It was a good run. It's evident and clear that people clearly don't like us being around, perhaps is due to how successful we were. It didn't take us that long to get to where we are neither, unfortunately although I was convinced by my folks to return, due to the 'change' that was to take place, me & the leadership have come to the conclusion that the server is not it. I'm not going to go out of way to bash people, factions, groups or admins, but there's a lot of room for improvements which is not being filled up, instead it's being left out to stretch into something bigger and more malicious. I would like to thank everybody for partaking in this project that myself, Skante Vida, Deadplaya, Authentic & Laced Up started up as a timekiller, which slowly developed into becoming the jewel of South Central, and hands down the best Piru faction to grace the server. We did everything in 3 months, and proved to the illegal community that if you've the dedication, knowledge and will to lead a successful faction? You can do it. However, I do find it unfortunate that the scene is split and divided. Egos stand in the way, and people cannot take Ls. I'll not spill any names, they know who they are. We've decided as a group to hang our rags. We'll not be creating another project, instead we'll be leaving the community as a whole. There's little enjoyment, fun or roleplay really that we can receive back from the energy and time we've invested into this server. Instead of gatekeeping the region, we'll be allowing other players who are willing to make the same sacrifices we did to open up in East Chamberlain. I'll be shouting out my people, alongside @ZaE for helping us create the B-Team. Big s/o also to Pueblos. Apparently there's little room for good quality roleplay on the server so we'll be making our leave. We did it once in Gage Maravilla & Hate Valley. We did it again in TTP. Unfortunately, the faction in its current form must close. IFM provided an activity warning multiple times to leadership and has seen no change. Due to the faction leader’s pernicious inactivity, the faction in its current iteration will be closed. We welcome anyone who wishes to take the mantle (within reason) to re-apply to reopen the faction.

I'm seriously hoping for the best with this, especially after the thread I posted a while ago, however I do have some reservations about a committee of only one type of roleplayer making decisions that will impact the entire server as a whole. I hope the feedback given through this discord group will then be passed on to a second, more neutral group, perhaps a selection of folks such as verified neutral business owners and managers, mappers, and fire department personnel (so that it won't be LEO roleplayers as "neutral parties") to double-check the decisions made by the first group and offer input and give pertinent advice where necessary, through checks and balances. I also have some serious concerns about the discord server that are echoed here as well, As I very distinctly remember a server with a similar concept, though unofficial, being used as a platform for tongue-in-cheek anti-semitism (which it got deleted by Discord for, only to be remade), homophobia, OOC planning/harassment, and raiding- who I, myself, fell victim to when the unofficial "counter" server was created and was subsequently laid siege to by "representatives" and "ambassadors" to this group. Leaving out names, because it's old drama, and noone should need to deal with it anymore- but that's a concern, if the server remains active after the conclusion of its usefulness to this topic. Let's not let a server like that go unmoderated again. All in all, fingers are crossed. This might be a step in the right direction.

Hello everyone, We'll be starting very soon a new concept on GTA World whose goal will be to involve all the players who want to be involved in an illegal related discussion in order to shape the future of GTAW's illegal scene. Multiple subjects will be discussed, and the goal will be to close the great debate with decisions & changes for each subjects in order to improve them, from illegal faction management to the supplier scheme & faction system for example. If the concept is successful, we'll try to do it more often even if it is very time consuming for us to manage. Step 0 : Discord joining You'll be invited to join a special discord & to verify yourself, we only accept players involved in the illegal scene of the server in this discord, as legal roleplayers while having a very important voice are already represented in other internal discussions we have. Our goal is to assess the real needs of illegal players. Once verified, you'll be set to participate to the next step. The discord can be joined at https://discord.gg/M4BWHBsRNv Step 1 : Voting for your representives We'll be naming multiple representives whose goal will be to summarize everything written in each discussions, ensure that there is enough activity & discussion in their subject and will have access to private channels to debrief with IFM & myself. These representives will be elected by all the players involved in the project, we are aiming for at least 5 of them. Step 2 : Confirming the subject list with the representives & players The subject list will be submitted and we'll discuss it to ensure that all major changes players want to see done are discussed in the various subjects suggested, if not we will add more. Step 3 : Discussing the subjects We'll be opening the discussions one subject at a time during 24 hours for everyone to debate it, which will be followed by a summary from the representives that will be posted and sent to myself & IFM. The next subject will then be opened for 24 hours, etc. If we believe that some subjects needs to be rediscussed following internal discussions, we'll be re-opening past subjects. Step 4 : Review of all the debates & summaries I'll be personally first reviewing everything and start drafting measures & an action plan to change the server in order to improve it for illegal roleplayers. There might be major revamp especially when it comes to the faction system (the goal in one of the subjects will be for example to finally finish, or not, the tiering system), or suppliers, or even the IFM team concept / work. Once I'll be done with the review, I'll submit my action plan for discussion with all the administration team and debate it with them. Step 5 : Publishing the action plan The action plan that I'll have written will be published publicly for all players to read. Rules : Toxicity is fully forbidden on the discord. Getting verified with a character that isn't yours will be punished. Spamming or writing useless sentences will lead to a ban from the discord. Writing stupid comments or non constructive comments during the debate will lead to a ban from the discord.

Maybe they hide in interiors because there isn't really much for them to do if they don't like clubs or bars? If you roleplay a trucker, you're despised by the whole server even if you're a good trucker and robbers make a beeline to you. If you're anything else that's unpopular you're labelled a lesbian or mallrat, just as you have done. If you're not part of an ooc group already, any civilian characters that are actually interesting usually go under the radar because of all the dumb shit that goes on. Besides that, there's not a whole lot for civilian characters to do that doesn't involve clubs, bars or casinos. All of those are boring af to me, might be good for networking but I prefer roleplaying with small groups of people where I can actually keep up with rp as opposed to the spam you get in these places.

i think thats the point brozzer. yes, a lot of factions police themselves... and guess what? they're still shit. so why are they given exclusivity to discussions that will have consequences on everyone else? having the existing community decide on representatives will just push the popular people in bad factions to the top
