Detailed Description So one of the more time consuming parts of being a mapper as many will know, is finding the furniture you've placed so you can move it again. In the list of placed furniture it can often be drowned far away onto page 4 or 6 even when you stand next to it, and even then it can be hard to pick the right one. Sure there is a feature to select items with a click and that does work for selecting walls, but does not always work on placed items. So what I suggest is a command like /sf but make it /spf and it brings up a list showing only the furniture that is placed in the property by its name. Example: I type /spf lamp and it gives me a list of all the placed furniture near me that has 'lamp' in the name. Relevant Commands/Items /spf [furniture name] short for "search Placed Furniture" or "search property furniture" How will it benefit the server? Will reduce the time greatly that is swallowed up by looking up placed furniture and make a lot of mappers happy. -

A few things, first is the culture isn’t quite the same and most players actually roleplaying being from LC/NY as compared to a flood of European immigrants (at least so far). The dialogue is a little different as people are no longer portraying Californians or Europeans, they’re playing New Yorkers and a lot of them are either more loose with their tongue, more willing to “banter” as the Brits might say. Public servants look different and the culture of NYPD/FDNY is much different when compared to LAPD/LAFD, New York looks more rough and is a lot more lenient on appearances. For example, FDNY allows personnel to wear shorts, while LAFD generally expects everyone to look very clean cut and professional. In New York, NYPD in particular, a rough looking uniform shows experience and is a mark of respect for many. Also while the overall LC map is smaller than LS, that is only because of the exclusion of the countryside. The city itself feels much larger and more dense and it really feels like a big city to play in. Downtown LS only has a handful of skyscrapers that pretty much nobody uses, LC is packed with skyscrapers and large buildings and really has more of a concrete jungle feel (if that’s your thing). On the whole my personal opinion is LC captures that big city feel much better than LS, but LS obviously has no competition in terms of the countryside and matters unrelated to the city itself.

i hated los santos as a setting from the beginning. i just dont like the west coast and i never found a super good concept to stick my guns into. Its not just that its new, but ive been fucking around in LS for four years, and i honestly hate the setting. i dont like the clubs, hollywood, lapd, california or anything to do with the setting. its just kinda… boring. compare that with LC, new york, which has been a setting for a massive amount of media. the concepts are far more relatable, enjoyable, and I dont have to dance around the fact i hate a large portion of the roleplay. LC feels genuine. LS did not. sure its new, sure the magic will go away. but man is the setting just miles better than LS. thats my preference, it obviously is not going to be anyone elses preference if they prefer LS. and thats fine. but dont go hating on a thing you dont enjoy just because more people are having fun on it. maybe we just all got sick of the literal plague of terrible lesbian characters that acted nothing like actual lesbians and infected every legal faction imaginable.

LC hella cold, winter months its terrible weather, snow storms and beyond. Instead of sun 24/7, they have variety. Plus mob stuff i guess? LC would be a mafia holysite if they had those. LS still my home, long live LS supremacy

yeah liberty city is actually a fun setting ngl los santos has zero cultural significance and LA is boring and overplayed as hell in every roleplay community i quit regular gtaw, so did a lot of others. the factions were the same, the setting was overdone, the roleplay was bland. the characters were awful. in LC? even the crappy encounters are fun, fresh, and new. most people are actually from LC instead of some foreign country, and even then, it makes more sense for them to be immigrants. NYC is a lot more well known. you can have your preferences, but people thinking LC was a mistake are huffing quality grade copium. Its just a fun experience, which feels alien for gtaw, because usually we all play this server out of spite and leave with a bad taste in our mouths. but LC? its just a fun, cozy setting, with tons of shit going on even in small numbers. 200 players still feels full, unlike LS where 200 players will rarely interact with eachother thanks to the gigantic map.

Description Change the /ame lines used to scale with either the size of sentence, distance or be permanently set to multiple lines. Presenting longer sentences or multiple sentences on one line is pretty ugly and can take up a large section of the screen if there are multiple /ames at once. Presenting longer sentences through two or three smaller sentences can allow for greater detail in roleplay. Relevant Commands / Items /ame How will it benefit the server? Better screenshots / more legible scenes with multiple /ames. Example:

Yeah, Take Two has a lengthy history of making some pretty frivolous claims. If I recall they even got their lawyers involved because another studio made a game called “It Takes Two”, not to mention their attempts to claim commonly used words like “rockstar” and “civilization”, one of which is ironically the brand name for a pretty well known series of energy drinks, so it’s laughable to think they could claim ownership over that word. However, with respect to modding their historical strategy has been to issue DMCAs to mods they think will threaten their future content releases. Like when they DMCA’d some mods for GTA3/VC/SA in advance of definitive edition, or when they DMCA’d the original player made GTAV multiplayer client fearing it would compete with GTA:Online on PC. Granted, they issue those DMCAs and a lot of those projects end up getting revived later anyways once Take Two has calmed down. Case in point, FiveM and RAGE both exist, despite the fact Take Two originally opposed any multiplayer clients for the game. If Take Two wanted to throw DMCA’s at GTAW, they don’t need LC as a justification to do it, this is the company that DMCA’d a save file at 66% completion on GTA:IV (that’s literally all it was, was a save file for the game 2/3rds of the way through). That being said, for the sake of GTAW as a whole I sincerely hope they never do that. Liberty City has been the most fun I’ve had on this server in years, and I think it is a massive breath of fresh air, I hope it sticks around for years to come. I don’t think that hoping for the LC servers failure, or wanting to place artificial limits on it would necessarily equate to the further success of LS. A lot of people have been roleplaying in Los Santos for upwards of 10+ years if you include SAMP/MTA players, let people enjoy something different for the setting. There is only so many character ideas you can see play out in fictional LA before it gets stale and you want to try a different setting.

There's only one issue with it. Safes. If someone had a safe in there and lost the property due to inactivity, what really stops someone going from property to property in hopes of finding someone's hidden stash. Unless they de-spawn. If they will I'm all for this suggestion

I sit on this thread with my erp pfp with a very sus name and complain about illegal rp all day when I actually just erp in game all day and have a pf license with my /ex being "curvy in the right places"
