Caleb arrives at Morzae "Slicc" Watkins' apartment following a phone call from Soriya "Vicious" Banks. Morzae has taken an overdose and paramedics are fighting to bring him back to life. He's soon pronounced deceased and this causes both upset and frustration amongst the group. Caleb's emotions get the better of him resulting in him being detained. He’s taken into an interrogation room where he’s challenged on his affiliations with Rich Money Mafia and its associates, including deceased Jordan "JC" Chambers. During the interrogation, he’s searched and found to possess a gun, eliminating his chances of walking free. He's questioned about a Rich Money Mafia affiliate, "Tae", who LSSD OSS believe to be a female. Caleb quickly plots a fake story to cover up his affiliations with the real Tae. Caleb is given the opportunity to remove Tae's contact information from his phone, Ariel Shay towers over him, missing Caleb's sly move seconds prior. Caleb's anger and impression that he's walking out of the sheriff's station a free man tonight gets the better of him again, he makes an attempt but is restrained moments later. Caleb is dragged out of the interrogation room by Ariel Shay and Monty Myers, he's taken through the arrest process.

You guys need to realize that this is still a game. You already have to wait around a month or more to get a court case finished which is not fun for anyone. I had to wait 20 OOC days just to get a public defender assigned. Not to mention the OOC trouble that court cases bring which turns them into a big headache where player reports have to be made or LFM has to get involved. You complain about people renaming their characters but what do you think would happen if every capital offender caught a life sentence? Yes, they would just rename their character. And if your time zone is messed up you will just end up afking through your sentence or renaming anyways since there are no people to roleplay with. Deputies are already lacking with their activity in TTCF. Enforcing harsher sentences would just increase throw-away characters. This does not solve anything. Make a lifer character If you want to enhance the TTCF culture instead of shitting on illegal roleplayers. Some people find an hour outside their busy schedules to roleplay and have fun and they should not be forced to sit in an empty prison for 2 OOC months just because some judge or other party is lazy to reply on forums.

A new bail system along with a penal code reform has been recently approved by LFM after an extensive discussion, this is currently awaiting approval from management. Faction Video Competition 2022 - We have seen some amazing submissions this far, Los Santos Sheriff's Department keeping their cool in high tense situations especially when chasing a group of women, Los Santos Fire Department showcasing multiple sides of the roleplay on offer after watching TopGun and Baywatch, Hang Ten Adventures making their return to the server in style and offering their clientele a meal with killer whales, Our newest official faction San Andreas Motor Racing Association showing the server how they "roll", Prestige showing off their fashion statements and a life of luxury as successful models and are currently hiring poodles specifically, San Andreas Park Rangers displaying their hot dance moves, chasing fidget spinners and engaging the dangers of wildlife "Augh!... shoot it!", ULSA showing the daily lives of university students and some strange girls front-flipping down a waterfall, Los Santos Police Department made a great video matching real life audio with in-game scenarios and showcasing some high tense situations, nice job LAPD. All lighthearted jokes aside, every single video submission has been nothing but outstanding, all of these videos makes me want to get involved with each faction and regardless of who wins the competition I hope you're all proud to be a part of your respective factions as every one of these submissions gives me shivers and brings me joy to be a part of Legal Faction Management. The standard of roleplay overall has been exciting and fulfilling, where now we're somewhat of a family rather than just a usual co-operation. We gather together every so often and build general social roleplay and with outside friends and family, like creating small events like pool-parties, barbecues, gatherings and more. The creative roleplay our members have been producing has been amazing and it's only getting better. The main focus now is to be consistent and expand on the more public view for the faction. There is a culture issue on the server where people who don't want to be in jail but like to be criminals, see jail as an OOC punishment. And nobody has said what should've been said "If you play fuck fuck games, you win fuck fuck prizes." and jail or prison is that prize. And they get in and just name change, get right back out there playing the same characters with a different name. Not everyone does that, of course. But there's a lot who do. As long as that culture is allowed to exist, then there will never be a decent jail population. Couple that with the notion that if you stay outta trouble for X amount of time regardless of how many people you've murdered but don't quite have enough points to go to jail for life, your points tick down over time to nothing, and if you're active in jail, your time ticks down faster (I think. I know it did for a while). So you can't have a dedicated faction, if that's the case. Only people who want to RP lifers will RP lifers. People who get sentenced to life in prison that didn't start there, they don't wanna be lifers. And for them, it's easier to just name change. A faction can't function in that environment.
