  1. There's another community releasing soon which caters more toward illegal roleplayers, I wouldn't be surprised at all if the point system is removed in the hopes that players won't move over to that particular community. Letting people commit crime everywhere in the city was the start, meeting characters that'll tell you they've already been to prison three times over murder is the next step. Realism has been thrown out of the window and is making place for quick paced, adrenaline rush inducing GTA:O gameplay with extra steps. Civilians are now NPC's facilitating their need to dominate another person under the guise of "roleplay". Fun is only for one side of the spectrum now, the other side is supposed to roleplay victims for those to have fun. Goes without saying that I oppose this suggestion. What happened to these beautiful promises that made me play on this server in the first place.

  3. From my personal experience on this server, I can confidently say that out of all subdivisions admins have, IFM struggles the most. There are indeed double standards in IFM team and sometimes it is extremely obvious. I am not going to point fingers because I don't think there is someone specific to blame for this, I think there is a flaw in the structure of the team itself.

  4. Seems like a mindset issue to me. This isn't as easy as you may believe. My character does the crime. I also enjoy playing my character. Being forced to lose my character based on a single criminal case that doesn't result in any long-term consequences for the other players involved (e.g. the player I robbed doesn't RP PTSD, they don't RP being a victim of a crime) means I have little incentive to follow through with roleplaying the long-term consequences of my character's actions. My character is also a sociopath, he doesn't care about the consequences. The vast majority of crimes in real life result in no conviction or no punishment. 40% of all violent crimes result in arrest, of those only a fifth result in a conviction. This is how the judiciary works sometimes in real life, probably more often than issuing substantial punishments that force someone to stay in prison. Have you done any criminal roleplay as part of an illegal faction before?

  5. Short description: Remove the criminal points system and replace it with the equivalent of a CK application that certain legal roleplayers (i.e. judges?) can complete if they want to argue that a specific character deserves life imprisonment. Detailed description: Like anyone who uses this server for 14-hour esex marathons and to hang out at clubs with the avatars of my Discord friends, I hate criminal roleplayers. They steal my expensive cars and RPQM report me when my Japanese influencer character disarms and executes them with her concealed carry weapon (her dad was in the Yakuza and trained her from birth). However, I can still admit that the criminal points system is not currently fair or functioning as it should. I will outline why below: 1) It discourages people from sticking with a character. This is bad because characters become more interesting over time as their history expands, they build networks and their players get to know them better. We should have more characters like this, but this system discourages them. 2) It punishes people who aren't necessarily reckless. Eventually, you're going to rack up 30 points no matter how careful you are. Because this is GTA and not real life, people are going to amass points relatively quickly even without being provocative or careless. 3) It isn't stopping Deshawn Deagle and the East Side Excess Apostrophe Crip Mafia from doing lots of dumb shit. These people are too stupid to assess the risks and they're too swayed by a culture that equates deathmatching and OOC bragging with good roleplay. You can't fix them with rule changes - you need to go after the culture that's perpetuated by their faction leaders. 4) It does nothing to address the British characters on the server who should be marched to the shores of San Andreas and drowned. 5) The new system (proposed under the above 'Short description' section) can be applied more deliberately in the right circumstances. Commands to add: None. Items to add: None. How would your suggestion improve the server? It would remove an unhelpful system that contributes to demotivating criminal roleplayers. 6. State of San Andreas Official Press Release From the desk of Esme Sheikh, Communications Specialist: For Immediate Release to the General Public: Tanya Sun sworn in for District 34: On Thursday, October 26th, Tanya Sun met with Secretary of State Noah Wade at San Andreas State Capitol where she was sworn in as the Senator for District 34. Tanya Sun took the oath of office, solemnly swearing to support and defend the Constitution of the United States as well as the Constitution of San Andreas against all enemies, foreign and domestic; bearing true faith and allegiance to the same; that she took the obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that she would well and faithfully discharge the duties of office on which she was about to enter: So help her God. Attachments: Senator Tanya Sun pictured in the background raising her hand and taking the oath of office along side Secretary of State Noah Wade in the foreground Senator Tanya Sun will be the acting Senator for district 34 for the Democratic Caucus, shortly after taking the oath of office Sun agreed to do a brief interview. Sun touched on her background and what Sun's plans are now that she's a Senator for the Democratic Caucus. Below is a transcript of what was discussed: Esme Sheikh: Hey Senator Sun, thank you for giving me some of your time. It's great to see your interest in the Senate, how about we start with who you are. Tell me a little about yourself, your background and how you're feeling now that you're the Senator representing district thirty-four? Tanya Sun: Well, thank you for taking the time.. and for your questions. Well, uh my American name is Tanya Sun. I was born in Jeonnam in South Korea. Like so many in this State my story started in another country. Tanya Sun: Unlike many though, I had a privileged start in life - my family were well off in the business world. So I had access to what most people would dream of really, a world class education, healthcare and.. well almost limitless upward mobility. Tanya Sun: So, when I came to Los Santos to study my Juris Doctorate, I really had no real sense of the "real" world that every day Americans, people around the world deal with everyday. Tanya Sun: Little Seoul, Armenia, Vespucci.. these areas opened my eyes. So it's.. my privilege to have represented them in City Hall, and to do so again as Senator for District Thirty Four. We all have a part to play, and those of us with privilege have a moral obligation to do everything they can to help those without it. Esme Sheikh: Much like you, I also had quite a privileged start in life - you said you represented people in Little Seoul, Armenia and Vespucci, could you expand a little more on that? Tanya Sun says: So, some time ago I ran for office in Los Santos City Hall in the Western District, which encompassed those areas. I owe everything to those communities, really. Without them I really would have stayed ignorant to how things really are. Tanya Sun: I think I was the youngest candidate? Was certainly the only woman. Yet the electorate saw fit to uh vote me into office with, what I believe are.. still record margins. I ran against a Republican, Joshua Shepherd. One of the best campaigns. Tanya Sun: I learned so much from that campaign, and my time in office. I can't even begin to express how happy I am to be working for my constituents again. Esme Sheikh: That's quite the history, Senator. It must've been quite the learning experience for you. Now that you're a State Senator, what are your future goals? Do you plan on focusing more on bills that suit the needs of the people in the areas you mentioned or do you plan to broaden your scope to a more wide area? Tanya Sun : Both. It may seem ambitious, maybe even unrealistic, but I owe it to my District to ensure local focuses aren't neglected at the State level, and I owe it to the State to ensure everyone has equal access to opportunity. Esme Sheikh: Ambition is much needed, I feel like you'll do perfectly given your record. Senator, it's been a pleasure and I thank you for the time you've given me. 8. Literally just discourages good break in roleplay. Why roleplay putting a plan together when you can just kick the door open because the alarm's gonna be powergamed to go off no matter what?

  9. I already tried keeping press realistic when I ran Weazel, I spent hours putting each article into a nice graphic format. Nobody gave a shit and noone who wasn't in Weazel thanked me for it. People were too busy finding small problems to protest for weeks on end about and take out of context. Unfortunately it's a niche of roleplay that very few care about or are motivated to do unless they're raking in tons of cash. Which isn't something that can be sustained for long due to the lack of revenue sources. LSNN faced this same issue after their initial popularity as an underdog but after a while, nobody was motivated to roam around the city hoping to come across something more interesting than a traffic stop then sit for a couple of hours writing an article which'll get a few trollish comments if they're lucky. All for very little pay. So the problem isn't so much press portrayal, it's that the majority of players don't care when it is well portrayed and would rather find a way to screw with established brands. I'm all for improved standards when it comes to IC media, but there's no encouragement from management for press companies who perform well. Infact LFM were consistently trying to limit the resources we had available and eventually took away our access to finances. That was the real nail in the coffin, motivation and activity flatlined. Though granted those were very different times, and under different LFM leadership so perhaps things might be different if there was fresh motivation from the community. That said, realistic press portrayal is something that requires the community to actually play ball with. As I said, it's a very niche area of roleplay with little to motivate those interested in it, most disappear after a few months.

  10. 首の襟から尾骨まで伸びる完全な背中の入れ墨は、百時間かかることがあります A complete back tattoo, stretching from the collar of the neck down to the tailbone can take one hundred hours. そのような大規模な入れ墨は、その後、強さのテストになり、ギャンブラーは世界に彼らの勇気、強靭さ、そして男らしさを示すために熱心に練習を採用しました Such extensive tattooing, then, became a test of strength, and the gamblers eagerly adopted the practice to show the world their courage, toughness, and masculinity. それは同時に、別のより謙虚な目的を示しました-追放者を他の世界から永久に区別するであろう自傷行為として It showed, at the same time, another, more humble purpose - as a self-inflicted wound that would permanently distinguish the outcasts from the rest of the world.
