  1. Tagging crews, street crews and street gangs. Despite being three different terms with a similar meaning objectively speaking. They each have their own different, but similar issues behind themselves. All typically effecting the African American and Hispanic communities negatively due to their reception and their actions within the streets of Los Santos. Each of the three terms represented a large problem for the City of Los Santos. Street crew from the aspect of their respective crimes, from drug dealing to prostitutions, and, just overall criminal mischief. Street Gangs, the same exact problems but amplified by size, grouping and overarching affiliations. Tagging Crews take all the aspects of SGs and SCs but lower them to a smaller size with a different kind of mischief, graffiti. Whereas SGs and SCs use graffiti to represent their territory and respective identifiers; tagging crews spend most of their focus on this small aspect of graffiti, viewing it in a more artistic sense. Los Santos faced an epidemic of these smaller tagging crews constantly defacing city and private property in their attempts to become represented and infamous. These initially petty graffiti beefs, backed by one crew tagging over another's art-work eventually became deadly situations in which two or more sides engaged in urban warfare until one decided to pull out or died off. Graffiti remains a large problem imbedded into the Los Santos community to this day. It remains a large part of the cities gang culture, being viewed as a respect thing; Placing your name on your sets respective wall serves as a memorial for your work. 96 Dollars Earned Always Gangster Crip Dollars Earned Always , modernly referred to as the 96 Dollars Earned Always Gangster Crip or Dead End Alley Gang represented the name of what was originally a street/tagging crew split between Grove and Brouge avenue respectively. Originally active in the 1980s, the group operated as a Tagging Crew with loose connections with prostitution. The group was mostly focused on their graffiti work before ending up in their own level of respective beef in relation to their overall location and lack thereof direct affiliations with a larger group in the city. The group fell into conflict with another group from the rancho area during their initial run before fading into obscurity, being remembered as another group in that specific era of the city. Despite attempting to ignore the exterior conflict, members of DEA ended up joining the 96 Gangster Crips as an overarching defense mechanism for the war that was breaking out within the city. With Los Santos split between Deuces (2x) and Trey (3x); and, bullets not holding an direct names, the only logical choice was made. Along with many others, they picked up arms and began to actively participate within the war that plagued the street. These R60s allied and 8TGC supporting groups, despite being directly under the same gang banner, engaged in decades long war without any sign of stopping. Still continuing to this very day with the same fuels of hatred behind itself. 96 Dollar Gang The group re-surfaced as an offshoot of the aforementioned 96 Gangster Crips, operating as a smaller set not directly effected by the main MCTC alliance within their location. 96DEA operates as one of the smallest Gangster Crip (3x) sets on the East-Side, remaining surprisingly active with their newer generation continuing a level of beef between themselves and their respective opposition. Referring to themselves as 'Dollar Gang', the group continue their operations casually, following the same daily methods of collecting profit for themselves. Despite being nearly defunct besides for their younger generations, they feud with the 88 Hard Time Hustle Crips, Hat Gang Rancho Crips and most Neighborhood Crip sets. This younger generation typically refers to themselves as 96 Dead End or 96 Dollar Gang; Taking it up as a preferable representation over the previously long winded DEAGC. Older members still actively represent the full DEA Moniker due to the history behind it. The Davis Wine and Spirt acts as a typical hangout spot of Dead End affiliates and neighborhood dwellers in general. The winery is constantly refereed to as the Dead-End due to its location and standing within the community as the birthplace of addiction, leading to a dead end within ones life.

  3. Detailed Description Attempting to make the racing scene better, as whenever I see a tuner at a car meet, or a street race. It's always a Sultan or Sultan Classic, I don't really see a variety of cars within the car scene. I understand that the server isn't NFS, but I've been seeing alot of street racing roleplay lately, and we're gonna need more cars.

  5. -1 Panic is only to be used in life-threatening situations anyway. So the fact they have to actually open chat and type it, and roleplay using it in a situation where they're being shot at or otherwise in danger is nerf enough. If you can't stop that from happening then it's fair game. The quick response is a balance of the fact that you can get basically five blocks away within a minute in GTA's map. Giving people a 30 second grace is as good as allowing them to go and sit anywhere else in the city. The whole point of it is to try and peserve the life of the person using it. If a delay of anything over like 10 seconds is used, they become useless in the context of GTA and how fast you can move from A to B. May as well get rid of the alarm at that point and just force them to radio "Mayday, Location." It'll be faster and more effective. We have a crime rate miles more unrealistic than what it should be with MCI's and people dying hourly each day. Any suggestions to lower this with OOC rules or boundries is met with people saying keep it IC. So of course if so many people are dying I think its certainly fair to allow cops quick response times and a useful panic button. Advocating the panic button to be more useless just advocates more people to shoot at cops cause it's a whole lot easier to get away when you get a nice little grace period. And if anything, we need less shootings. Not more.

  7. Because if you're not enjoying the job you're roleplaying working at in a game — why would you do it? Most people don't roleplay to simulate a 9-5 job and all the negatives that come with it. While it may be more 'realistic', it's not particularly fun. Playing video games is about fun, and being ultra realistic in this regard is merely only a nitpick that does not truly destroy or diminish the integrity or capability of roleplay.

  8. 12 November 2021 — Supplier Program All acceptances from the melee & electronics opening are due to be issued by 15 November 23:59 GMT-0. Due to the changes with weapons following a recent game update, IFM will now leave the weapon specialists' role open. This will remain open until we feel we got a sufficient amount of people covering this role - as this is now way more required than it was before. This still counts towards a faction's supplier count. (minor) (ref: LINK) Tobacco Supplier will no longer count towards a Faction's supplier total, applications remain open. (1 major, 1 minor). (ref: LINK) Drug supplier applications are due to open, multiple people from the same faction may apply but only one person will be accepted. OPEN: 16 November until 23 November Notifications of acceptance will be issued before 30 November 23:59 GMT-0. Drug prices across the board have been reduced supplier side and are now live for suppliers: "I've just gone over and adjusted prices for drug suppliers overall. I'm also going to force weapon suppliers to purchase a specific % of their order as pistols. So we will see over the course of a month or two how this affects the market in-game, but this is obviously done on a supplier level and not a forced in-game price by us, but it should open up for suppliers to price down drugs and perhaps we see more use and sale of them." — Shanks — Unofficial Groups Restrictions on concept submissions have been lifted, no other changes.

  11. It's a little bit jarring to hear American men talk about the latest soccer results and not the latest football/basketball/baseball results, and to have an interest in starting a recreational soccer league. On the other hand, the American lesbian population IG is tragically ignorant of women's soccer and doesn't even know who is dating who on the USWNT.

  13. Directory of common bank accounts (Which I believe is coming or in the making of), maybe a UI where you can save peoples routing numbers for ease of access? For instance people you regularly pay to, you'd have to note the number down somewhere (or check logs) just to find it. Oh and JOINT accounts, especially if you're married IC and use the partnership script. Makes paying stuff jointly so much easier instead of one person sending a large amount to the other. This can then bring more RP for the courts upon divorces.

  15. Detailed Description I'd like to suggest a new mapping mod for the server below, cause atm there's so many issues with factions being so confined together which causes so many OOC issues. Many of the people I spoke to who roleplay in South Central on the daily (Gang related or not) agreed this would be a great addition to the server, it probably won't effect performance as much as you'd like to think. Most of the buildings in the video are already ingame somewhere in a model list. You'd probably would have to delete some of the previous buildings. As far as I know, there's only 2-3 businesses located in the area, so it's possible for them to be relocated somewhere else as well (If possible and in agreement with the new mapping mod displayed below.) BEST AREAS TO REVAMP/REMAP WITH HOUSING UNITS, WON'T EFFECT MAJORITY OF PROPERTIES/BUSINESSES @DONALDTRUMPFROMFLATS Relevant Commands/Items None How will it benefit the server? It'd benefit 90% (Almost everyone I brought this up with who was involved in south central roleplay, gang-related or not., agreed that this would be a great addition)

  16. The East Side Main Street Mafia Crips are a gang known in the streets of Los Santos for their involvement in shootings but mostly because of their reputation for making money. Over the years, the Hoover Criminals and the Main Street Mafia Crips shared the same enemies and often did business together, the two gangs were on good terms until 2009. On August 6, 2009, the Main Street Mafia Crips had a party. where the Hoover Criminals were invited, the evening turned sour when a member of the Hoover Criminals and a member of the Main Street Mafia Crips clashed over a girl where shots were fired. On August 16, 2009, Charnae Bray and Dequawn Allen also known as "4-Star" were returning from the Davis Mall. Bray wore an orange hoodie and Allen wore an orange bandana. They were walking on Brouge Avenue when an individual approached them and asked Allen where he was from, Allen responded with "Nine Foe Hoover" (94 Hoover Criminals) before being shot twice. in the torso and later succumbed to his injuries after being taken into care by the Los Santos Fire Department. Police arrested Kristopher Thomas on August 28, 21, in connection with the murder of Allen, only thirteen years old at the time of the shooting after being identified by Bray and the testimony of two other witnesses who helped locate the vehicle having been used to flee the scene, on MSMC territory. Thomas was an active member of the Main Street Mafia Crips and police believe the shooting was the result of a previous conflict between the Hoover Criminals and the Main Street Mafia Crips. On the night of August 25, 2009, an armed man opened fire in the heart of Rancho on Brouge Avenue: the two victims died of gunshot wounds; Drayvon James, 29, died at the scene while Robert Nelson, 16 was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries later that night. Police believe the shooter was affiliated with the 94 Hoover Criminals Gang and the shooting was in retaliation for Allen's murder. The shooter was never apprehended and the case is still pending. Lazale "Gotti # 3" Smith was a member of the Main Street Mafia Crips a 27-year-old black man, was shot dead on May 31 near the intersection of Grove Street and Covenant Avenue in southern Los Santos. Gotti traveled in an SUV from Rancho to Grove Street and got off to start a shootout with members of the Hoover Criminals. They retaliated and killed Gotti in the exchange of fire, shot in the head which killed him instantly. That day, the LSPD was responding to an assault at gunpoint when they found Smith's body inert on the ground, That day, the LSPD was responding to a call about an assault with a gun found Smith unconscious in the street, however, his SUV was no longer at the scene of the crime. Following the death of Smith or Gotti # 3, members of the 98 Main Street Mafia Crips adopted the name Gotti World or Gotti Gang in his memory, as do many gangs that pay homage to their deceased members. 984 MAIN STREET MAFIA CRIP Formerly known as the Main Street Hustlers, Main Street Mafia Crips is a predominantly African-American street gang founded in the 1970s in southeastern Los Santos and more specifically in Rancho. Today the Main Street Crip consists of a small number of members, between their teens and their mid-twenties, recent gang activity in the neighborhood in recent years has established that is he is a gang with a dominant but reduced presence in its area. In 2019, the street gang saw a steady growth of new members. Most of the new street gang members who have come to the attention of the police are between the ages of 15 and 20. The street gang, unlike many others in the neighborhood, seems to have more of an interest in recruiting young men and women who are in their late teens or early twenties rather than young people who are in their late teens or early twenties. are still in childhood or early adolescence. It stands to reason that the street gang, by recruiting older members, is looking for more experienced and hardened criminals to join their ranks. The 984 Main Street Mafia Crips are made up of two gangs: 84 Main Street Mafia Crips and 94 Main Street Mafia Crips which is the largest and most active Mafia Crip gang in Los Santos. They are primarily rivals with the Hoover Criminals and more primarily with the 83 Hoover Criminals, Innocence Family Gangster Bloods, Mad Swan Bloods, South Side Tokers 13 as well as Hat Gang and Grape Street Watts Crips. Recently, Main Street Mafia Crips and Neighborhood Crips gangs but also East Coast Crips are even closer than before, their similar rivalries as with the Hoovers but also the shared relations between the two gang members results from a strong alliance in Southern Los Santos also known as the "Ninety (90ty) Gang" Due to an injunction from the LSPD in Rancho grouping together several gangs such as the Swan Bloods, 73 Hustler Crips, Florencia 13 to reduce gang activity around an area near a high school and numerous arrests, the gang is once got to the point where they would be considered "dead" but are slowly regaining in numbers since the arrest of many of their most respected members and considered to be leaders of operations, leaving Rancho as an even more active neighborhood than 'previously thanks to its reputation, known as a place where murders, drug trafficking shared on FaceBrowser and other illegal activities are present, which explains the activity on this neighborhood in the southeast of Los Santos.
