  1. *The website's quite plain in display, everything center-aligned: 'anotherdayinparadise.net.' There's a disclaimer at the top of the page that reads:* GRAPHIC CONTENT WARNING - 18+ Jackboots and shaven heads line the streets. The smell of CS gas and gunpowder's too familiar now. It's that time again in Los Santos. Following the deputy-involved shooting of Kyle West, rioters flooded the area of Davis Station. Video and photos are enclosed. Once more, PARADISE brings you the first real insight into the civil unrest. The images you're about to see are graphic. Video enclosed shows the entire riot from nearly the beginning to the very end, where it was dispersed. The medical status of the deputy struck by a vehicle and drug to safety by a coworker is unknown. 22:23 - Officers with the LSPD prepare for the worst. In the front-middle of all of them - The Chief of Police. 22:30 - Rioters line up outside the Jersey barriers that block access to Davis Station, armed and ready. 22:32 - First line of defense is breached and CS Gas is launched into the crowd. A stabber runs past me. 22:34 - Brief respite from the chaos. Both sides collect themselves for what's to come. 22:39 - The real hell begins. A frontal assault with bats and knives. A deputy is ran over and drug away. 22:40 - The second wave is driven back. Deputies regroup and form a line of helmets and batons. 22:41 - Los Santos Police Department SWAT arrive on-scene for medical aid and detainment of a person shot. 22:53 - Preparation for a flanking maneuver by rioters through the recreational park. 23:00 - Another frontal assault past the Jerseys. Uninvolved civilians arrive, complicating matters further. 23:11 - A man jumps past the flank over a barrier and begins a melee with his bare hands, not ending well. 23:15 - Rioters arrive in the park as expected, prompting another conflict that's short-lived. 23:24 - Fire Department crews work tirelessly to tend to the wounded while deputies safeguard them. 23:26 - The final line breach is handled. More injured are assisted on either end of the conflict. 23:34 - With the first Jersey Barriers reclaimed, the violence subsides. Street doctors help those outside. 23:36 - One of Davis's older residents (and best dressed) surveys what's become of his home district. 23:42 - A final huzzah for one man who made a grave mistake. He was hauled off after being beanbagged. 23:45 - A special enforcement team of sorts places a high value target of the riot under arrest. 23:47 - The fun's finally over. A lone Fire Marshal holds a side street as I drive out of Davis. In conclusion, protesting is good, rioting is probably bad for your health. Don't show up to a riot in a skirt and sandals. I don't have much more to add here. While this was good footage, it was disappointing to see. That's it, I guess. 3. I agree with this thread but I think we should take it further. Why not work to get rid of the entire staff team, they do nothing but contradict the metagaming rules on this server. If I DM your character, realistic or not, I did it in character. There should not be an OOC micromanagement telling me I can't mass DM the server for absolutely no reason at all, there should be an IC measure or a script limitation. Anything that happens in character MUST NOT be influenced or interfered with, by the metagaming rules, on an out-of-character level which is contradicted by the existence of the staff team telling me I can't kill everyone I want. Everything that happens IC, remains IC. All these admins are metagaming and I'm so sick of it.

  6. FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE GRAPESEED BRUSH FIRE, TWO INJURED 19th of February, 2022 LSFD Public Relations Member Jennifer Schneider GRAPESEED - A well-established brush fire quickly consumed an orchard on Seaview road, injuring two firefighters. At 21:16 on February 16th, 2022, the Los Santos Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire on Seaview road in Grapeseed. The first arriving fire company found a well-established fire in heavy brush with nearby properties under immediate threat. Additional companies were requested as crews initiated defensive fire attacks. LSFD responders immediately commenced defensive firefighting operations, deploying two Brush Patrol vehicles that are specially equipped to battle large brush fires, allowing a Mobile attack where firefighters attack the brush fire along with the patrol vehicle in tandem. (Title picture) Firefighters quick action and teamwork prevented the spread and further damage to the surrounding properties. 46 minutes into the incident and over 10 firefighters working under the leadership of Fire Captain Reinhart achieved a knockdown. 7. Pardon me if I make spelling or grammatical mistakes I'm on my phone. Instead of giving you sarcastic answer here's why we shouldn't do that. LSSD does indeed patrol in Los Santos and the county. This is possible because as per continuity the entire map available ingame is the entirety of the county, making it Los Santos County, so Blaine County does not exist at all. That crosses off why we don't and won't have a BCSO at all. In addition everyone apart of LEO factions are likely fine with how it's setup currently, and changing it would only cause a pointless headache that wouldn't improve and even further separate some of the LEO factions and their current connections. I recommend you read through server continuity so you'll have further context on how the server is set up currently.
