I truly hope whatever Rockstar does with GTA 6 (or some other community) moves the RP scene the fuck out of LA County/West Coast so all the realism crusaders can't use the same "research" they've been doing since 2013 and try to justify it as accurate. This is not to say I'm against the expectation of realistic role-play by any stretch of the imagination but some of it never adds up and you get people referencing very stupid things because "IRL". I just wanna see what people do when they have to research something else from scratch and can't use what they heard or what they read eons ago as pivotal points of reference. The whole "realistic role-play" mantra should be as realistic as playable not as realistic as possible because otherwise it just makes the game stupidly unfun for just about everybody playing it. And I'll give you an example: the tl;dr of social life in Los Santos for everyone is you can't offensively call someone a bitch but you can kill eachother over netbanging because the concession goes "well you can't do a bunch of things so we'll let you kill each other over dumb shit." Roasting someone IC will get you killed more than literal crime will. — GTAW 2019 vs. GTAW 2022 is a very stark contrast of how this server became hugely regulated for no good measure. For some reason it's the administration's belief that they need to write paragraphs upon paragraphs of rulebreaking precedents in in game rules instead of literally nothing. There are disproportionate standards thrown around for no reason — illegal role-players can't rob on a dirtbike because some weirdos can't RP and the staff would rather make rules around that than ban offenders; legal/cop role-players can't get shit they'd normally get because it makes the illegal community mad (it is incredibly fucking frustrating to deal with Property Management, for example, and justify legit finances, California Taxes, and a bunch of X is Y because Z because you're a cop RPer and "it looks bad if PD/SD/SFM/PR has ..." — by no means am I saying PM aren't literally GOATs for the work they do, but God damn it is it frustrating to justify your shit ten times over when others get leeway.) It's not that deep, just let people enjoy the game, and enforce rules on those who clearly don't give a fuck anyway. You know who the rulebreakers are. You know who the common violators are. There's usually the same names persistently in Player Reports, Faction Reports, and whatever else. And you know why? Because with some server openings on the horizon, it's my unpopular opinion that people are fed up, tired with "voided RP", tired with rules upon rules upon rule precedents of some rules because Money Davis or Robo Cop did something, and GTAW is gonna lose players in the face of communities who don't strictly regulate what people do and just reactively deal with the reports on bad actors instead. I understand you need to uphold a standard and I don't blame anyone for that. But you're being role-play police for no reason sometimes.

Drug characters and most homeless characters are always praised as unique epic roleplayers doing amazing stuff. But in reality 90% of then are horrible surface roleplayers and clout chasers who end up doing more damage than people realize. The vast majority base their entire character on a DEA drug prevention PSA from 1991, and are almost always young hot females DTF for a “quick fix”. The rest are bald Euro-Nazis who “1488” everywhere they go because the Method-man told them to. Some people are just walking YouTube videos.

High Tensions

Ban legal characters who serve no purpose besides ERPing and partying in fantasy land. Ban characters with “military backgrounds” unless they can actually show they have an understanding of what they are RPing. No more “7 foot Amazonian ex navy seal who discharged as a major after 2 years in the marines” shit. more broadly, your personal fun and enjoy Shouldn’t take priority over the quality of the server. GTAW marketed itself as a heavy RP server, if you don’t like “realism” or heavy RP or the gameplay associated with it isn’t enjoyable for you, you should play somewhere else. Server went to dog shit because we tried to make everybody happy instead sticking to the foundation that made GTAW successful in the first place.

Exactly what the title says. I don't understand why promoted posts are ever selfies or why they ever should be. Realistically Facebook promoted posts are business ads or events. Promoted posts in my opinion should really only be utilized for literally as it says PROMOTIONAL reasons. I don't classify as a selfie with your pixel titties out as promotional, sorry. I'm tired of seeing pixel ass that someone took way too long to edit as a promoted post. Sincerely someone who uses Facebrowser for business promotion and not erp.

Crazy White Boys and the variations on the name (Vicious Whiteboys, Insane Whiteboys, Dogtown White Boys) are all different versions of the same thing; White gangsters in prison or on the streets clicking up together to work more efficiently, albeit in the same loosely affiliated groups of homies, just with more organization and structure. They don't even have to be white power, in fact most are just peckerwoods. Not all of the gangs that share the name are connected, either. It's just a way of identifying your homies on the inside, differentiating yourselves from the unknown or the enemy, and a way of keeping contact once members get released to get drugs or other contraband such as tobacco or phones smuggled into the facility. This thread follows one such prison gang on the inside, led by Orville "Basher" Green and Charles "Chucky" Petrulio. The gang was formed independently, with no connection to other Crazy White Boy cliques.

There should be cat ears for males. We need jeans with even bigger butts. People should be able to just go to a closed mechanic and use the menu to upgrade their cars without needing to RP it. Highway Patrol, FBI, ATF, DEA, Secret Service and the Thot Patrol should be added as LEO factions. Upgrade Port Authority to be law enforcement faction, too. Cars should just autodespawn whenever somebody says "texture loss" in /b. Coyote packs should spawn randomly in the city at night, with aggression set to high. Speed cameras at all junctions which automatically take $500 out of your account if you go above 60MPH. Property is removed without warning if you don't spend at least one hour per day actively roleplaying inside of it (property management tasked with visiting each house ICly to check). Guns will jam if you don't buy a brush and type /usebrush [id] after firing it. Brushes can only be gotten from suppliers.

PKs need to be reworked to make a murder and its execution matter. The meta of faction threads and often heavily doctored screenshots is antiquated and rarely adds much of value other than opening up MG opportunities and creating unoriginal characters to fit into a faction you want to join. Mallrat behaviour is in great part a byproduct of the server's tight bureaucracy and hurdles for creative expression beyond wasting script money on assets. East Coast Hip Hop is better than West Coast Hip Hop.
