  1. To me it doesn't make sense that a 16 year old minor character has the same strength as a fully grown adult. Players that roleplay minor characters engage in fights with older, more senior characters and are not put at any disadvantage because of this. I find it crazy how a 16 year old gang character is able to beat on a 25-30 year old cop that regularly trains and works out and is able to do so on an equal level. Players who chose to roleplay minor's should expect to be at disadvantages of this, and means they would think twice about socking an adult in the face.

  2. Was a pleasure to RP with ya'll today. SWAT enjoy realistic scenarios that ends with everyone winning on an OOC level. Props to all parties involved.

  5. They CAN'T. I cannot stress this enough, the rules literally don't allow them to rob in other neighborhoods. You live in Vespucci, you RP a skinhead, you want to mug someone. Here are your options; Rob someone local, from your own neighborhood. Walk all the fucking way to K-TOWN/Morningwood and roleplay dying from a heatstroke. you're using a vehicle in an unplanned petty mugging for quick cash, unless admin approved; - The rule needs scrapped, COMPLETELY. Legal roleplayers don't need green / social zones (they literally barely use them at all lol), the poor roleplayed chain robberies just needs to be more carefully watched. I would be more in favor or something like other servers have, such as you have to have around 40 hours before you can go robbing people. This would honestly eliminate a lot of the poor roleplay experiences. The current "rules" don't benefit neither legal or illegal roleplayers, rather make it a headache for both sides because they're worded weirdly, don't have an actual visual map, brief descriptions, and don't make sense / contradict themselves. Scrap these rules and just focus on punishing the ones who do the low effort robberies and not actual illegal roleplayers, for the love of God.

  12. Detailed Description Quality of life improvement. Underneath the Faction Members Online counter, add a "Faction Members Onduty" counter. Example [17:56:54] Faction Members Onduty: 5 Relevant Commands/Items /fonline How will it benefit the server? This will save faction members having to manually count each member who has the onduty colour over their faction rank and name in the /fonline list.

  13. Hm. When I handle reports, sometimes there are players who do say hello to me or "<3" - or whatever. That's either because I've helped them in the past, or because I responded in a quick manner. It doesn't always mean I'm buddy-buddy with them - to be fair, 90% of the people who DO that, I have 0 clue who they are. I have to usually check their admin history to see their UCP name to figure out who it is. A lot of administrators on the staff team are approachable, which is what we're trying to create. So, a player doing that to them, might be a good thing. However, if you think biased was involved, I highly suggest a staff report as the others said up above - nothing good will come from a forum post. This isn't me trying to silence you or anyone else who is feeling this way, but as we also stop 'player witch hunting' I am going to stop 'admin witch hunting'. Please, please, please - if you want more insight in this situation - staff report. I don't want your one-time experience with a staff member to ruin your overall experience on the server. You may have not been given the full situation, or it may have been a case of bias - who really knows, that's staff management's job to figure it out. I am going to lock this thread, but please - send a staff report. Nothing bad will come from it for you. I also hope I shed some light as well in some areas of what you stated within your post.

  14. Let me start this out by saying I'm not a big fan of the current crime-zone rules because to me, they're an OOC band-aid solution for a multitude of other problems we see on this server. The crime-zone system isn't the system I would've choosen to tackle unrealistic criminal activity on this server. OOC crime zone restrictions are "anti-roleplay". I believe in freedom of roleplay, with freedom of consequence. If you want to play a methed-out sociopath with a hairpin trigger, I'm on board with your concept, but there needs to be as many ways for your character to be caught and punished for their actions, as there are in real life. If you want to be an ultra-violent gang, I'm alright with that, but you better be ready for an impending gang-injunction that can meaningfully impact your roleplay. We need to have more IC repercussions for criminal activity, not more OOC restrictions. The current crime-zones system is functional, but just barely. The fact that there's been a massive exception made for scripted factions is something I'm against. This is the kind of decision that is meant to please everyone while pleasing no one. I know that the intention of these crime zones was to try and target all the PUBG-shitters who usually aren't part of scripted factions, and for that purpose and that purpose alone, these crime zones are semi-functional, but I still believe that standards should be equally applied to everyone, regardless of if you're part of a faction or not. Rules that have all sorts of convolutions and exceptions are barely functional as rules at all. I take issue with the wording of the exception: The idea that higher standards are a "burden" is laughable. High standards in roleplay shouldn't be considered a "burden" so much as an expectation. If anything, we should be holding scripted factions to a higher standard of roleplay because they're the primary providers of illegal RP on the server. They're the shining star; the example of what illegal roleplay is supposed to look like on this server. If you're going to have OOC restrictions, apply them equally. Commit to those restrictions fully or don't commit at all. With all that said, however, I still don't agree with the system as a whole. I think it's made some difference in limiting the unrealistic crime committed by a specific demographic of players, but only that.
