  2. Basic Information Mosque Jochebed is a sole-purpose religious center for Muslims in South Los Santos along the Rancho/Jamestown neighborhood. The building serves as an historic vestige within the Islamic community of Los Santos due to the rich history its built throughout its existence. Mosque Jochebed is funded with the money predominantly donated by the Islamic Nation of San Andreas. History Mosque Jochebed, previously known as Rancho Mosque was commissioned by a local community of African-Muslim immigrants in 1954. Construction finished on July 16th, 1955. The building served as a place of Islamic worship for nearly 20 years. Mosque Jochebed was bought out in 1973 by the Islamic Council of Los Santos. The effort was mainly organized by the local Muslim community, led by the honorable Sharif Abdul-Rahim, a prestigious Islamic leader from South Los Santos. During its original stages in the 1980's, Mosque Jochebed was used as a place of guidance for recovering crack-cocaine addicts and families suffering from the ongoing internal drug and gang war in Los Santos. Mosque Jochebed continued to serve as a place of guidance for those in need for the following 20 years, and in 2002 the mosque had no other choice but to temporarily shut down after seeing a large decrease in Government funds since 2001. Earlier this year, in 2022, Mosque Jochebed was purchased by the newly founded Islamic Nation of San Andreas. The property was entirely refurbished, and Mosque Jochebed opened its doors for the first time in 20 years on May 27th, 2022. Los Santos Muslim Mission Mohamed M. Shabazz is a knowledgeable teacher of Islam, and established a strong following of Muslims in the Los Santos region of San Andreas. Mohamed Shabazz started a monthly magazine called The Daily Voice, which contains articles on Islam, contemporary issues of conscience and African-American Muslim converts. Mohamed Shabazz was appointed as the Grand Imam of the Islamic Nation of San Andreas in 2022, and works alongside the leaders of Mosque Jochebed. The modern concept of Mosque Jochebed, is to serve as a place of worship for Muslims in the Rancho/Jamestown neighborhood, and offer religious services to all walks of life. Shabazz's Muslim community has established a newly formed Islamic school for the youth, and reinstated the historic rehabilitation center for recovering addicts. With the growing number of Muslim converts, only time will tell the future plans for Mosque Jochebed. OOC Section Mosque Jochebed is a religious center for Muslim roleplayers. We aim to portray a realistic religious community for roleplayers residing in or around South Los Santos. Feel free to roleplay around us, as we're always accepting new members into our community. 4. After the survey, I do want to hear feedback on many different parts of the LEASING side of PM. Lease requests and vehicle leases. So far on my list of improvements: - Lease requests being more 'noob friendly' and less 'gatekeep-y' as you guys put it. This means we won't be as harsh in denying properties (unless a different applicant for the same property is chosen. If the applications are very close and it was hard picking between them in the team, we will offer the second applicant a different business of the same kind if we have one available). We'll also be more open to guiding the applicants towards more successful applications. The goal of leases is to help people get familiar with how to run businesses, what is in store for them, providing a more financially stable option, and most of the time an already mapped interior. - Vehicle leases will be open always. It will work like interior requests - it won't close unless I feel like we need to temporary close them, however, I will try very hard against this. (REGULAR ONES, not the Special One-Time Vehicle Lease Program as this is still suspended. @Selena and I will be discussing this further down the line and we'll be working closely together to make sure this is more 'improved', so you guys won't be as lost on what we're looking for.) - Ways for businesses to be seen/visited by players if the owners do not have gold/platinum donation status for the blips. - Tweaking the leases money wise - some leases costing more, some leases costing less. - Cracking down on car dealerships and making some sort of 'requirements' of what Property Management looks for when it comes to roleplay standards and quality. - Getting a leasing list out quicker than a couple of days before leasing opens. I want to try to let people know at least a week ahead of time what properties will be available. This isn't always able to be done, so I am trying to make it easier on myself through automatic means. Things that won't be fixed no matter how hard I want them to: - Lease requests will always take at least 1 week. This is because we compare the lease applications together and we give players 1 week to plug in their application on the UCP. We have the 2 week turnaround time for our mental stability. - Business blips will always be a donation feature! No changing this, please don't complain about it. The server needs money to run! I will add more to the list as people comment with constructive criticism, feedback in general, the likes and dislikes, etc. I understand that this topic will be a little heated because I do know some of you have frustrations with Property Management. This is us trying to see if there is a compromise available and to hear your angry pleas. If you are disrespectful to the team or to others, your comment will be removed and you'll receive a warning on the forums. This ain't a place for toxicity. You want change? This is how to express yourself in a nice, respectful manner.

  5. Detailed Description: The idea is for a system that removes the need for an admin to be present for any break-ins/search warrants. This would be possibly by turning certain furniture props, such as closets, drawers, sofas, whatever, into a container of their own, that people could approach, alike a safe, and put stuff in them, hiding them IC-ly. The issue would be that burglars could just go in and spam Y on every furniture item, but this could be prevented with a timer that stops one from spamming it. Moreover, people will have to RP it, and if found not to be, disciplinary measures can be taken, like in the case of a vehicle lockpicking. Relevant Commands/Items: Just the ability to press Y on a furniture item that's acting as a container and see the inventory, after properly role-playing searching it. How will it benefit the server?: It's not a perfect system, but it would definitely work and be better than what we have now. The time one has to wait for a break-in can get too long at times, and as such, this would be a good compromise to both save staff and player time. Of course, it would be prone to furniture abuse, such as placing furniture in the walls or something, but alike safes, this can be regulated.

  6. Once, long ago in a land far away, there lived four little characters who ran through a maze looking for dope to nourish them and make them happy. Two were mice named “Sniff” and “Scurry” and two were tweeker mice – mice who were as small as mice but acted a lot like people today. Their names were “Hem” and “Haw”. Due to their small size, it would be easy not to notice what the four of them were doing. But if you looked closely enough, you could discover the most amazing things! Every day the mice and the tweeker mice spent time in the maze looking for their own special dope. The mice, Sniff and Scurry, possessing only simple rodent brains, but good instincts, searched for the hard nibbling dope they liked, as mice often do. The two tweeker mice, Hem and Haw, used their brains, filled with many beliefs, to search for a very different kind of dope – with a capital D – which they believed would make them feel happy and successful. As different as the mice and tweeker mice were, they shared something in common: every morning, they each put on their chinos and chucks, left their little homes, and raced out into the maze looking for their favorite dope. The maze was a labyrinth of corridors and chambers, some containing delicious dope. But there were also dark corners and blind alleys leading nowhere. It was easy place for anyone to get lost. However, the two tweeker mice, Hem and Haw, used a different method that relied on their ability to think and learn from their past experiences, although, they would sometimes get confused by their beliefs and emotions. Eventually in their own way, they all discovered what they were looking for – they each found their own kind of dope one day at the end of one of the corridors in Dope Station D. Every morning after that, the mice and the tweeker mice dressed in their dope searching gear and headed over to Dope Station D. It wasn’t long before they each established their own routine. Sniff and Scurry continued to wake early every day and raced through the maze, always following the same route. When they arrived at their destination, the mice took off their chucks, tied them together and hung them around their necks – so they could get to them quickly whenever they needed them again. Then they enjoyed the dope. In the beginning Hem and Haw also raced toward Dope Station D every morning to enjoy the tasty new morsels that awaited them. But after a while, a different routine set in for the tweeker mice. Hem and Haw awoke each day a little later, dressed a little slower, and walked to Dope Station D. After all, they knew where the dope was now and how to get there. They had no idea where the dope came from, or who put it there. They just assumed it would be there. As soon as Hem and Haw arrived at Dope Station D each morning, they settled in and made themselves at home. They hung up their chucks, and put on their slippers. They were becoming very comfortable now that they had found the dope. “This is great,” Hem said. “There’s enough dope here to last us forever.” The tweeker mice felt happy and successful, and thought they were secure. It wasn’t long before Hem and Haw regarded the dope they found at Dope Station D as their dope. It was such a large store of dope that they eventually moved their homes to be closer to it, and built a social life around it. To make themselves feel more at home, Hem and Haw decorated the walls with sayings and even pictures of dope around them which made them smile. One read: Having Dope Makes You Happy. Sometimes Hem and Haw would take their friends by in to see their pile of dope at Dope Station D, and point to it with pride, saying, “Pretty nice dope, huh?” Sometimes they shared it with their friends and sometimes they didn’t. “We deserve this dope,” Hem said. “We certainly had to work long and hard enough to find it.” He picked up a nice fresh piece and slammed it. Afterwards, Hem fell asleep, as he often did. Every night the tweeker mice would waddle home, full of dope, and every morning they would confidently return for more. This went on for quite some time. After a while Hem’s and Haw’s confidence grew into arrogance. Soon they became so comfortable they didn’t even notice what was happening.

  8. Mirror Park Criminals 13 (MPC13) otherwise known as Dangerous Gang, is a majority Hispanic street gang, coming out of the Eastside of Mirror Park and there territory being mainly on Mirror Drive. Following them being apart of the Sureno X3 card. The gang is relatively new and untested, with little respect or even knowledge among their peers. They are associated with numerous reckless actions, for example, street gangs related shootings, thefts, and even homicides. This led to the attention of the LSPD's gang unit and other authorities due to there actions, following there commencement into Mirror Park earlier this year. Originally this particular group of delinquents didn’t always start off as a criminal street gang, or anything of that matter. It all started off as typical kids growing up in a poverty and gang infested neighborhood. They were mainly inspired by what they saw and experienced throughout their community in the mid 2017s. This group all came together as a small group of kids that grouped up as friends, to mainly protect themselves from daily circumstances and were mainly exposed to several accounts of violence like shootouts between gangs, robberies, cocaine booms, etc. In order to protect themselves the small group of Salvadorian and Mexican teenagers who had a common interest in heavy metal music, banded together in a tagging and stoner group. Many used the group as an escape from there personal problems, such as getting abused at school, etc. After gaining some notoriety in their local area they started calling themselves Tiny Alley Hitters and were often spotted with Texas Ranger baseball team tattoos mostly on their neck and hands. A few members also had TAH following a Texas Ranger well as an ink symbol to represent their crew. The Tiny Alley Hitters mainly hanged around East Mirror Park Drive, mainly hanging out at Juan Dávalos mother’s house, he was also known as Shaggy to the Tiny Alley Hitters. He was one out of five noticeable and reputable members of the clique. The other following three were Elias Evilboy Juderías and Ivan Speedy Camacho, and last but not least Leonel Stoney Baez. These four people are the most important people of the Tiny Alley Hitters movement and were often labeled as the early founders of the crew. As the group continued to build infamy around Mirror Park and the outside of Mirror Park, they caught the attention to another street gang in Mirror Park that went by E/S Temerario 14. The delinquents began to hang out with the E/S Temerario 14 after school leading them to hang out mostly all the time and build ties with them. Later down the line, most of the clique members got affiliated and joined up with E/S Temerario 14. The members that were originally claiming Tiny Alley Hitters and just joined up E/S Temerario 14, wanted to continue there clique and make it a separate clique in Temerario 14. This proposal ended up being declined by E/S Temerario 14, which led to the members feeling like they were betraying there history. Most of the past members of Temerario decided to split from that, and continue to make there own thing which led to the formation of Mirror Park Criminals 13. The two gangs have been bitter rivals ever since.

  9. Short description: Add an extra two face-blend slots what can be used to change only the skin-tone of your character. Detailed description: Add two extra face-blend slots which only change the skin-tone of your character, this allows more variation on faces as you can use the first 2 to create the actual structure of your face/head whilst the third and fourth sliders will be used to adjust your characters skin-tone. For this to work the sliders of the first 2 will need to changed so they only change the facial structure to that of those faces, and the 3rd/4th will need to be made only to adjust the skin-tone of your character model; due to this the two blend sliders will also need to be altered so they are only connected to the correct sliders. Lastly I recommend that the sliders for face structure are changed to "Face Structure 1, 2" and "Skin-tone 1, 2" just for ease of access. Commands to add: None, just two new sliders to the surgery menu. Items to add: None, just two new sliders to the surgery menu. How would your suggestion improve the server? This suggestion will improve the server as it will allow a wider range of faces, this is because we won't necessarily have to dedicate one of our face slots to get the correct skin-tone. Additional information: I've seen this used before in another RageMP roleplay server and it works really well and creates some more variety in character faces. Thus I believe that it would be a good thing to have in our own server.

  12. NEWS • Entertainment Written by Yunisa DELGADO-FLORES • May 28th, 2022 - 7:00AM The rise and rise of the Dead End Brigade Art, Ben, and Jojo from the Dead End Brigade talk with the Daily about their new song, the process behind making it, their influences, as well as possible plans for the future. The Dead End Brigade, live at Stooges. Art on bass and vocals (left), Ben on drums (middle) and Jojo on guitar (right). - Courtesy of Art from the Dead End Brigade. The Dead End Brigade, one of Los Santos' fastest rising indie punk bands, has been making waves in the national punk scene as of recent. A few months back they concluded their tour to New York City and are now discussing plans for a possible future tour. Within Los Santos, they're often booked for grunge-themed bars such as Six Rounds and, prior to their accidental fire, Stooges. However, they've also been known to play venues in West Vinewood such as the Split Sides comedy-club. Art, the lead singer for the band, and Ben, the drummer, joined the Daily News for an exclusive interview. Mags, the bassist, could not attend the interview due to scheduling conflicts Jojo, the guitarist, took part in a one-on-one interview at a later time. "Me and Ben been tryna do something for a minute, we known each other for a long time and a couple years ago we started Dead End Brigade, it took a little minute before it started taking off though." Art shared with the Daily's Yunisa Delgadlo-Flores. "I'd say we started gaining some traction like half a year ago?" Ben also recounts one of their first gigs. "Round new years. We played that one show for an MC then went silent for a bit. Then that's when we started picking it back up, yeah." Like many other bands' beginnings, it wasn't instant success. Art briefly touched on their experience performing at one of Los Santos' many night clubs. "It was just a failure. Wasn't the venue for us. Happens though." "I met them after I caught up on their music— plus, they had been playing at the Community Center here in Vespucci." Jojo tells the Daily on how she came to be in the band. "I been playing myself for a while but I never could find a band to play in, DEB was looking for new members and I gladly joined up. And that's how the ship started to sail, dude. "I started playing guitar when I was fourteen. I was really frustrated with the whole system and what not, being stuck in a strict family or work for some a--holes." Jojo shared, telling the Daily how she used music as an escape from an oppressive household. "I have four brothers and three sisters, three of my brothers are incarcerated— my sisters are all doing whatever they are doing. Politics, doctors, you name, the whole sha-bang. I graduated in becoming a lawyer myself believe it or not, but I just don't like being stuck to something— you know? "I don't like work for some a--hole in a suit that tells me what I can and can't do." The band's style is varied, taking inspiration from a bunch of different sources. As Art described, "All our songs kinda sound different from one another too." This rings especially true when Art's solo career is taken account, where Art's much mellower solo performances contrasts heavily with the raging rock rampant at a Dead End Brigade show. The Dead End Brigade, live at Six Rounds. - Yunisa Delgado Flores. 22nd May 2022, 00:10AM, The energy behind the Dead End Brigade's live performances can be summed up as loud, violent and thrilling. The music shakes the walls, the vocals screech through the speakers, and the crowd can cause an earthquake. As is common in punk, the mosh pits are frequent at their concerts. "Yeah, I know people ain't really listening at our shows, they just wanna go crazy and have some fun.", Art tells the Daily. "We try to give them that." "I kinda envy it.", adds Ben. "We should write a song with no drums so I can go mosh for a couple minutes" The band just released their new song titled Taking the Cure. Art and Ben shares their process in creating the track and the rest of their songs. "I was just sitting in the studio and, again, the lyrics just kinda come." Art told the Daily. "I just have to work out a melody that fit em. It's usually me and Ben locked in a room and working something out. He work magic on the drums. "Sometimes it go in that order, other times it's the other way around" When asked about any future plans for tours, the noted their large fan-base over in Brazil. Ben immediately suggesting that they go to Brazil, to which Art said their next tour will be kept in the US. "Yeah, yeah, definitely gonna get a summer tour booked." Art shared. "We got some comments about Brazil but we probably gonna keep the next tour in the US, too." "I love those peeps out in Brazil, they got a whole different scene going on there" Joey talked about her experience with international fans. "We've have fans all over. Brazil, Europe, even f---ing Asia— like, Japan and all that. "We're also thinking to do a more international tour someday, but for now? We stick in the US. And I mean like— The UK, Europe, Asia, you name it, dude." Their next live performance is scheduled to be at the Six Rounds bar in Vespucci on the 3rd of June.
