  1. Feature Showcase: Twin Tower Correctional Facility - Rework General Information: Albeit sometimes quiet, the Los Santos Sheriff's Department Custody Division has been working diligently to bring you all a much awaited update. The new Twin Towers Correctional Facilities is based on the real life equivalent of the facility, and we worked alongside the inmates council to propel this project. We would like to thank all those involved in the project, particularly with regards to the remap, including @L I C E and @tired!, for the mapping itself, and @MomoIsHere and @rasbruu, for leading the remap from an administrative standpoint, without which we would not be able to complete such a feat, alongside everyone else that put in innumerable hours into this. We would also like to thank all the players for creating such a unique and enjoyable roleplay atmosphere within the Twin Towers Correctional Facilities, the work and effort that you all put in has massively changed the experience for the illegal community. Any questions or suggestions are to be directed to @Stephen. Within the project, the following suggestions have been implemented: - Double housing in isolation - A new Protective Custody Housing (PC) - More detailed cellrooms. - Segregate minors (will be sent to PC) - Trustee System: a working and scripted trustee system revolving around inmate jobs - Gang Units Investigating Gang Affiliation In Jail - Programs for inmates in the facility - Health Check-ups (contract with PHMC) - More strictness on prison uniforms/clothing (Volume in the CMD for deputies) - A new library - A new mess hall - An entirely new pod area + seperate yards for A and B Pod. - More guard bubbles and staff-areas near inmate housing for CO's to occupy. - A very small workshop room in each pod until the actual workshop is finished being mapped. More things will be slowly added to this new and improved version of the prison in the future, such as a labor workshop, a new version of the showers and a new sally port. The goal is to improve the still existing bits and pieces from the old version of TTCF that made it into this new version. I also want to thank you all for waiting patiently for this long awaited rework. With that said, here is the finished product and also it's IRL equivalent below. Remap: IRL Equivalent:

  2. Jordan Downs In the mid-1950s, the city of Los Santos developed a subsidized housing project to aid residents in Rancho, a community in southern Los Santos crippled by numerous socio-economic disadvantages. Known as the Jordan Downs Projects, the buildings are home to a large population of African-American and Hispanic-Americans who share similar struggles with poverty and racial discrimination. Over time, the housing projects fell into disrepair due to government neglect. Crime rates in the area skyrocketed as residents turned to illegal activities to supplement their incomes with the hope of making it out of the projects. In addition to the poor living conditions, a long history of alleged police abuse has resulted in tensions with law enforcement throughout the community. With a lack of opportunities available for its disenfranchised residents and their deep-seated distrust in authority, the Jordan Downs quickly earned a reputation as a breeding ground for crime, violence, and gangs. Police records reveal that a large percentage of the crimes reported in Rancho can be linked back to the young gang members who have established a stronghold and claimed the projects as territory. Of the gangs that dominate the Jordan Downs, there are two that stand apart - Grape Street Crips and Rancho Varrio Grape. 03 Locs The Grape Street Crips (also known as Rancho Baby Loc Crips) are a predominantly African-American street gang based in the Jordan Downs. The Grape Street Crips have been featured in various television shows and documentaries including “Crips and Bloods: Made in America”, “Dead Homies”, and “Gangland”, making them one of the most well-documented gangs in Los Santos. The Jordan Downs is home to several up-and-coming recording artists, many of whom are affiliated with the Grape Street Crips. In modern times, the Grape Street Crips consist of a large number of members, most of them still in their early ages. These young affiliated members don’t let youth change any of the actions they commit, they can regularly be seen accomplishing a variation of crimes. The main one being drug distribution, however. Rapping is one of the gangs main ways of income, providing for most of the firearms being given to the younger generation. Grape Street Crips can regularly be seen sporting purple to show their affiliation to Grape Street, they don’t sport the regular blue flag that Crips normally wear. Due to the long going beef with PJ Rancho Crips. As Bounty Hunter Rancho Bloods and PJ Rancho Crips went defunct, Grape Street began thriving once again. Roadrunner Both gangs, Bounty Hunter Rancho Bloods and Grape Street are reputable for beefing & loving each other at the same time. To this day, it's been documented that Grape Street Crip and Bounty Hunter Blood members tend to start families with one another. A lot of infighting occurs in Grape Street Crip, Bounty Hunter Bloods & PJ Rancho Crip hoods because they are the largest controlling gangs in Rancho. The infighting usually starts over females, it is way too common. An example of this that is documented was the shooting of 03 Greedo, he was shot in the leg by a female due to his infidelity. Green Grape And unlike other LS gangs who are spiteful of out of state Crips & Bloods. The Grape Street Crips embrace every Grape Street Crip hood outside of Rancho. It's common to find someone who got put on Grape Street in New Jersey, Louisiana, Memphis etc roaming around the projects. Also due to the large connections throughout the USA this makes it way easier for the Grapes to traffic drugs. Creating a large network. Gutta Gang Formed in the late-2000s, the Gutta Gang clique is composed of young affiliated members who share a common goal - chasing money. The clique takes its name from “Out the Gutta”, a popular song by a Grape Street Crip rapper. The Gutta Gang engages in a variety of activities (both legal and illegal) to attain their wealth. Its members routinely ‘flex’ on Facebrowser, drawing attention to the fact that they are largely money-oriented. Rancho Varrio Grape Rancho Varrio Grape (RVG) is a street gang operating out of the Jordan Downs Projects in southern Los Santos. The gang’s roots can be traced back to the early-1970s and, at the time, was composed mainly of African-American and Mexican-American youths. Over the years, the Latino affiliates began to closely align themselves with the Mexican Mafia, which led the gang to alter its name to South Side Varrio Grape 13 and resulted in the black affiliates branching off to form the Grape Street Crips. Tiny Wynos The Tiny Wynos (TWS) is a clique of the Varrio Grape street gang. Presumed to be one of Varrio Grape Street's most recent cliques, TWS mainly consists of young teenaged members that can often be found hanging out with the Grape Street Crips. The Tiny Wynos clique was formed after internal disagreements caused members to split from the Tiny Malos (TMS) clique. The split resulted in a small internal war between TWS and TMS that ultimately ended with a truce in the mid-2000s and the arrests of several of TWS members. With a weakened presence on the streets, remaining members slowly began to rebuild by focusing on the recruitment of young teenagers and local taggers from the Jordan Downs. Currently, the Tiny Wynos are operating out of the Jordan Downs as one of the largest and most active cliques of the Varrio Grape Street gang. Gangster Lokos Gangster Lokos(GLS) is one of the oldest and still standing cliques of Varrio Rancho Grape 13. A majority of the older generation of the gang, finding their affiliations with the Gangster Lokos. Over the years, LSPD began to crack down on the gang, more specifically the clique. The majority of the remnants of the Gangster Lokos clique have been scattered around the San Andreas penitentiary systems with only an insignificant amount of members who are released have rarely returned to the gang life but a small crumb has still been known to be active and rarely ever recruit, looking for experienced individuals. Allies and Rivals The group has conflicts with most of the street gangs located in the Rancho Area such as PJ Rancho Crips, Tenline Gangster Crips, 99 Rancho Mafia Crips. Other gangs outside of Rancho such as Rollin 60s Neighborhood Crips, Florencia 13, Hacienda Village Bloods and Circle City Piru are also big rivals to the group. Allies are Gangster Crips from Westside South Central, a few Carson Crips and Rollin 30’s Harlem Crips. All members and affiliates of the faction are reserving their characters killed for any serious infraction or not following the codes of conduct. We also reserve the right to CK characters from Varrio Grape/Grape Street Crip. We also extend our CK perms for Rancho Varrio Grape to the Mexican Mafia. Consult with the leadership of the faction to gain permission to post screenshots on the thread. Any questions or concerns can be directed to SpiderX3

  3. IRISH ORGANIZED CRIME: ALIVE OR LONG GONE? - Written by Kenneth Mullen, 4th November 2021. "Very much so. Organized crime will always have a place in the American society. For some reason we embrace a romanticized view of all mobsters. We don't want them living next door, but we do enjoy at least the Hollywood version of them." - says Stephen Gray, from the Glossary of the American Organized Crime. The Irish were largely very successful in leaving their mark in American history, and their presence was found everywhere; from simple shop owners to construction firms, from industrial work to medicine, and from Tammany Hall to the White House. They still actively operate but not very prominently (mostly in New England and other areas along the East Coast) but on a way lesser scale on the West Coast. They were once a force to be reckoned with, especially since they introduced organized crime to the United States in Chicago. Since the 80's however, they have been severely weakened by internal feuds, feuds with the Mafia and crackdowns by law enforcement. The Westies in NYC were very powerful and feared even amongst the Mafia. However, the high profile conviction of Jimmy Coonan and other associates have crippled the organization beyond the point of recovery. Their membership is somewhat dwindling and law enforcement operations have put some of their members in jail for a while. Similarly, and following the high profile FBI crackdown on the Winter Hill Gang in Boston during the mid-90's, the Irish Mob in Boston is very much under the radar. They once were a group to be fearful of, even putting the existence of The Patriarca Crime Family at risk once. The K&A Gang however, is becoming one of the most powerful syndicates in Philadelphia. Their membership is growing and their networking is growing exponentially. The West Los Gang was a crew with loose affiliation to the notorious burglary ring that was responsible for hundreds of burglaries in the Southern San Andreas area, allegedly led by Charles "Chucker" Flaherty who was convicted on several counts of Manufacturing A Controlled Substance in 2021. At one time during one of their burglaries where they've been misinformed about a huge amount of cash being stashed, they stumbled upon a sleeping couple. After having the house entirely ransacked and flipped upside down pointlessly, one of the crew members started smashing the woman's legs with a hammer in a desperate attempt to get something out of her boyfriend. Law enforcement obtained the registration numbers of the car that was used by the gang through a neighbor's security camera, they identified one of the accused as Cristopher Hannigan and seized his car. Following his conviction with Burglary and Aggravated Assault, he would later become known as "The Hammer" after doing his full sentence and keeping his mouth shut. The gang brew street people that one would today call as exploiters, or products of their environment. One of those people is Jimmy Kavanagh, who by the time was allegedly selling boosted accessories and slanging drugs with Bill Donnelly around the neighborhood for Flaherty until he was caught up in his indictment. It was pretty much a gritty association fueled by hard drugs and a taste for violence for the gang, and these two had aspired to become professional criminals. Few months after, they would collide paths with the semi-retired Philadelphian gangster Christian "Christy" Moran who had assumed control of the operation. They were bootstrappers who paved their way through life with nerve and audacity, and being the self-serving duo that they have always been is what landed them the opportunity to become Moran's collectors. Nobody would question their ability to get things done. Jimmy Kavanagh elevated his position within the underworld along with his life-long childhood friend Donnelly under Moran's flag, towing the party line and maintaining order. Today he is suspected to be playing a major role on the rise of a new formed gang in Los Santos along with his brother Frank who was convicted with armed-robbery charges back in his prime. And with a critical crew of loyal street guys and ex-convicts sharing interesting backgrounds covering their backs. Who would step up to the Kavanaghs? One's a former enforcer of the now defunct Christy Moran Crew that was running operations out of Nancy's Pub in Hawick, Vinewood. And the other's a local legend who was directly involved in the infamous 2013 raid of an armored truck in San Fierro. The Irish never had a stronghold in Los Santos, and they might never have. But with Moran setting the foundations and improving the gang's standing in the city, you could definitely sense a feeling of community around these guys. Even among major players, there was a presence being imposed in the open market that is Los Santos by Christy Moran and his band of misfits. And for a little while? You could almost say that the sleeping giant who had refused to be woken had a chance to actually get back on its feet. In fact, if the Irish on The West Coast weren't bonded by loyalty like their predecessors in other cities like Philadelphia or Boston. These guys were a prideful tight-knit crew spearheaded by an even prideful and ruthless Jimmy Kavanagh. They are a group of people that know what they're doing, and their share on the streets of Los Santos continues to grow. Irish Pride was truly embed into them.

  4. They are biased towards their own. It's always been that way on every single RP server. There's a big deal here about making sure admins can't be questioned. Threads get locked (as I predict this one will be), there's a noted lack of transparency, and criticism while not de jure banned gets de facto swept under the rug. Heathen was proof that admins can be corrupt. He helped his own faction by abusing his power and shielding his own. Corrupt admins have been removed before. To say that corruption is non-existent right now would be probably false. It just likely hasn't been discovered. I remember an admin in LSRP once mentioned something about how FM investigations can be purposely overcomplicated as to be rendered null. A lot of admins know each other and there's been career admins through multiple RP servers. The mafia's led by a manager while the Korean-Armenian hybrid and the Russians are led by IFM admins - arguably the three most persistent and powerful factions, and they know the power they hold in this small, virtual world. People rarely go against them due to the fact they're seen as "admin factions". A lot of gun deals go down OOCly too, as we saw with the Black Car and their ironic rivals Rancho 13. The consolidation of power is not totally IC as much as people would like to believe. It's a sad state of affairs.

  8. **DISCLAIMER** **This is NOT a thread to bash on IFM and their handing of the supplier program. But a thread for the illegal factions and the illegal faction community to express their experiences with how they're either being accepted or denied by IFM to run with any of the given supplier roles in order to promote better portrayal and a more immersive roleplay experience, to their concept.** So. To start of this topic, I'd like to express that the reason for this discussion is because myself and my faction has been trying to get accepted for a supplier role, for well over half a year, closing in on 9 months as far as I understand. We have been through very dry periods on the gun market, which was putting a big hold on the illegal roleplay scene, at least when it comes to organized crime and I expect non OCG factions would have felt this likewise. And these are just a few of the examples. Now, I'd like to speak for myself on this matter. I am Roleplaying as Matthew Chau. White Paper Fan of the Hóng Shǒu Triad 三合会. That means that I administrate and advise on all business related matters to the faction. Legal as illegal. In our faction, we have and have had super dedicated members, really doing some thorough research on how to get this stuff, all the way to how do the real Triad handle these deliveries, logistically. As we do organized crime, this is a very and I repeat. VERY big deal to portray a Triad correctly. Being able to control a supply of either guns or drugs. But yeah. We have pushed to get a supplier role for a very long time. I even think we have had people try all the roles, more or less. Of course not the same people, as we have a bunch of active good roleplayers, who specializes in different areas of expertise. Now, every single time we see the suppliers open, we prepare the best applications, explaining our plan from start to finish. How do we smuggle. Where does it come from. Who transports it. ALL the things IFM needs to know, in order to make sure that we did our homework. Yet, every single time, our faction. As an example. (I am sure this happens to many other factions as well). Gets denied. Regardless of paragraphs upon paragraphs of solid research and reasoning behind our application. Now, here comes the triggy part. Because as we never seem to get our hands on the supplier roles we apply for. Factions containing administrators, seem to be quite lucky, getting what supplier roles they apply for? It's a pattern that I among others have been noticing, along our long journey of trying to obtain a license to improve our OCG RP. Is this really how it is? Are IFM biased towards their own, allowing them to gain the supplier roles within the staff ranks, over the rest of us? Now, back when I was in IFM. (That is a few years back indeed. A lot has happened since then.) I was the Head of the Supplier Program. And at this time, we only did drugs and weapon suppliers. We had smaller suppliers and bigger suppliers. But all in all, the same thing, right? I was trying to do my absolut best, to make sure that the people who applied for these roles, all stood a fair chance, as some of these individuals spend hours upon hours. Days upon days, making a very polished application. Doing their research. Looking into all the details. And yes! Of course some players stood out in a better way than others, to staff. And maybe we had run into some troublemakers before, who many would probably not guess would get accepted, as they caused some problems, maybe involving reports on DM. No fear RP etc. But this shit happens in illegal roleplay. We all know that. People want to be right. But these incidents are the reason we have the report system to begin with.. Anyways... - So we had to look above all of that. But regardless of these individuals might causing problems or have had a bad run with the report section on forum. They still had a fair chance of getting their supplier. Some of them got em even! Because even tho their history might have been a little against them. They provided quality roleplay for not only their members. But a whole heck of a lot more, who were interested in interacting with them. I have always tried my best being against biased staff in roleplaying communities, as it can ruin the fun for a big chunk of people. But I must say. This could be a reasoning behind our playercount falling a bit, compared to earlier this year? We are peaking at 6-700 now. We used to be higher? It could be exams. It could be jobs. But we're also in a state of Covid, which should at least bring a high percentage back to their beloved gaming chairs and get on to roleplay. So I personally. Blame the gameplay. And I think this could be one of the leading factors to this problem. Lets say that the supplier roles are not biased and are actually acquired as intended. I still think that because they are very limited to a special few factions, like they are. Maybe people who can't be part of the supplier RP, without being either mobster, biker or gangster, for example. Will leave. - Here I speak from experience to what we have witnessed. Of members leaving our ranks, simply because we only get denied applications and never move forward. Regardless of effort put into them. It does feel like some of the IFM administrators, are hard passing on certain factions getting their supplier roles, due to clashes in the past. And if this is the case, we really need to do something about it. Because it's strangulating factions, determined to proove themselves and show the rest of the server, how this is done, corrently. Be respectful. Be kind. I want to read everybody's opinions on this subject. And for the love of god. Don't start acting up.

  9. The Deep West Graveyard (G-Yard) Gangster Crips or GYGC are a somewhat small & primarily a Black/African American street gang located on the deep west side in the Del Perro region of Los Santos. Their neighborhood is located in the now gentrified Morningwood district at the Perrera Beach Motel which is a few block down from the Del Perro Cemetery, hence the name "Graveyard" derives from. The gang was first formed the in the early 1980's but went by another name at the time, going by Insane Morningwood Gang. Towards the end of the 1980's, they changed their set name to Graveyard Gangster Crips. As a portion of their name suggests, the G-Yard Gangster Crips fall under the Gangster Crips/3x umbrella and are allied with most Gangster Crip sets through the city of Los Santos. The gang also happen to share turf with an intense rival Sureño gang by the name of Del Perro 13 that has been going on for nearly 20 years. The G-Yard Gangster Crips also feud with gangs in Vespucci such as Vepucci Shoreline Crips, Vespucci 13, Culver City Boyz & Sotel 13. The gang also beefs with gangs under the Neighborhood Crip car such as the Rollin 40's, 60's, 90's & 100's. The gang is known for sporting Texas Rangers "T" hats as well as Georgetown Bulldogs "G" logo similar to insignia of most Gangster Crip/3x gangs in Los Santos. The gang today is now all misguided youth who mainly focus on making money in the gentrified area of Del Perro in which they still maintain the heart of their turf at the Perrera Beach motel. Many say the gang has went defunct in recent years but this is not true, the gang's membership drastically decreased over the years due to gentrification and gang injunctions but are still active and around. All of the founding members of the gang are either in the San Andreas state prison, dead or moved out of states to start better lives. The current youth of the gang are left with no structure as they're determined to make a name for themselves and keep the gang's name and reputation alive. Operation: Tombstone In 2008, the LSPD along with the feds launched a year long investigation into the Graveyard Gangster Crips gang after a homicide that occurred that authorities believe the gang was responsible for. Many find it hard to believe that Del Perro, with a median housing price of $1.6M, is home to two entrenched gangs. Preston Wayne Brumfield, 49, was a neighborhood character. He had a metal plate in his head from a past injury. On May 11th, 2008 he was found in a pool of blood outside of 1948 20th Street in the Perrera Beach neighborhood. Police had reported that he had insulted a member of a local gang, the Graveyard Gangster Crips, and was pummeled as a result. He died four days later at ULSA Medical Center. Neighbors were outraged, prompting the LSPD to launch a major assault against neighborhood gangs that included wiretaps. The result includes the arrests of 14 suspects, four of whom were connected to the murder, and another four who are from a rival gang that operates in the same area. Also suspected in the Brumfield murder, he was picked up in South Los Santos by Los Santos police. Los Santos police targeted the Graveyard Gangster Crips under what they called “Operation Tombstone.” The Crips occupy a few blocks down from the Del Perro Cemetery, which is at Pico Boulevard and 14th Street at the Perrera Motel. The neighborhood at the West Los Santos border has been long home to the Crips & DP13 (Del Perro 13 gang) and other smaller gangs which eventually died off. It has historically been a Latino neighborhood, which was divided in two when the Del Perro Freeway opened in 1966, forming the community's northern border. The area remained comparatively depressed as property values in the rest of the city soared, though it's hardly an inner-city ghetto. Due to the small size of the gang, police used wiretaps, narcotics investigations and search warrants to come up with the arrests of many members of the Graveyard Gangster Crips. The investigation also led police to scrutinize members of the adjacent Del Perro 13 gang, leading to four arrests. The department reports, the Los Santos District Attorney's office notified 200 individuals that their phone calls were intercepted as part of the investigation. Some will be asked to cooperate with investigators, police said. Along with Coleman, Sammy Murphy, 50, Gwindon Love Murphy, 65, and Jason Anthony Hurtado, 26, were arrested on suspicion of murdering Brumfield. Coleman was also held on two narcotics warrants.

  11. Having a Waco siege with SAPR and Sheriffs at the Tongvan Reserve on our first day as a faction. Really paved the way for our pace to get back to official and got some great RP from guys like Matt Graham and @Pillsbury. @Scarecrow and @celestialrage were two guys, I loved running a faction with and having @DLimit as an advisor for that faction. Everyone involved, every scene - it was honestly some of the best RP I've ever had the chance to be a part of.

  13. 10 Easy Steps That Can Make You a Professional Illegal Roleplayer 1. The Upbringing. You character must have a tear-dropping upbringing by the likes of being abandoned in a sewer by his crackhead mother with AIDS after his father died in a gang-related shooting because he didn't empty his pockets (cuh). The saddest, hood-esque, grimiest the story, the better. 2. The Early Struggle. Meet the local criminal organizations, some way or another you'll be scammed into selling overpriced weed that you cannot pay back, this step is also known as the corner bitch boy stage. In order to recover from the results of what is essentially multi level marketing you'll proceed to step 3. 3. Empty Yo Pockets Cuh. At this step you're left with around $50,000 all your money, enough to recover from step 2. Enough to purchase a Nagasaki BF400 ($20,000 uninsured), a mask ($5,000), a purchase firearm license ($5,000), and a pistol ($9,700). Equip the pistol, a helmet, put on the mask and ride around Vespucci and Rockford Hills — What you're looking for is a female character or somebody driving a nice car, pull over in front of them, point your gun and inquire them about their belongings, if they're slow or uncooperative make use of the command /b and tell them "why are you stalling, pls rp fear". After this step you'll master the street scene and become accustomed with the Player Reports section on the Forums. 4. The Hustle. You've already accumulated enough $5,000 robberies, PF guns and phones to make a name for yourself in the criminal underworld. Purchase a $60,000 house and store your booty, that is your stash. Don't spend your money to greedily because you'll need them at step 5. 5. Contacts. Contacts are very important for a criminal, that's why you'll make use of your loot to affirm yourself as a criminal. Don't forget, wealth is temporary, crime is eternal. You'll sell your stolen PF weapons below market level to criminal organizations, hooking them up slowly into your gig. With each deal you'll end up more notorious, being worth thousands of unsellable drugs. 6. From Associate to Insider. You're not going to live as an entry-level criminal your whole character's life. At this point you're knowledgeable enough to start your own crew. Hook someone else to sell your overpriced drugs in the hood, yes, now you've got your own corner bitch boy. 7. Notorious ERP. You've got you crew, people are trembling in fear at your sight, legal roleplayers and mallrats are spamming the General Discussions section of the forums with illegal roleplayer hating topics, but as you know, all publicity is good publicity. You've made a name for yourself. Enjoy the life, go to clubs and find yourself a couple of neckbeard eprers to have fun with. 8. Going Up The Ladder. At this point you've already got access to the organization's Discord channels, this will come useful. Don't forget, illegal rp is not a smooth ride, it's a motherfucking rat race, you have to crush your competition to scale up in the ranks. Start Discord beef, eventually turning it into IC beef that justifies you to Character Kill your opponents. It's going to be a rough ride, but after days of arguing over Discord, Character Kill Appeals and Player Reports you'll come out victorious. 9. The Long Wait. This is the easiest step, criminal organizations tend to falter as the weekly Discord beefs go by. Enjoy yourself while you get up the ladder because the other members either left, got CK'd or were banned. 10. Is This The End of The Beginning or The Beginning of The End? You did it, you're now a renown criminal. The struggle is not ending though, for life is pain. You'll witness the collapse of empires, the end of friendships and acquire new enemies as you hop from organizations to another, trying to live long enough to become a legend on Illegal Factions Community Discord. The criminal underworld is your oyster, king.
