Assistant State Fire Marshal and to be following in the footsteps of Mr. Charles Sherman. Together with former State Fire Marshal Wright he has reformed the OSFM and will remain a personal inspiration to me. I am looking forward to working even closer with State Fire Marshal Madison and serving the people of San Andreas while promoting the training, health and welfare of our employees." Lastly, Chief Lena Yeon has been appointed to the position of Commander of Administrative Affairs, while Chief Cody Parker has been appointed to the position of Commander of Special Operations. Both chiefs have served the San Andreas Department of Forestry and Fire Protection for over a decade. Out Of Character: We thrive on intensive immersion and realism in order to create an authentic vibe evolving around the concept we wish to portray. The characters and aesthetic this group provides are what makes this project life-like. The individuals within this group prioritize realistic traits, human emotions, and understanding that nobody is perfect. Mistakes are a common part of life. Organic and realistic character development is a necessity if you wish to roleplay within this group of individuals. The characters that involve themselves within this group, their life-like situations and issues do nothing but benefit this project as a whole. People won't be punished in character, or out of character for making mistakes. It is encouraged, as stated above. Drug habits, issues with not being able to pay back a loan on time, a smart mouth. Things of that nature instead of being a poster boy for the organization. It's all a part of the game. Character development should always be your first priority, faction development should be looked at as a bonus for your character's life. It will come with it in due time. This all started as a family business organization and slowly turning into an actual Drug Trafficking Organization with different insiders and outsiders.
