PILLBOX HILL MEDICAL CENTER OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - AS PREPARED FOR PUBLICATION - Los Santos, SA ~ Wednesday January 26th, 2022. Resulting from months of discussion, reviewing and planning, Pillbox Hill Medical Center will become the first medical institute in Los Santos to provide an ALS Paramedic program to compliment and expand upon the resources currently provided by the Los Santos Fire Department. The system is designed to maintain critical road-side medical assistance to combat the shortfalls for the Los Santos County’s EMS system, bolstering the reliability and efficiency of the existing system. The program will see an increase in the number of ALS (advanced life support) providers immediately available to the existing emergency 911 system. Pillbox began a recruitment drive early into the program to ensure our team had the time and resources to bring on industry professionals that will enable us to provide the service. The recruitment has been overwhelmingly successful, and the new ALS paramedic’s will be an invaluable resource. We welcome them to the Pillbox family and recognize their responsibility and motivations to deliver a critical service. We also announce that the service will start with two Pillbox branded ambulances in the initial stages, while demand is gauged, and the overall system is evaluated. These vehicles will enable the Pillbox ALS paramedic’s to be dispatched to emergency calls, in tandem with the service provided currently by the Fire Department. After an extremely successful first deployment on January 25th 2022, Pillbox remains committed and determined to only improve from here on and will the support of the Los Santos Fire Department and other agencies, Pillbox medic's can be deployed to help lift the burden on the existing services. We are incredibly proud of the team for coming together for the first deployment and we commend the Fire Department's assistance and transparency to work with Pillbox in this capacity. Pillbox will continue to work closely with the Los Santos Fire Department to review the overall success of the service, as well as investigate ways to expand upon it in future months should there be a requirement. As result of this process any non-public transport services (like taxis and private hire) have been removed and now unneeded vehicles will be auctioned to get more buses to serve you better in one area. The Red Devils Background Ninety-nine percent of motorcycle enthusiasts and the clubs they belong to are law-abiding. According to the American Motorcyclist Association. The other one percent consists of hard-partying, outlaw motorcycle clubs such as the Hells Angels Motorcycle Club, who claim that law-enforcement officials changed the meaning of "one-percenter" in the 1980s so that the term referred to members of criminal gangs. It no longer referred to only those who refused to live by the rules of society. The Hells Angels still proudly wear their one-percenter patches and claim that they are a law-abiding organization whose members share a commitment to biking and brotherhood. In today's criminal landscape; it has been common practice for the larger one-percenter clubs to hide behind 'puppet' clubs. While it is common for these clubs to butt heads with their overseeing club and switch allegiances regularly; some clubs have completely rolled over to survive. One such club is the Red Devils. In 2014; several chapters of the Red Devils Motorcycle Club were shut down in an overarching operation against Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. Tongva/Native player here. Native American in the case of Los Santos/California wouldn't be too striking, because at the end of the day Native American tribes have state recognition but really, their culture is too destroyed and eroded in the case of California to have given them the federal recognition other tribes in the country enjoy. At a glance, most Native Americans in California (unless they are heavily invested in returning to their roots and engaging in general "Native American Culture") would be fairly indistinguishable from say Latinos, particularly since many LS Natives have Spanish last names (from the times when the Spanish were settled there). One has to be careful and mindful of this when playing a Native in GTAW, in order to not just create caricatures that don't reflect native realities in the US/Cali/LS. I do miss having more South-east Asians particularly. I tried to make a Sikh but I found nothing to suit a turban, but I might in future try to play someone of that heritage again.
