  1. 08 March 2022 — General On February 2nd, "Evolving the Illegal Community Regime" was posted outlining the changes that can be expected under the new administration of IFM. I'll preface this by clearly stating that the faction system and the supplier system have not yet been revamped but they are still planned to be. CHANGES SO FAR UNDER NEW IFM REGIME SUPPLIER ENHANCEMENTS Suppliers across the board have had their amounts increased - this is however not to be mistaken for a supplier program overhaul as that is still needed and not yet complete. (Those that were bumped have already been notified.) PROPERTIES - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/70639-ifm-—-properties-open/ Reached a mutual agreement with PM regarding how the sale of faction properties should be an IFM matter, how properties coming in from illegal roleplayers through requests should be something that IFM can chime in on. Clarified the usage of warehouses and who actually has reference over these, primarily PM who will require those illegal roleplayers applying to show reference from IFM. RULES OF ENGAGEMENT - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/69559-rules-of-engagement-07feb2022/ An overhaul and simplified version of RoE which accounts more for gang roleplayers than it did for organized crime roleplayers and being more oriented around their development. This is to increase gang beefs rather than constant shootouts and warring. This was in the process for months before being finalized due to the contributions of illegal roleplayers in The Great Debate Discord. SERVER-SIDE MODS - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/70180-tattoo-addons-v1-—-suggestions-only/ Additional avenues of requesting server-side mods opened up for illegal roleplayers to make their experience more dynamic and based around their experiences for longer lasting concepts. EXPANSION OF IFM One of the most requested things we have gotten from players is how limited the IFM team is and the lack of people actually on that board to give input to the biggest portion of the community and in general understaffed. An additional role has been added to Illegal FM and will be able to be accessed by Senior Support+ who will begin training within IFM. JAIL INVENTORY & REMOVAL OF FORCED TIME - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/95-game-changelog/page/53/#comment-747657 Players will no longer be forced to roleplay within TTCF if they are within a faction script, and when they do get arrested, they will not lose all of their items, especially unique items, and these will be given back to them upon release. CORPSE BURYING & SHOVEL - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/95-game-changelog/page/52/#comment-735781 /cbury and a shovel item added to hardware stores for more realistic disposal of bodies and to compliment roleplay. This was suggested as in many cases it simply is not feasible to randomly throw a body into the middle of no where or get coroners involved and instead could open up further investigative roleplay for LEOs and the need to be subtle from illegals. FACEBROWSER MODERATION There was complaints raised up about the amount of posts that are taken down on FaceBrowser when they hint towards in-character violence or any kind of illegal activity, there is a very small amount of posts that actually remain up. A dialogue was opened by the Head of FaceBrowser Moderation, Selena, and she agreed that new rules will be drafted up to be more in favor of illegal roleplayers on the in-character platform. ADDITIONAL PURCHASEABLE IC BENEFITS - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/95-game-changelog/page/53/#comment-755531 We have had plenty of suggestions to not only expand melee items but also increase the amount of items that can be used within roleplay for more dynamic situations. This includes items that can benefit break-ins more than the "lock-pick and go" meta that is currently in place. 24/7: Ibuprofen (currently TTCF only, $350), Toothbrush (currently TTCF only, $50), Toothpaste (currently TTCF only, $50), Diet Cola (currently TTCF only,$100), Candy Gummies (currently TTCF only, $100), Hard Candies (currently TTCF only, $100), Chips (currently TTCF only, $100), Cookie (currently TTCF only, $80), Instant coffee (currently TTCF only, $100), Tea (currently TTCF only, $85), Jerky (currently TTCF only, $80), Ramen noodle cup (currently TTCF only, $50), MP3 player (currently TTCF only, $900), Energy Drink, Mints, Slushy, Plan B Pill, Ice Cream, Newspaper. Tool Store: Spray Paint Can, Screwdriver, Metal File, Fertilizer, Nails, Pliers, Bolt Cutter, Wire Cutte,r Crowbar (currently supplier only), Golf Club (currently supplier only), Drill, Handsaw. MELEE DRAW ANIMATION REMOVAL - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/95-game-changelog/page/53/#comment-755531 Primarily within gang settings, there was an increased amounts of conflictions of people pulling dusters to be confused with weapons due to the animations being the same. This was much debated and concluded to be a downside of using melees, as you're put against pretty much the same risk either way and illegal roleplayers are on the downside as a result. BREAK-IN CLARIFICATIONS If you encounter a break-in in which the inventory is bare, or you are more interested in the items that are actually there in furniture, you can ask for the admin to make an item for you, this does not delete the furniture. For example; dumb and dumber rob a spot in Alta, they roleplay stealing a radio. 1 Swan - Cream Retro DAB Bluetooth Radio ($1500) This may not happen in the majority of your break-ins, however it can add dynamics when there is an empty apartment when it would have items to take. Try and base your items off of what is actually there physically so it has a reference. You will not get mapped in weapons, and what is given is completely at the discretion of handling admins. MARIJUANA GROWTH SCHEMES - https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/54778-ifm-—-requests-board-formats/ This is covered under the next section as there is further and more detailed information to be provided - however the long story short is we will be now be giving out seeds for people to grow marijuana through schemes! — Drugs Methamphetamine has gone up extensively as seen in the below graph since we opened up schemes for people to cook their own. We are at a point where we have many regular schemes so in order to regulate the amount of drugs being created, we will be closing submissions of new methamphetamine schemes until further notice. Marijuana Growth Scheme This is a unique scheme in which Illegal Faction Management provides a player with X amount of marijuana seeds per 28 days for them to grow and then sell off. This growth process will be done via the weed farming script. Preference and priority will be given to current south central roleplayers, but not exclusive to them; there must be some form of interior mapping; seeds must not be sold off and are for the scheme requester's growth benefit only; someone who is a currently major supplier may not apply, but someone else in their faction, if applicable, may; you do not need to be in a faction. The format to submit this scheme has been added to the main thread with all of the other requests here: https://forum.gta.world/en/topic/54778-ifm-—-requests-board-formats/. This is a minor grow scheme, this is not a supplier role. This is simply to benefit roleplayers and give them more access to a script that is otherwise gatekept and further roleplay possibilities.

  3. ((This thread will follow the story and activities of Isaac Hamaguchi)) Back Story Early Life: Isaac Hamaguchi is a 3rd generation Japanese American. He was born and raised in Little Seoul, where his grandfather, Haruto Hamaguchi, primarily brought him up. With his family being in poverty and falling just short of the living wage, his parents were always working desperately, trying to keep themselves afloat and food on the table. Leaving Isaac when he was not in school with his Grandfather Haruto, a retired mechanic. His time with his grandfather was an escape from reality until he got home. Since he was so young, he didn’t understand that this was wrong; to him, it was normal. Teenage Years: In Isaac’s teen years, his parents put more and more pressure on him, when he did not meet their expectations, he was greeted with scorn and disappointment. He understood why but it made life hard. He started to become closed off isolated, and he bottled up his emotions to the point where he only felt frustrated. The only time he felt at peace was when he was with his grandfather. As he moved into high school, things didn’t get much better; he struggled to make friends and was often bullied for his worn attire; in combination with his home life, he could only bottle up so much and began to lash out, he felt like nobody understood him, whenever teachers tried to talk to him he couldn’t express how he felt or why he felt the way he did, to them he was just another troubled boy to far gone to save. The only person he could confide in was his grandfather, but even then, he wasn’t able to tell him everything. As the years passed, Isaac became emotionally detached, having no empathy, but clung to things that were most dear to him, afraid of letting them slip away. A constant emotional battle in his mind, on the outside he was cool and calm, on the inside he was battling himself, unsure how to feel, and unable to let it out. As the years went on the divide between Isaac and his parents grew. The more they tried to push him in one direction, the harder he pushed back, doing the opposite of what they desired purely to spite them. By the age of 16, he had been kicked out of his parent’s house, they were unable to cope with him any longer. So, he moved into his grandfather’s house. It was at this time Isaac found his enjoyment in cooking, Haruto teaching him traditional Japanese meals, and dishes, alongside this Isaac and his grandfather, spent their free time working on his Sultan Classic, his pride, and joy. As a result of this, Isaac began to excel in his metalworking classes and mechanical classes, discovering a keen interest in these industries. He obtained his HSD's (High School Diplomas) in Motor Mechanics and Metalworking. Life seemed like it was looking up for Isaac, but the hard truth settled in very quickly, his grandfather couldn’t afford to keep him. This began to show after a few weeks, Isaac would see his grandfather having smaller meals just so Isaac could have more, it broke his heart seeing the one person he truly cared about giving up his health, just because of him. Isaac asked his grandfather about their position, and why he wouldn’t sell his car and use his money to live happily. To which he answered, “To take away what I have had for so long, will take away a part of what makes my living happy”. Isaac felt useless. He was determined to help his grandfather, he felt guilty. He knew there were drugs being sold around his school, and he knew that the kids who did it always had cash, he wanted a piece of that. Isaac began speaking to the dealing kids, putting up a charismatic front. He began to get friendly with the group over time, after a few months they brought him into their little enterprise. They believed Isaac was their best friend, the truth was Isaac didn’t care much about them, they got him where he needed to be, that was all he cared about. When the cash started coming in, he used it to help his grandfather, buying food, water, everything he needed. His grandfather questioned where the cash was coming from, but Isaac just shrugged it off and said it was a support fund from the school. He kept this up until he finished school, he had saved up enough to last him and his grandfather a while. Satisfied, he took a step back from selling, his group wasn’t impressed but Isaac convinced them to allow it, reminding them that it was more money in their pockets. Adult Life: By the time Isaac was 24, he and his parents stopped communicating altogether, it was just Isaac and his grandfather until he passed away that is. Haruto became suddenly ill, he tragically died, leaving Isaac feeling isolated and alone once again. The government took his house back, the only thing that his grandfather was able to leave him, was his Sultan Classic. By this time his savings were dwindling, he couldn’t look after his grandfather anymore, it was only him. Like Haruto once did, he refuses to sell the Sultan, seeing it as the only piece of his grandfather he has left. Now he sleeps in his car, using the money he had left for food, and fuel, with it quickly running out he needs to try to find a way to keep on living.

  4. NOTE: BEFORE YOU READ THIS, THIS IS NOT A REQUEST TO ADD MORE SLOTS FOR NON-DONATOR PLAYERS. Detailed description: NOTE: ADDITIONAL CATEGORIES FROM THE STANDARD FORMAT ARE NOT SHOWN BUT ARE INCLUDED IN TEXT ("How will it benefit the server", "Relevant Commands"). I would like to see a system where someone could save outfits (or maybe certain clothes pieces) in their own property and/or car inventory. The reason behind this is simple, it's unrealistic having to buy the same clothes all over again to make a new outfit with , for example winter/summer periods or when uniforms are made with little changes to different types of uniforms. There are two ideas, one "expensive" scriptwise, and one "cheap" scriptwise: 1. The player should be able to buy clothes as items , not specific outfits. This means when you buy a pair of shoes, it appears in your inventory as for example: *WORN* (if worn) CLOTHESPIECE_NAME [VARIANT] - example: *WORN* High heels [1]. The player will basically have these clothes available to make outfit combos similar to how the clothes shop system works, but only with the clothes they have in their posession. This could also open second-hand clothes markets and other similar stuff. The potential flaws of this is being complicated to implement. The slot system will not be removed, as a mean of quick access and will still have donator benefits! The players still won't be able to switch their clothes and slots without visiting their property. This just saves them from re-buying the same clothes over & over again. 2. This idea relies on simplicity to code. The player can put and take outfits in and from their property/car. This does not mean gaining more slots, just saving and loading slots into a property. For example. A player will have a default wardrobe space (20 slots maybe, like the clothing slots ingame, or less). There will be three commands. /saveoutfit [slot] [slot] - puts the players outfit into the wardrobe on the available slot. Throws error if slot is not available. The player's outfit on that slot now becomes the default blank pattern one. /loadoutfit [slot] [slot] - loads the outfit from the wardrobe slot onto the quick access slot. /swapoutfit [slot] [slot] - swaps the outfits between the wardrobe & quick access slot. This wardrobe system is also not a means of extending the player's quick access slots without donation as these slots, when in storage, cannot be accessed when changing clothes. They will have to be /loadoutfit or /swapoutfit'ed in order to be accessible. This is in no means different than players writing down their clothes ID's and then re-buying them, but again, saves them from re-buying the same clothes which is not realistic.

  6. The Palmer Blocc Carson Crips (PBCC) are primarily an African-American street gang located on the West Side of Davis, San Andreas. Their neighborhood stretches from Roy Lowenstein Boulevard to Davis Avenue, between Carson Avenue and Macdonald Street. They share parts of their hood with S/S Playboys 13. Their cliques consist of the ABS, 300 Blocc (defunct), 900 Blocc, 1300 Blocc, and several smaller cliques. Carson Crips History The Carson Crips is a large umbrella made up of several gangs located along or in the area of Carson Avenue in Davis, San Andreas. The Carson Crips were founded by Mac Thomas in the 1960s and were allies of Westside Crips, which was led by Stanley Tookie Williams. Resentment of Raymond Washington and his Eastside Crips was felt by Mac Thomas' Carson Crips due to the establishment of an alliance between the Crips and the Piru Street Family. Nevertheless, the Piru-Crip alliance was short-lived and fell apart by the 1970s. In 1986, C.C. Riders (Carson Crips Riders), sometimes stylized as CC Ridaz, was formed as an alliance in Los Santos County Jail and consisted of all Crip gangs under the Carson Crips umbrella. The Carson Crips also shared a close alliance with sets in the Rancho area of South Los Santos. The alliance is known as the "Hub & Dub" and dates back to the 1980s, according to local law enforcement agencies. Gangs under the Hub & Dub alliance fought side-by-side against larger rival gangs in the Los Santos County Jail. Allies & Rivals Their allies include: W/S Rollin 90's Neighborhood Crips, S/S Playboys 13, Santana Blocc Carson Crips, and a few other Carson Crips. Rivals include: Tree Top Piru gang, South Side Carson Crips, Chamberlain Varrio Tortilla Flats, Stain Town Locotes 13, and Traviesos Gangsters 13. 5 COMMENTS How deep are these Carson Crip sets? by SanAngel83 December 8th, 2019, 9:12 pm 1. South Side Carson Crips 2. Santana Blocc Carson Crips 3. Palmer Blocc Carson Crips Re: How deep are these Carson Crip sets? by Lurk December 9th, 2019, 11:34 am All gang membership numbers are difficult to work out, but I do know these three are the three more "active" gangs in Carson. Palmer's numbers are a lot less today compared to how they once were during their peak during the crack epidemic, primarily because of their beef with Chamberlain Varrio Flats and Tree Top Piru gang. One or two of their cliques became defunct with a lot of their members either ending up dead or locked up. They're mostly active on Brouge Avenue where Almond Blocc Soldiers are fairly dominant, but other cliques are being overrun and pushed out by Piru gangs in the area. crips gang graffiti FRIDAY, MAY 31, 2013 Palmer block carson crip https://streamable.com/phwyb1

  7. You'll unfortunately find that it's not all roses. The problem is that script support is barely non-existent - sure, we get occasional updates, but compare that to what the community is asking for and has been for the past few years. We literally have suggestions that posted in 2019 that haven't received a response yet, including stuff that's super easy to script or implement, literally the smallest of changes. Same goes with rule changes - poor unrealistic robberies have been an issue for the past 5 years the server has existed. It took them 5 years (in real life, not IC years, real life years) to acknowledge the problem and come up with like half a page worth of rules that, granted, fixed the problem. You can literally decide to turn your life around and go from homeless to a career change and somehow end up as a senior software engineer owning a NYC studio worth $500,000 in the time it takes for "remove trucking components" to receive a "nope". Again, public transport has been tried on GTA World over and over throughout the years. There has always been some sort of attempt to revolutionize this and implement it, but no one wants to. Role-playing owning a bus company is boring. Role-playing as a bus driver is boring. Waiting for 45 minutes, once a month, to pay $500 for a bus to take you to work is boring. No one wants to do any of this. You're more than welcome to try, but it'll just become one of the many other failed attempts. I'm not saying this as "look at my opinion, it's unlikely it'll work out" but as a "look at the facts, many did, it never worked out". Do you any ideas of ways to actually implement this? To actually get people to dedicate characters to being bus drivers and to get people to engage and use the service? We already have it on a much smaller scales with taxis and it doesn't work. But bottom line is that we'll never get to that level of complexity due to practical (and OOC) reasons. We won't have a street presence of public transport - we'd need a bus every, say, 5 minutes, doing 60-minute rides, so you'll need around ~100 people on active bus driver duty at all times of the day and night to justify people not buying cars and rather using buses. We have times with 1-2 PD/SD/PR/FM combined online, how would we get 100 bus drivers? We'd also need for cars to cost at least 20 times what they do now, and for people to make 10 times less, so there's a real issue with transportation. We'd need insurance to cost 10 times more and gas to cost 100 times more and be charged on a daily basis. And all of this for? Public transport isn't exactly a social hub, you can't really role-play with people. You get on and off the bus. It's a level of complexity we'll never be able to achieve. It's just impossible.

  8. OOC INFORMATION: Rich Money Mafia is a fictional large scale trafficking ring out of Los Santos. This groups illicit activities include arms trafficking, drug trafficking, robbery, murder, kidnapping, fraud, and money laundering. This group was created by Jordan Chambers with the intent to distribute firearms, narcotics, and control the streets of South Los Santos when it pertains to illicit activities. It's believed that Jordan also known as JC is a well-respected and reputable member of the Cabinet, for those of you who don't know it's believed that the Cabinet has a strong hold inside the prisons when it pertains to the black populous of inmates inside TTCF and Bolingbroke State Penitentiary. Even though Rich Money Mafia is a fictional concept, we strive to portray a realistic depiction of a large-scale illegal trafficking ring. Every member of this faction prioritizes character development and faction development over anything. All content that's posted on this thread will showcase said character development that pertains to the faction and help detail the faction's development from 0 to 100. Rich Money Mafia’s leadership retains the right to character kill anybody aspiring to be involved with this faction. If you are interested in joining and need guidance when it comes to portraying your character, feel free to contact @ZaE, @kxrma, and @Crypto with any questions or concerns.

  9. It would be cool to see more jobs like janitors, construction workers, doctors, accountants, librarians, gardeners, bus drivers and literally anything that gives more life to the world. It seems nowadays the only jobs are being a bartender or a cashier.
